“Gun Death” Unknown Assailant

This one is kinda scary!

More than two months since an Anchorage man’s beating death, police and prosecutors are still looking for a suspect indicted under the name “John Doe.”

A grand jury handed up manslaughter charges against the man and his alleged accomplice, Thomasina Richardson-Henry, on Oct. 25. Richardson-Henry, 48, had already been jailed on a first-degree assault charge in the August altercation with Timothy Backus, 53, that left Backus unconscious in a hospital. He died days later.

As of Thursday, John Doe was still on the loose, Deputy District Attorney Clint Campion said.

With all that information they may not find him until he kills again. Still his MO doesn’t involve a gun, so the residents of Alaska I’m sure are deeply comforted by this.

“Gun Death” Bus Crash

We need Common Sense Bus Controls!

At least 44 people were burned to death early Wednesday when the luxury bus they were traveling on lost control and ignited in southeastern Andhra Pradesh state, underscoring the dangerous state of Indian roads.

Five passengers out of the 51 people aboard the air-conditioned luxury Volvo bus managed to escape by breaking windows, said Pradeep Reddy, additional police superintendent in the state’s Mahabubnagar district. The driver and his assistant fled through the door even as the rest perished in the rapidly spreading blaze. Indian media reported that the emergency exits jammed, preventing escape.

Police said the bus was on an overnight run from Bangalore to Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, when it tried to overtake another vehicle around 5 a.m. and hit a drain, igniting the fuel tank.

Most passengers were reportedly sleeping when the accident occurred some 90 miles south of Hyderabad. Authorities reported having trouble identifying the badly charred bodies. Adding to the difficulty, several people boarded along the way, so their names were not on any passenger list.

Again this shows a sideways agenda of the “Gun Death” fanatics, as one person shot dead at LA International is a massive national news story, but 44 people burned to death in a bus isn’t even relevant.

Those who use the metric of “Gun Death” as some sort of public safety criteria barely classify as human in my book. Certainly they have no regard for human lives…just banning guns!

Name Game and Bigotry

So Tam has a great post about anti-gun reporters who know nothing about guns.

Still the discussion section took a swing this way:

Commenter Reno Sepulveda notes that apparently Sen. Feinstein has latched on to the “Military & Police” moniker as well. Someone needs to let these grabasstic busybodies know that the label has been used by Smith & Wesson more or less continuously since 1899, making it an older trade label than “International Business Machines” (whose products, I will note, can somewhat misleadingly be used for non-commercial purposes and entirely within the boundaries of one nation.)

There are all sorts of gun names that can be misleading, or demonized by the anti-gun groups. “Military and Police” can be demonized as weapons not for the general public but for the “Only Ones”. “Tactical” is often around and equally misleading. S&W also has several guns labeled “Bodyguard”, and “Chief Special”. Or Colt’s “Commander”, “Combat Commander”, and “Officer”

Still I’d like to note that our opponents are bigots, not literalists.

A Mini-14 “Ranch Rifle”, a such-and-such “SPorter”, or the brand also extensively used by Smith and Wesson “PD” for “Personal Defense”, or the rarely used, but I always liked the guns bearing this badge “Lady Smith”.

Guns with mundane names will be just as demonized as mundane guns with “Tactical” names because the opposition simply hates guns and gun owners and will twist any phrase or term to attempt to sway people who know nothing of guns to side with them.

“Gun Death” NYC

Again NYC shows how good it is at preventing “Gun Death”

New York City emergency responders say at least three people are dead and three others have been injured following reports of a stabbing at a Brooklyn residence.

A fire department spokesman said a department team responded to the home in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn just before 11 p.m. Saturday. The spokesman said at least three people were found dead at the scene and another three were taken to Lutheran Medical Center.

See, a triple stabbing! This would be a national news story if a gun had been used, and it would be considered a “Mass Shooting”, only it was a “Mass Stabbing” so it isn’t even relevant because only “Gun Death” counts!

