Wow, what a lame reason to die!
A stuntman died yesterday during a world record attempt as he tried to cross a river on a zip-wire attached only to his hair.
Sailendra Nath Roy, 50, was half way through the stunt when his ponytail became stuck in the wheeler of the rope and he was left hanging in mid-air for about 25 minutes.
Despite desperate attempts to free himself, it is believed Mr Roy then suffered a major cardiac arrest and died.
Sad…

This is one of those dichotomies they WISH was true. Like more than ANYTHING else!
Of course can you name a single mass-shooter who was a right-wing media fanatic? Hell there’s been a pretty good debate that most of these psychopaths have been left-wing in their ideology…still the truth is they’re just simply crazy and are neither of the left, or the Right, and were outcasts of both.
Jason added this tagline:
Right-wing hate radio has real-life effects on the irrational
Who’s the rational one here? Brings to mind the Anti-Rights push on “Outing” and harassing bloggers (Myself included in this push). I have little doubt due to the constant repetition of this lie that lawful gun owners and 2nd Amendment activists are violent reactionaries, that this was the attempt at kicking a hornet’s nest to spur a violent outburst.
Of course it got nothing, because they were WRONG.
Oh well, they can still hope until they are blue in the face!
Really amazing!
Note the demand to waive their 1st Amendment rights to get tax exemption! Anti-Freedom, not anti-gun!
I’d imbed this last one, but it seems to to autoplay, so click here and scroll to the bottom of the page to watch it. It is by FAR the most compelling. Jim McDermott (D-WA….go figure!) is claiming that conservative groups INVITED this harassment by requesting tax exemption. Paul Ryan slaps it out of the park by noting that if that was true there would be “Progressive” groups giving testimony as well.
As somebody who follows the anti-rights “Progressive” lobby groups, I note that most of them have tax exempt status, and obviously have NEVER had to submit to this level of scrutiny, and certainly frequently “violate” terms the IRS is currently claiming are law.
This is really a common tier in the left. They argue from emotions and zealotry, and when others step forward with truth and facts, they can’t compete….well they can’t compete if government agencies don’t squash them and raid their funds.
Really amazing!
Funny how these cases keep lining up:
Congressman Joe Garcia’s chief of staff abruptly resigned Friday after being implicated in a sophisticated scheme to manipulate last year’s primary elections by submitting hundreds of fraudulent absentee-ballot requests.
Friday afternoon, Garcia said he had asked Jeffrey Garcia, no relation, for his resignation after the chief of staff — also the congressman’s top political strategist — took responsibility for the plot. Hours earlier, law enforcement investigators raided the homes of another of Joe Garcia’s employees and a former campaign aide in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation into the matter…. Jeffrey Garcia, 40, declined to comment. He also worked last year on the campaign of Democrat Patrick Murphy of Jupiter, who unseated tea-party Republican congressman Allen West. Murphy has not been implicated in the phantom-requests operation.
The Miami-Dade state attorney’s office, seeking electronic equipment such as computers, served search warrants Friday at the homes of Giancarlo Sopo, 30, Joe Garcia’s communications director; and John Estes, 26, his 2012 campaign manager. Neither Estes nor Sopo responded to requests for comment.
So far the identified fraud attempts were JUST attempted. Still with all the criminal voting activity going on the side of the Democrats from ACORN to today, and beyond to places like Chicago where the dead vote every year, I’m sure this is just the surface.
Any wonder why the Democrats oppose a simple photo ID to vote?
A baby and a toddler were found dead after their mother put them both in the shower and fell asleep, an inquest heard today.
Miranda Hebble, who was 22 at the time of the tragedy, left her sons Lochlan and Malachi Stevens in the steam-filled bathroom at their house in Perth, Australia, for ten hours after she passed out….Lochlan had smeared faeces from his nappy on floors, walls and the baby’s cot, spurring her to put the boys in the shower to clean them up.
She left to fetch something, closing the bathroom door behind her, but fell asleep before she could return, the inquest was told.
Really sad, but this was not the first incident:
The court also heard of a previous incident when Ms Hebble had left Malachi in a car while visiting a shop and the baby had to be pulled hot, crying and red in the face from the vehicle by police.
Ms Hebble told officers she had left him there because she was so exhausted she feared she might drop him if she tried to carry him, Miss Ellson said.
Seems like she was too tired to mother pretty often. The obvious solution is to ban guns!

Who do you call when the Environmental Protection Agency is an Environmental hazard?
A government agency’s watchdog says a storage warehouse rented by the Environmental Protection Agency in suburban Washington for $750,000 was tainted with rodent feces, mold and other problems.
The EPA inspector general’s report released Monday also found that contract workers charged with protecting the warehouse and its contents were using government-owned exercise equipment and watching television in “hidden personal spaces” outside the range of security cameras.
The IG said that “deplorable conditions” at the 70,000-square-foot warehouse in Landover, Md., raised concerns about the EPA’s lack of oversight of storage space. No one at EPA had visited the facility, and some contents — such as employee passports — could have been stolen.
“Tainted” could mean a lot of things…but given that the EPA seems to have little concern or oversight over property in their control, it could be anything from “minor” to “Put on your respirators and poopy-suits boys!”
And nice to know the contractors were exercising and lounging in potentially hazardous conditions. Of course if any of these workers gets so much as a chest cold, guess who they’ll sue, and guess who will pay for that!
