“Gun Death” Shovel

Why would anybody own a shovel if not to kill?

According to the sheriff’s department, Lynn and others had gone to Bolden’s home on Sunday morning to help her with repairs to her home, not as volunteers, but to be paid by her.

They left her home around noon. Sometime after noon, the sheriff’s department says Lynn returned to her home alone, assaulted her with a shovel leaving her unconscious in her front yard. Lynn is accused of stealing money from Bolden and fleeing from the home on foot.

“Gun Death” is irrelevant because its the PERSON that is dangerous, not the tool. I know lots of people who carry a gun every day and commit no crimes, yet one monster with a shovel can do so much harm. Does it matter that shovels are made for digging and not for killing?

Less than $10 is believed to have been stolen from Bolden, which is also what detectives believe was the motive.

Can you read that and think that somehow restricting guns, but leaving monsters like this roaming free will make us safer?
