Just heard this story.

In the thick of the negotiations, [Senate Majority Leader Harry] Reid…recalled the days when deal makers could bridge the partisan divide. He visited Ted Kennedy’s grave in Arlington National Cemetery with former Sen. Chris Dodd. Dodd poured some whiskey on Kennedy’s grave while Reid recited a prayer

No word if either of the Senators drove a Oldsmobile off a bridge, or sexually assaulted a waitress…

Let us all hope that the whiskey won’t cause Zombie Kennedy to arise from his grave.

  2. Oh I love the whole “poured whiskey on his grave” bit. It is so endearing. Nevermind that Dodd just found a way to enable alcoholism past the devide of life and death, but it also conjured up the “One for me, one for my homies” quote. I’ll cite Dr. Evil just to avoid giving credit to some rapper/gang member.

It’s the little things in life.

Well Dodd has a little problem with the drinky-drink as well. He and Teddy used to get shitfaced in various tap rooms in DC and play a game called “Waitress Sandwich”.

Google it. Needless to say Dodd and Fat-Teddy essentially invented the TSA.
