Some Culinary Devil Magic

The Mrs. Made this for a crock pot pot luck (many puns were had with that party idea) over at Casa De Vector.

S’More Fondue. We were dunking anything available into this stuff! We started with graham crackers, marshmallows, angle food cake, and granola bars. We later were dunking girl scout cookies and oreos.

Seriously, my pancreas wrote me a strongly worded note against my behavior that day. I haven’t asked Vector what the leftovers did. I’m wondering if it hardens into fudge.

Also the next time we try it, I’d like to see if we can drop in at least one bar of dark chocolate to get a bit more bitterness to it.

Highly Recommended!

Damn Weerd, that looks like a diabetic coma waiting to happen. Yikes.

On the other hand, I made a lasagna the other night in a crock pot. Our oven is on the fritz so I had to improvise. Other than the top cheese just being melted rather than crispy/brown, it came out just dandy. Next time I’ll add more garlic and some turkey sausage. The recipe came from here:

The cold stuff is awesome too, just harder to spread on a cracker. It thickens a lot, but doesn’t completely solidify. It’s definitely harder than a fudge consistency. However, 15 seconds in the microwave returns it to its former glory. It’s incredible. Thanks for leaving it with us 😀
