I read the linked conversation on the .25 ACP. The IT guy who carries a .25 at work (legally according to him) makes a good case that concealability for him is preferred to caliber. I guess his concern is office gossip, other unknown reputational and career problems, etc., in the event his legal on-the-job carry were generally known.
Off topic: Canadian pro-gun Kathy Shaidle writes “Only 10,000 Killed” in the 11/17/2015 Takimag (Taki’s Magazine). She references work that confirms what a lot of us suspect. Eleven American cities account for 70% of gun killings. Unlawful gun violence is highly localized.
