Obama Phones Exposed

Just what you’d expect.

A Republican senator renewed his criticism of a government-backed program that hands out cell phones after an undercover video showed vendors helping people obtain the phones even after saying they wanted to sell them for drugs and other items.

The video was released by conservative activist James O’Keefe and his group Project Veritas. It claimed to show undercover investigators visiting Philadelphia locations for phone vendor Stand Up Wireless and locations for one other company.

The video is here:

These social programs are nothing but vote-buying bribery. Bribery in itself is pretty bad…it really goes over the edge when its OUR MONEY!

Criminals Deserve Some Credit

They aren’t the smartest people…if they were they’d get a job. But they’re also not completely obtuse.

Crime in an Oregon county has reportedly gotten so bad that residents are vowing to protect themselves on so-called “Glock blocks” instead of awaiting authorities to respond.

KOIN.com reports that Coy Tolonen, who lives in unincorporated Clackamas County, and a group of Jennings Lodge residents are responding to escalating crime in their neighborhood by posting fliers that read: “This is a Glock block. We don’t call 911.”

“We’re starting a new group,” Tolonen said. “We don’t feel neighborhood watch is sufficient, and we don’t feel the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is sufficient.”

Oregon has been cutting their police forces like crazy with the economy in the dumps, so people have had to make do.

There’s some talk in the article about this being used against petty crime…still at the time this is just talk. Further how do you think petty criminals will react to this? Growing up in Maine, I have no idea if this is true, but it was always said that if you messed with lobster gear the lobsterman who owns that gear would murder you. Anything from taking lobsters from a trap, to stealing buoys. Petty shit, but death was the alleged punishment. This of course was murder and a serious crime for the lobsterman, but guess what kids did when they found a lobster trap washed up on shore?

Good for them!

“Gun Death” School Bus

Man, another school bus death?

As his mother watched in horror, Haven Lee Norton screamed as a school bus rolled over him Monday morning.

“Then he went silent,” said Shannon Norton, Haven’s mother.

The driver of the Springtown school district bus didn’t hear her son as she drove over him, killing the 10-year-old, Shannon Norton said.

She told her son to cross in front of the bus, as he did every morning, while the lights were flashing and another child was getting on the bus, she said.

“I saw him slip,” Norton said. “He hollered, but [the bus] started rolling and [the driver] had taken her foot off the brake. He tried to get out of the way. He hollered, and I hollered.”

All the Precautions taken, yet still there was a death. Accidents happen. Of course when accidents happen with guns its a “Gun Death” and we should ban guns…what happens when its a school bus?

This is Seriously West Virginia?

Really??

A West Virginia eighth-grader who was suspended from school for refusing to change his National Rifle Association T-shirt faces up to one year in jail and a $500 fine after being formally charged with obstructing an officer.

Jared Marcum, 14, appeared before a judge Monday and was hit with formal charges that carry a maximum $500 fine and up to a year in jail. The Logan County Police Department initially claimed that Marcum was arrested April 18 for disturbing the education process and obstructing an officer. His father said that officers even went as far as threatening to charge Jared with making terror threats.

“In my view of the facts, Jared didn’t do anything wrong,” Ben White, Jared’s attorney told WTRF. “I think officer Adkins could have done something differently.”

Arresting officer James Adkins claimed that Marcum’s refusal to talk obstructed his ability to do his job, while White argued that Adkins never made reference to any violent acts or threats in his petition.

He was silent!!!

This adds on to this story which has me spitting mad!

In a 5-4 decision the Supreme Court ruled today that a potential defendant’s silence can be used against him if he is being interviewed by police but is not arrested (and read his Miranda rights) and has not verbally invoked the protection of the Fifth Amendment.

So your fucking RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT can only be used if you SPEAK OUT THAT YOU ARE REMAINING SILENT UNDER THE LAW???????

How in blue fuck do courts come to these decisions? This makes me wonder if in fact we aren’t living in total Anarchy with a veneer of lawful society painted over it.

The law means NOTHING….great!

“Gun Death” Deadly Gas

This is an imaginative one.

A Washington State University graduate student, accused of attempting to murder his wife at their home in Uniontown, appeared in a Whitman County courtroom where he pleaded not guilty Friday morning.

Jacob Forster, 32, was arrested on April 30th after he allegedly attempted to poison his wife by placing a box over her head that had a hose attached to a nitrogen gas tank.

Wow, that’s a LOT of thought for an unsuccessful murder. Of course those who use the metric of “Gun Death” might say that if he had used a gun he’d DEFINITELY have killed his wife. Of course if he had used a knife or a club his results likely would have been the same.

But hey, guns are different…because they are different!

Some days you’re the bat, others you’re the balls.

Today was the latter.

I’m off to bed!

Even Canadians Get it!

If you want to get a gun you should have the sense to become competent in that gun. If that’s through training with knowledgeable friends or taking a professional classes that’s your choice.

In the end poor choices leads to lengthy prison stays and that’s MORE than enough government regulation.

“Gun Death” Skateboards

They were VERY popular in the 80s…seems they’re making a comeback!

Southern California authorities say four youngsters could be charged with attempted murder after they beat and critically injured a man with their skateboards.

The Orange County Register says it happened Friday night after a woman bystander tried to break up a fight between two groups at a Huntington Beach skate park.

Hey, no guns, so common street punks aren’t ANYTHING to worry about!

Thinking is Even Hard For Them

Just found this image and I was rather amused.

I see nothing wrong with having a shotgun, a pistol, and a rifle for your personal protection guns. My personal setup is a S&W1911 pistol, a Mossberg 590, and an FAL. Some may go the Glock 19, Saiga 12, and AR-15 route, some may go S&W Model 10, Winchester M12, and M1 Garand.

That’s what I’m most amused, is that somehow they’re claiming that there’s something ELSE out there we’re debating. Like maybe a so-called “Assault Rifle” is different than a rifle.

Don’t know my sporting bolt guns very well, that looks like it might be a Winchester Model 70…..note with a weaver rail for a scope…but no scope so the gun cannot be fired accurately in its configuration. Also there’s some sort of over-under skeet gun for the shotgun. Hat tip to Joe Biden with that one. Maybe the author of the image thinks we should violate rule #4 of gun safety and shoot through doors and fire into the air.

And last is some variant of the CZ 75….which has a standard capacity of 15 rounds in its magazine. As in it was restricted by the 1994 “Assault Weapons Ban”.

I went and tracked the author’s facebook page down, and in the comment section its pretty clear he doesn’t care about facts, or accuracy, just propaganda.
