This made me smile
At the New England College Convention on Thursday afternoon in Concord, N.H., the former Pennsylvania senator and darling of Tuesday’ Iowa caucuses was met with a hostile reception from students who didn’t appreciate his absolutist views against legalizing gay marriage.
Now I have no idea how representative that crowd is to the populous of New Hampshire, nor the Primary voters, but New Hampshire is one of the few states that allows Gays to marry by popular vote rather than questionably legal Judicial Bench Legislation.

Really the sad state of affairs is this election appears to be picking between the candidate that hates the Gays, or the Candidate that hates the Jews, or the Candidate that hates the American Way of Life.
And depending on how the polls roll it could be combinations of all of those in each!
We need to PURGE this crap from American Politics. We should know better by now!
We’re not going to get whom/what we want. I told Silver yesterday that I wish we could play Dr. Frankenstein with the candidates and pick the parts we like from each one and cobble ’em together to make that one (semi-) perfect candidate. But reality in this case SUCKS. We’re screwed any way you look at it.
Oh yeah, I’m not looking for perfection, but I think we deserve a LOT better than “Good Enough”. I was supporting Hermon Cain, and he is FAR from perfect, and while a lot of the stories about him seemed obviously fake, I suspected he was also a bit of a cad. But he had enough points in enough places for me to give him the rubber stamp.
The rest of these jokers? I mean is it EVER OK to elect a fag-basher, or a Obama/Bush clone??
