“Gun Death” China Mass Stabbing

The “Gun Death” Cult talks a lot about the stabbing in the Chinese school where 22 children were stabbed on the same day as the Sandy Hook Massacre because in this case the helpless victims didn’t die. Of course the article linked mentions several other rampages where that wasn’t the case. That incident was the exception that proves the rule.

Now look at this:

An attack by knife-wielding men at a train station in Kunming in south-west China, has left at least 27 dead, the state news agency Xinhua says.

Nothing is known so far about the motivation behind the attack, in which 109 people are said to have been hurt.

Xinhua gave few further details, and the men responsible have not been identified.

A local television station said several of the attackers had been shot by police, according to Associated Press.

Chinese state television described the incident as a “violent terror attack”.

27 dead, hundreds injured. This dwarfs most mass shootings in America. Even Virginia tech had more dead, but not as many wounded. And the weapon was just knives.

**UPDATE** Since this is a syndicated post and I wrote this when the news was still fresh, I will add updates to keep it current. Also thanks to all who sent this to me since I wrote it but before the post went live.

In a nation where guns were banned. You will not see this in concealed-carry America because SOMEBODY would have shot the attacker. Hell the victims vastly outnumbered the attackers, so the chances of the attackers being overcome by brute force in America is huge.

Why? Because we aren’t lulled into a false sense of safety. In America we say “Carry your guns! The Cops can’t protect everybody!” They couldn’t here. They can’t anyplace else.

But those who use the metric of “Gun Death” not only ignore this massacre, or the recent conviction of the terrorists who murdered a disarmed soldier in London, but they want to FORCE us to live in those worlds.

We don’t want to! We don’t want to be victims to monsters like this. We don’t want our schools to be soft targets. We don’t want our offices to be soft targets.

The world simply isn’t safe. This doesn’t mean we should live in fear. Still in a world where we safely drive miles every day, the populous calls you a fool for not wearing your safety belt, yet there is a segment that tells us not only to NOT carry a gun, but want it to be a CRIME to do so.

Not on my watch!

**UPDATE ** First Thanks to all who submitted this story after I’ve written it. Second It now appears 29 people have died, 130 were injured and many more are still fighting for their lives, and again this attack is linked to Muslim extremists.

An Ironically Gun-Free Zone

So much wrong here:

It may have been as easy as using the key. New details as Memphis Police investigate nine rifles that were stolen from a Cordova Walmart.

…A Memphis Police spokeswoman says two rifles were stolen on January 27th. On February 11th, seven more rifles worth a total of $6,400 were stolen.

…According to a police report, a manager told officers that the gun case was new and the keys were stuck to the back of the gun case.

Not only was their “Security” only slightly better than nothing, but Walmart is a “Gun Free Zone” in all effects. Yes they have lots of guns, ammo, and magazines there, but per gun-control zealot “Safety”, those items are all stored in separate locked containers.

Every independent gun shop I’ve ever shopped in most of the employees were armed. Not only is this good for security, but its good for business. I was once at the counter and a man was talking with the clerk about buying a 1911, but was concerned about concealing the gun for carry. I simply pulled back my coat and noted that mine concealed just fine. The clerk pulled back his and showed a Glock 21 in the same Galco holster as I was wearing. After a bit more talk about body type and clothing (he was also wearing a button-up shirt like us, and was about our body size) and noting that the big Glock was actually bigger in overall dimensions as the commander 1911, the sale was made. It also helps sell guns when shoppers see people carrying the very gun they’re thinking of buying.

But as for security, the only time I’d shoot a fleeing person in the back who poses no direct threat to me, is one who is attempting to steal a gun. It may be a little grey on the legal side, but my assumption is that a gun that is stolen is very likely to be going into “Criminal Hands”, and those criminals being the type of people who murder people. So while the fleeing suspect is not posing a direct threat at the time, if they escape with the gun the chances of somebody being murdered with that gun are amazingly high.

The same can be said about these shoddily secured guns.

The Tyranny of Gun Control

Uncle links this story about a judge tossing the arbitrary limit of 7 rounds in legal 10-round magazines in New York under SAFE.

That’s a small step towards good, but I wanted to cite one quote from that article:

Wojdan, 26, of Parkwood Drive, Lockport, wasn’t all that happy after court, despite the dismissal of the criminal charge, because he won’t immediately get all his firearms back.

After Wojdan’s arrest, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies confiscated five other guns listed on his pistol permit, which also covered the Ruger.

