“Gun Death” Not Worth Killing For…

Now those who use the metric of “Gun Death” most often also tell those of us who lawfully own and carry guns that “Your Things Aren’t Worth Killing For”. They have a point. I can buy a new TV. The cash in my Wallet has many brothers and sisters in the bank. I can even get a new car (tho my insurance sure better cover that shit!)

Still they ignore things like hate crime and sexual assault, where the desired thing is NOT replaceable. Also they ignore cases like this:

A man was charged late Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of another man in a fight over a bag of Cheetos on Tuesday night in downtown St. Louis, police say.

David L. Scott, 49, was charged today with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Authorities say he argued with 42-year-old Roger Wilkes over the Cheetos and stabbed him once in the chest with a knife about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Washington Avenue.

Wilkes died later at a hospital.

Isn’t a bag of cheetos not worth killing for? Even a hobo can scare up a buck or two for another bag…maybe not right that moment, but the same goes for me if my TV or Wallet gets snatched. So why didn’t he listen to that advise?

Again some people are monsters, and their behavior can’t be viewed as rational. Somebody says they’ll harm me if I don’t hand over my wallet…they are simply saying they intend to harm me. The wallet or other items are irrelevant in that negotiation, as they have showed motive and opportunity to do harm, no matter what goods are exchanged, that has not changed.

Of course in “Gun Death” paradise, it means the good person will be defenseless, and probably soon bleeding out.

This is what they want for us!

Big Bird and the Welfare State

So Barry-O is running this ad:

Obama claims that Romney wanting to cut federal funding to PBS would kill Big Bird. Only one needs to look around to see the reality. Stores are FILLED with Sesame Street merch. Tickle Me Elmo caused riots and people being trampled at stores when it was first released. The show is available on Netflix, and DVDs can be had at retail stores.

Sesame street is EXACTLY what’s wrong with the Welfare System. It is massive, it is profitable, and yet it still collects from the public troughs. Really Sesame Street getting public funds is much closer to this than anything else.

Big Bird is collecting food stamps from his Limo!

A Nice Double Standard

Have a look at these two Brady posts. First a recent one on the lawsuit against MKS and Hi-Point for the actions of a straw buyer.

In a landmark decision, a New York appeals court unanimously held that a gun manufacturer, distributor and dealer could be held liable for supplying a gun trafficking ring with 181 Saturday Night Special handguns, one of which was used to shoot Daniel Williams, then a high school basketball star in Buffalo…The Brady Center’s Jonathan Lowy, who argued the appeal, said, “This important ruling states that gun companies who choose to supply the criminal gun market are not above the law. When the gun industry place profits over people, they should and must be held accountable to the innocent victims of their dangerous practices.”

Now this:

. Weak U.S. gun laws are facilitating gun trafficking to Mexico.
From 2007 to 2011, more than 68,000 crime guns have been recovered in Mexico and traced back to the United States (2007 to 2011)…House Republicans are actively blocking the Obama Administration’s efforts catch gun traffickers. The House twice has voted to block continued implementation of the Administration’s regulatory requirement that multiple sales of certain semi-automatic rifles in the border states be promptly reported to ATF to give the law enforcers real-time notice of the suspicious gun sales that are feeding the drug cartels.

In all of that they fail to mention that the ATF WAS THE TRAFFICKER! I suspect the Brady Campaign as well as the other members of the anti-gun lobby should be sued in their involvement is covering for these deadly crimes.

Honestly it just sounds like a lousy dealer, and an evil criminal. Of course the Anti-Rights cult never thinks that’s enough, because their end goal is ALWAYS to disarm the lawful.

“Gun Death” Car

More Cars Committing Murder!

The Department of Public Safety is investigating a possible homicide regarding a pedestrian-vehicle crash south of Barnhart in Crockett County Saturday. A Weatherford man was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Shawn Baxter, DPS spokesperson, 27-year-old James Wesley Sherrer and 31-year-old John Candelario Sepulveda were in an argument at Linthicum Ranch.

Sepulveda began to walk away when Sherrer got into his truck and struck Sepulveda with the vehicle, Baxter said. It is unclear where Sherrer is from.

Vehicles being used for murder weapons! Were are the “Common Sense” controls?

Oh yeah, this isn’t a “Gun Death” so this doesn’t count!

Funny How That Works

Joan Peterson posted this story on her twitter

This was after sitting in two hours of traffic from the deadly truck accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. It was definitely one of the scariest moments of my life. The best part is, I didn’t do anything to warrant this behavior. The man driving in the SUV decided that pointing a gun at me would be a better way to ask me if he cut could in front of me instead of simply asking.

Odd, to have a gun in your car accessible to you, you need a New Jersey Carry permit, which is virtually impossible.

Good thing New Jersey has such tight gun control laws…otherwise this thing that happened might have happened…or something!

Flaw or Feature

You gotta wonder if this will backfire.

Maine Republicans have created a webpage revealing that Democrat candidate Colleen Lachowicz plays an orc rogue in World of Warcraft (WoW).

Ms Lachowicz’s liking for back-stabbing and poison in WoW raise questions about her “fitness for office”, they claim.

Ms Lachowicz has hit back saying the attack showed the Republicans were “out of touch”.

I WOW is one of the most popular games out there today. There are lots of hobbies that politicians brag about, the biggest is hunting. They want to align themselves with the everyman. How much more mainstream do you get than playing WOW? Also this is obviously not a political stunt like John Kerry’s ill-fated goose hunt . Kerry dressed in some shiny-new hunting dudes and went out for a walk in a swamp, and made sure cameras were rolling. An Orc Rogue is hardly the class some political schemer would come up with.

Hilarity!

I Think You Ruined It

I think I’ve seen this picture before, but Wallphone sent it to me

Its actually on the VZ-61 wiki page. The Skorpion was designed to be a VERY small SMG that could be used as a carbine or as a pistol for Military and Police that might work in tight confines, like an armored car guard or a tanker.

This small size makes up for the fact that the Skorpion variants are in small calibers. The one in the photo is in 9×18 ( you can tell by the straight magazine) but most are in 7.65×17 Browning (AKA .32 ACP). Once you add all that crap to the gun, it really goes from neat, to silly awful fast!

“Gun Death” Frenzy

This is just beyond horrible.

A 6-year-old boy whose throat was slashed by an intruder high on PCP-laced marijuana was killed trying to save his sister, coming to her aid as she was being assaulted on the floor, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Osvaldo Rivera, who is charged in Sunday’s middle-of-the-night attack, sobbed during an appearance Tuesday in court in which bail was set at $5 million.

They say the assault on the girl was sexual in nature as well. So we have a sexual assault, illegal drug use, and a murdered child. BTW in Camden New Jersey which has some of the nation’s highest “Gun Death” as well as gun laws.

Still this case, there were no guns. There were no gun deaths….there is no concern from the anti-rights people.

Sad
