Talk of Voter Fraud

Bubblehead Les dug up this interesting article.

The largest civil rights group in America, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), is petitioning the UN over what it sees as a concerted efforted to disenfranchise black and Latino voters ahead of next year’s presidential election.

I’m kinda curious what recent “Civil Rights” actions the NAACP has taken. Really they’ve become a front group for the DNC and they seem to be mostly motivated to keep “Colored People” down and dependent on government and groups like the NAACP. Still the story is filled with pointless hand-wringing, but finally they start talking details:

Four states – Florida, Iowa, Kentucky and Virginia – continue to withhold the vote from anyone convicted of a criminal offence. In Florida, offenders who have completed their sentences have to wait at least five years before they can even apply to restore their right to register to vote.

Across the US, more than 5 million Americans are denied the right to vote on grounds that they were convicted of a felony, 4 million of whom have fully completed their sentence and almost half of whom are black or Hispanic.

Other measures have reduced the ease of early voting, a convenience that is disproportionately heavily used by African-Americans. Even more importantly, 34 states have introduced a requirement that voters carry photo ID cards on the day of the election itself.

As far as the felony thing goes, I have mixed feelings. Certainly incarcerated prisoners shouldn’t be able to vote. Prison is a place where freedom is LOST in penance for crimes committed, all of the major freedoms (including the right to life) can be forfeit for the duration of the sentence, I don’t see why voting is any different. That being said, if somebody is released but somehow demonstrated to be unable to have their rights restored (which would include things like voting and the right to bear arms) maybe we should think again about letting them out free?

Still since when did being a felon become a “Minority issue”? I thought us crackers could get convicted too!

Oh yeah, they’re discussing how Blacks and Hispanics account for a large percentage of our prison population. Hey NAACP, why don’t you fix THAT first before you do anything else! That’s a big problem and its not good for the people, or society as a whole. And I don’t want to hear any bullshit about racist police and judges. When I see a successful athlete, artist, or actor still pretending to be slinging crack and soldering hits on rival gangs, and I see all the cultural glorification of the gang lifestyle, something tells me you don’t need racist cops and judges for there to be MASSIVE issues in those communities. Also when I hear about inner city youth being discouraged from getting higher education, or dressing professional for work, you’re really asking for slinging crack and running illegal guns, and becoming a prison bitch to be the key trades in those communities.

Clean that shit up first before you start pointing fingers at colorblind laws!

As for the Voter ID, you can see more propaganda here.

Really Debbie? Asking for a Photo ID is a Republican plot to keep the Blacks from voting?

First up, I’ll point out that anti-freedom assholes like Debbie don’t seem to have much of an issue of me showing a photo ID to exercise my constitutional rights to keep and bear arms (even in my own home)…and of course the many of us who need to have a photo ID to carry concealed. Also there is that whole TSA nonsense. Also last I checked a photo ID is required to hold most JOBS, given that they’ll need your information for payroll taxes et al.

Also lest we forget the underworld branch of the Democrat Party: ACORN!

Besides aiding and abetting admitted criminals they were paying workers to produce fraudulent voter registrations.

One Liberal I was discussing the issue with when the story broke. He pointed out that while in poor form, what harm was actually being committed given that there weren’t any actual “Donald Ducks” and “Mickey Mouse” living in the various cities were ACORN was breaking the law.

Except places like Massachusetts where I need a photo ID to buy, own, or carry a gun, but not to vote. I could indeed register under my real name, and also under, say “Thomas Collins”. I could give my address as my favorite Pizza Parlor. Who’s going to check? Or I could give my own house. Who’s to say I haven’t taken on a roommate that just-so-happens to be named after a famous gin drink? It would be easier if I chose different polling precincts, but even if I went once in the morning and once in the evening (maybe once on my lunch brake) I could probably not see any of the same faces running the registration books.

I’m not sure how often it happens, but we all know it does. Still if you blow enough smoke up our collective asses maybe we won’t see the man behind the curtain?

Your comparison of when showing ID is “good” and when it is “bad” does unmask alot of the NAACP. Especially, as I beleive that group is also very anti-gun and supports the idea that “urban” areas need stricter gun laws.

Also I hope to hear more of Mr. Collins’s adventures.

LOL! Saddly the best example of using a false name is checking in to a Hotel….sadly every hotel I’ve checked into requires a picture ID and a major credit card so Mr. Thomas Collins can’t check in. (BTW my Allergist office requires everybody to recite full name and date of birth before getting an injection just to confirm you’re getting the right goop…I have introduced myself at “Tom Collins” and stated my Birth date often in the 1920s. Always a wise-ass! 8)

Still I guess the take-away is that hotels are racist!

This whole shame is just an effort by the Demacommies to achieve their long term goal: No Proof Necessary to Vote. This in turn would allow them to get Illegal Aliens, ACORN registered Voters, etc. to stuff the Ballot Boxes. This, in turn, would allow them to gain control of the various State Legislatures, besides the Presidency and the White House. THEN the next SCOTUS Seat Opening can be filled by an UberLiberal. 5-4 Commie Majority in SCOTUS, majorities on Capital Hill, White House and State Capitals allows Constitutional Amendments to be passed, all with the help of a Bunch of “John Doe” Voters.

    Can you say “President-for-Life?”

” I thought us crackers could get convicted too!”

    And you would be wrong.

You may remember back in the nineties, a white football player was accused of stabbing to death his black ex-wife and her Muslim boyfriend. The jury was mostly white, and groups of angry white militiamen were threatening to invade and destroy Los Angeles. With no more evidence than a sock that didn’t fit, “Apple Juice” Sampson was found not guilty, proving once again that white people are above the law.

  4. McThag says:

Rest assured, they will be all for showing photo ID the second the lax voter registration requirements begin to benefit a Republican candidate.

  5. Joe in PNG says:

I get the idea sometimes that the Democrats miss the old “Gangs of New York” days where a fellow could vote 4 or more times…

  6. Cargosquid says:

Heck, they STILL vote in New Orleans 4 or 5 times…….
