Day Care: Dry Run

So this is my last week of Paternity Leave. We decided to put LaWeer’da into day care in a more-or-less “normal” schedule to shake-down any issues while I’m still at home and can swoop in if help is needed.

Dropped her off and she was really excited, lots of other babies for her to look at, and new toys and people. She didn’t even notice me leaving.

First day of School

I on the other hand am NOT doing as well, but I’ll live.

Big day….

Have a beer. She’ll be fine.

I remember it well, my friend. She’ll survive; she’ll do great, and so will you. It’s hard letting go, but we’ve got to do it some time.

Just wait until the first time you put her on the school bus.

Or the first time she heads off on her own on her bicycle.

    Or the first date…

    You’re welcome…

Y’know, they say that Boppies are NOT to be used as pillows or props, but they just work so Gosh-darned well for that! My daughter still sleeps with hers, and she’s six!

LaWeerd’a will live. You will, too. Enjoy it as long as you can. 🙂