Quote of the Day: Joan Peterson

Saw this and had to show the world:

Joan Big Lie

Here’s Joan’s version of the “Big Lie”, since Manchin-Toomey was presented the anti-rights lobby has been pushing hard about background checks and wanting to ban all private sales.

Its still unknown where the LA Airport shooter got his Mini-14 rifle (Photo here, hard to tell the appointments, but you can clearly see the barrel and barrel shroud which makes it VERY distinctly a Mini-14. I can’t tell if it has a collapsible stock and pistol grip, or the standard fixed stock, but the magazine looks like the Ruger 20 round box…might be pinned to 10), but he’s from New Jersey, and living in California at the time of the crime, so no matter what he was breaking a ton of laws before he even brandished the rifle.

Still remember, anti-rights people like Joan think that if we made guns as illegal as murder, nobody would be murdered with guns!

But Joan is speculating that he went to a neighboring gun-friendly state to buy his rifle since you can buy a rifle “No Questions Asked” at a “Gun Show” there.

She seems to forget GCA 68 where it is a federal crime for a private citizen to sell a firearm to a resident of another state.

Hey but just because this gun may have been illegally acquired doesn’t mean one more law that is almost identical to the one she speculates was broken wouldn’t have stopped all of this!

“Gun Death” Killer Clown

Man this is creepy!

A Wisconsin man wearing clown makeup dangled a child upside down from an overpass after coming home drunk from a Halloween party, according to officials who charged him with child abuse.

The Kenosha News reports that a woman called police after she saw 33-year-old Antonio Brown dragging two screaming children into woods in Kenosha about 2 a.m. Sunday. The 13- and 8-year-old children said Brown was their mother’s boyfriend.

And yet another “Mom’s Boyfriend” showing total disregard to the progeny of his shack-up.

And because I like crappy Sci-fi Horror movies:

Posts Will Be Comming

My desktop is COVERED with articles surrounding the shooting in LA, and I’m sure when I get a chance to there will be even more information.

Right now the topic of the day is POOP!

Little LaWeer’da had a great day today with Grand Parents. We went for a long walk together, we had food, the Mrs. and I took turns taking naps, and little baby got more than her fair share of love and adorations.

Still after the folks left she started getting fussy. A short nap and a little food seemed to make things better.

Then came some HORRIBLE sounds. It sounded a bit like a fire hose pumping tuna salad….and there was an odor. We also got a call from the San Andreas seismic institute that they had picked up a small quake measuring 0.8 coming from Massachusetts and wondered if my instruments picked it up too.

Once some time had passed to make sure there weren’t any aftershocks the little lady began phoning the Casa Weer’d complaints department noting that SOMETHING needed to be done, and soon.

I smartly called the wife and had her fly shotgun on this mission.

As I opened her jammies I noticed there was a brown stain…just above her belly button. As I decided a costume change was in need I noticed there was another stain on the knee of said jammies.

With clothes removed the diaper was structurally intact and secure….and filled to 120% capacity. Thankfully the cleanup wasn’t too bad, and now things are back to a relative norm. But those clothes are currently being soaked in a bucket of warm soapy water, and little Miss has an appointment with the dreaded tub!

I’m off to do more errands, but again more blogging in the near future!

“Gun Death” Brawl

An all-out brawl. But no guns were used:

Martin was apparently nearby and saw Atkinson arrive at his girlfriend’s home, investigator Charlie Gray testified this morning, citing witness interviews. An axe handle-wielding Martin confronted Atkinson, who walked back to his car.

Gray said Martin followed him and apparently hit Atkinson with the club. Atkinson absorbed the blow then rushed Martin. As they scuffled Martin yelled for help and King, who lived nearby, rushed out and joined the fray.

King got on Atkinson’s back, while Atkinson was on the ground and choked him for two to three minutes, Gray said, citing King’s police interview. The two men then left and Atkinson was transported to Huntsville Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

This is the Utopia that the “Gun Death” Zealots want for us all. Sounds “Peaceful” doesn’t it?
