Why would ANYBODY have scissors?

A woman accused of stabbing her 6-year-old daughter to death with scissors told police she had been taking a weight-loss product, had trouble sleeping for several days and felt an “evil” presence before the attack.

“Did I kill my daughter? Is she dead?'” Danielle Yvonne Slaughter asked police after police found her on Sunday, naked, bloody and running barefoot through Las Vegas, according to court documents released Tuesday.

Sick story…hey but no “Gun Death”. People who use that metric seem to think that makes a difference….I don’t think it does. What do you think?

Another Domestic situation that ends in “Gun Death”.

The 25-year-old woman who was fatally stabbed and found Monday outside a Grace Avenue home has been identified as Danielle Coleman, of Oakwood.

Police continue to look for her boyfriend, 41-year-old Marlon Ricks, who lived at the house in the 10000 block of Grace.

He is believed to be armed and dangerous and may be driving a maroon, 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer with license plate DFJ 4455, police said.

If you are in a violent relationship, GET OUT! Eventually it’ll end in somebody’s death if you don’t cut all ties. It doesn’t matter if somebody is armed with guns, or if they have frying pan. If your boyfriend hits you, look in your kitchen. He can stab you whenever he feels like he ups the ante. Same goes if your old lady goes off her rocker and gets violent. She may think her hands and feet don’t do enough damage and attempt to scramble your brains with a cast iron skillet or put a framing hammer between your eyes.

There is NO good reason to stay with a violent domestic partner. If you have kids, you’ll eventually have orphans. If you think they love you, they DON’T Love doesn’t generate black eyes or cigarette burns.

Interesting story. What I find most interesting is not the METHOD of the death but the motivation.

Sri Lankan police say a man has died while trying to set a world record for the longest time spent buried alive.

Police say the 24-year-old man (Janaka Basnayake) buried himself Saturday morning with the help of family and friends in a trench sealed with wood and soil.

A local newspaper says the trench was 10 feet deep.

Police say when the man was brought to the surface 7 1/2 hours later, he was unconscious and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

It’s unclear whether there is an official world record for the longest time buried alive.

That last line is REALLY macabre!

Note that if this guy had tried to set a world record for “Most times shot with a gun, and survived”, it would be a gun death and they’d consider a candlelight vigil. Meanwhile you asphyxiate under the soil….

Belgian newspapers are reporting that a mosque near Brussels has been attacked with a Molotov cocktail and that the imam has died.

Le Soir newspaper says a man entered a Shiite mosque in Anderlecht, a suburb of Brussels, shortly before 7 p.m. local time (1 p.m. EST) on Monday armed with an ax, Molotov cocktails and a can of gasoline. The newspaper reports that the man broke windows and threw the incendiary devices inside.

Gasoline, bottles and textiles. Yep we all have that stuff. You can get fancy by using cat litter, motor oil, or sugar as a gelling agent to make it a little more nasty. We may not all have axes, but every hardware camping store has your choice of axes.

In Belgium that bans guns, knives, and any sort of liberty.

No law can stop such atrocities.