“What does he gain keeping my guns?” Wojdan stormed as attorney James D. Tresmond tried to calm him. “I should have them back right now.”

Tresmond said he will file a motion before Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III for the return of the guns.

Let that sink in. He was acquitted of all criminal charges. He did nothing wrong under the law. If he were to move to a free state today he could engage in any legal activity involving firearms that somebody who has NEVER had any interaction with law enforcement or the judicial system could.

Yet all the guns listed on his pistol permit (most of which were at his home at the time of his arrest) were confiscated and remain in police custody.

This is the same thing with open carry in Massachusetts. Open carry is 100% legal so long as you have an LTC permit with no restrictions. Unfortunately if you get CAUGHT LEGALLY EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS here they will revoke your permit simply because they CAN.

No crimes, no legal issue, no justification.

Gun control is tyranny! And is it any surprise? Those who don’t support the 2nd Amendment don’t much care about ANY of our constitutional rights.

They are anti-freedom, not anti gun!

That Stupid Name Game

I hate this trend in society! A party chooses a name for themselves, that name becomes part of the lexicon and associated with negative aspects, and then they simply change their name again…and again and again.

One name that we’re all familiar with is “Mentally Retarded”, its now a dirty word, and one of the name changes in my lifetime was “Special”. Of course now the term “Special” can be interchanged with the slur “Retarded”, and nothing is gained. And in the end “Mentally Retarded” was an accurate medical term. You have a 40 year old man who has limited verbal skills and wears a diaper because of his mental development, his mental development was indeed retarded (slowed) by their affliction.

Of course when a group rises above their lower situation, they don’t seem to much care what they’re called. The Jews are still called “The Jews”, you can use the term as a slur, but they don’t care, as a people the Jews are doing damn well for themselves. Sticks and stones.

Now this tripe:

In the January issue of the journal, Epilepsia, Doctors Kim and colleagues from the Department of Pediatrics at the Severance Children’s Hospital at the Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea, describes how the Korean epilepsy community changed the name of epilepsy in that country.

…Because epilepsy has been considered to be the consequence of “evanescent spiritual forces and even demonic possession,” the Korean epilepsy community changed the Korean name for epilepsy to a different term that roughly translates to cerebral electric disorder.

First up in America we’ve already played the stupid game, most articles I read about epilepsy will often lump it into the more general “Seizure Disorder”, and of course we no longer have “Grand Mal” and “Petite Mal” in the medical lexicon, its the more confusing “Generalized Seizure” and “Complex Partial Seizure”, which just confuses people. I don’t bother using those terms when talking to laypeople about the disease because you’re just wasting your time confusing them, or trying to teach them new and confusing terms.

Also I’d like to shame the people in Korea a bit. Once you grow the fuck up and sell regular fans and set aside your junk-science superstitions of BS like “Fan Death” we might consider letting you sit at the big-kid’s table.

Until then call things whatever crap you want, but keep it to yourself while you eat out of a plastic bowl with a clown printed on the bottom!

More Federal Fraud

We of course remember this case:

The EPA’s highest-paid employee and a leading expert on climate change was sentenced to 32 months in federal prison Wednesday for lying to his bosses and saying he was a CIA spy working in Pakistan so he could avoid doing his real job.

We have this slightly softer fraud.

Officials in two Treasury Department bureaus fraudulently enriched themselves at taxpayer expense, according to documents obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The assistant commissioner of the Bureau of Public Debt who supervised 108 employees in the bureau’s West Virginia office “was committing egregious time and attendance fraud,” depriving taxpayers of nearly $100,000 in salary for hours she did not work, according to one of several Treasury Department inspector general documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, most of which had previously gone unreported.

The official, despite being paid an average yearly salary of nearly $170,000, “arrives at work approximately two hours late and/or takes two-hour lunch breaks and departs work at approximately 4:00 P.M. and does not take leave,” and “consistently conducts personal business involving the Humane Society during work hours,” IG investigators found after verifying a tip from an employee who said the top official “abuses her power by being absent whenever desired.”

Their supervisor knew…but hey it isn’t HIS money, fuck those tax payers!

Voter Supression

But not what the “Progressives” are crowing about.

A Texas man says he got shot down when he tried to cast his ballot on the first day of early voting in the Republican primary because he was wearing a T-shirt in support of gun rights.

