Weer'd World

Saw this on my morning commute, and decided to snap a picture:

First up, this photo was taken in the belly of the beast, Central Square Cambridge Mass, I left one of the Deval Patrick volunteers in the upper Right. So let’s look at this fool going counter-clockwise starting at the lower left of the bumper. There’s an Obama bumper sticker. This is a Primary-era sticker as it doesn’t have Joe Biden’s name attached to it. On the Right side of the bumper is a “Got Hope?” sticker. So this person is STILL in the tank for Obama, even though I have full confidence this person’s sacred cows have been gored, as Obama has thrown EVERYBODY under the bus.

So above the “Got Hope?” we see that this vehicle is a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. So you have a big status-symbol truck, but with a gas-electric hybrid powertrain, so the greenies like it, despite it getting HORRIBLE gas mileage, and the added environmental impact of the nasty chemicals those batteries are filled with nasty chemicals.

And last beside the Hybrid badge…you can see the back door keys hanging from the lock.

Yep, this is a typical Obama Voter!

We got to the polls RIGHT when they opened (as in as we were walking to the end of the line they unlocked the doors and started letting people in), the line went around the building, inside the polls were more crowded than I’d ever seen, and there was still a line going out of the building. This is hands down one of the biggest turnouts I’ve seen in my town, and probably one of the biggest turnouts I’ve EVER seen. Can’t wait to see the results!

In other news, while driving past Harvard University I saw a beer truck that had somehow managed to dump its contents onto the road. The truck cab looked fine, and the truck was on all four wheels, but the box in back was all torn up, and there was close to a dozen cops out there cleaning up glass and skunky beer. I could smell the beer for close to a mile. I’ll keep my eyes on the paper to see if I can get a story about it.
