Bill O’Reilly who’s a big-government Republican and voluntarily lives in NYC shows the typical anti-rights argument:
So all of his “facts” are wrong. The Congressman is being interviewed because he knows his facts. O’Reilly calls him a liar.
This is how anti-rights people argue. They say the sky is green, and tell you you’re a liar when you speak the truth.
Again anti-rights arguments only exist in a magical pocket dimension that does not adhere to standard facts and logic.
So that’s what I’m missing by not watching O’Reilly? Oh, drat.
My opinion of Bill just plummeted.
I’m bothered that he was misinformed and argued that he was right. If I wanted that type of shitty “reporting” I would turn on NBC.
If your opinion of O’Reilly dropped, you simply haven’t been paying attention, they guy has ALWAYS been a blowhard turd!
I occasionally agree with him (and Rush as well), but I can’t stand listening to either of them. Their ‘reporting style’ of being constantly outraged at something is just uncomfortable, I don’t know how people tune in on a regular basis without becoming a nervous wreck themselves.
This is Bill in his natural state: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_HyZ5aW76c
“FUCK IT, WE’LL DO IT LIVE!!!” Is one of my favorite go-to line when doing a live podcast!
😀
The problem is that you think that O’Reilly is a journalist there to report things. He is an entertainer that makes his money creating contraversy. That’s the majority of anyone on any major network. Real journalism doesn’t pay big money.
I dunno if “Talking over guests who know more than he does” is considered “controversy”, more like a defense mechanism for a window-licker who thinks too highly of himself!
And this isn’t a gun control or conservative thing, he simply invites people over the show and MAYBE lets them get two words in if they grease them up and turn them sideways.
Howitzers? Mortars? Machine guns? ?Como que freakin’ huh? I’ve been going to the wrong gun shows.
But once again, we see how much nonsense can get packed into a short period of time. There’s too much wrong in what O’Reilly spouts to analyze it in less than an hour. The bigger question is why anyone agrees to go on his show.
