Of course, this video will reach nobody but the choir. America has spoken. Obama is Santa Claus.
You friggin’ go Grrlz!
(and see where you end up)
I’ve already seen people have the problem of not being able to find a GP because of Medicaid. It’s not going to get better.
We have foster kids (by definition on the state Medicaid program) and we can’t get them in to see our kids’ regular doctor (not accepting new patients, especially not new Medicaid patients). We have to go to another clinic across town that has room and takes Medicaid. The “new” place is crowded, run-down, lacks personalized anything, and the quality of care is sh!t. We’re rushed through so they can get to the next number.
This is what it will be like for everyone that doesn’t (or worse yet, CAN’T) keep their current coverage and GP. I wonder what will happen to the kids who grow out of needing a pediatrician into a GP, but can’t find one that’s taking new patients, Medicaid or not.
And don’t get me started on the lack of new clinics and practices. Federal regulations will label established Medicaid-accepting clinics as “too big to be allowed to fail”, which means any new private practice will be “too small to be allowed to succeed”.
“FORWARD”, indeed.