Chris Driskill says he went to his polling place last week but was prohibited from voting because he was wearing a black T-shirt with a logo on the front and back reading, “2nd Amendment — America’s Original Homeland Security, ” KHOU 11 News reported.

…”I heard a gentleman’s voice over my shoulder say ‘he can’t vote with that shirt on. You’ll have to either turn it inside out or you’ll have to leave,’” Driskill said of his polling place encounter at the Walker County Courthouse in Hempstead, a Houston suburb.

“I didn’t quite understand it at first,” he told the station. “I was thinking they just didn’t like something about the Second Amendment.”

Driskill, who works as a security guard in Houston, apparently ran afoul of Texas election law that bars campaigning for any “candidate, measure or political party” within 100 feet of polling place. His T-shirt could be construed as campaigning in support of gun rights under the law. Violators can be charged with a misdemeanor.

Umm so being AMERICAN is now a political party??? So stupid!

Also for LOLz

The words encircle a skull and crossbones where the “bones” are short-barrel pistol grip shotguns.

The picture posted is EXACTLY what the shirt is described as, but those are obviously S&W Revolvers. Again, SO STUPID!!!

We can’t have voters who are aware of the US Constitution…but we can’t have voters show ID to show that the ballot they are taking is for them, and the registered voter is indeed a REAL PERSON.

Agenda.

Images of the Antis: Same False reality

It seems Moms Demand Action is really about spreading ignorance:

I already talked about this trope when Joan Peterson attempted to spin it. Further here’s the article about where the guns in Columbine came from.

Two of the three people who illegally sold guns to the shooters at Columbine went to prison. The third, Robyn Anderson was not prosecuted in exchange for her testimony in the Colorado legislature to pass expansion of the laws she openly broke.

According to the article Anderson was not prosecuted because she had “no prior knowledge” of the plans for a massacre. I find this doubtful, as I also find it doubtful that she didn’t have any knowledge of the two teen’s criminal history. Still what can’t be denied was that she knew that the two were under 18 and therefore illegal for her to sell them guns in the first place.

Still that was good enough for this one criminal to walk away free with blood on her hands. The argument here is ignorance of the law is grounds for immunity against it. Now this is federal law, and the Brady bill was still relatively fresh so teens then got a refresher course in every news agency, and in my case (I’m aproximately the same age) teachers in school taught about this law, of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

So Moms are demanding we pass a law to make a crime MORE of a crime to prevent a crime where 2 men went to prison for doing what this law would send them to prison for, and one got away scott-free because she claimed “She didn’t know”, despite the laws being in the damn water supply in 1999!

This comes to why I keep bringing stuff like this up. Moms are attempting to form a coalition of ignorance. That is the true definition of a paper tiger because every argument they can attempt to make is easily squashed by even the most novice pro-freedom activist.

Any politician who makes such foolish claims will make themselves out to be a lazy ignorant fool on the national stage.

All it takes is for us to fight back, and we don’t even have to fight hard.

“Gun Death” Big Bridge

Note that San Francisco is one of the cities desperately fighting to keep their failed 20th Century gun laws in place:

A record number of suicides at the Golden Gate Bridge in 2013 demonstrates the need for a safety net to be installed underneath the landmark, a watchdog group says.

The Bridge Rail Foundation, which tracks fatalities at the iconic San Francisco bridge, said Tuesday that 46 people jumped to their deaths in 2013, according to Reuters.

Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District spokeswoman Mary Currie also confirmed the number and added that authorities and members of the public had to stop another 118 people that year from doing the same.

Build a safety net…or just ban more guns! I mean only “Gun Deaths” count, especially in ‘Frisco where they are quick to talk about “Gun Death”.

The Golden Gate Bridge is REALLY big and long, I imagine a safety net would cost a bundle, as well as add the trivial eyesore to what is a beautiful piece of architecture.

I’ve lost loved ones to suicide and it is a horribly sad thing…still from my standpoint the idea of FIGHTING suicide seems a futile effort. Further I know people who have “Attempted Suicide” who I’m as near 100% sure (not being able to be in their head when they did their various dangerous acts) where their death was NEVER an intended outcome, and maybe I’m cynical, but of those 118 people who were stopped from jumping, how many really planned to end their life that day.

Its a sad topic, and one I have mixed feelings about, as well as a little anger about. What do you think?

Smell the Bovine Excrement

The headline says it all!

EXCLUSIVE: Buying a gun on Facebook takes 15 minutes

15 minutes? Man that’s quick! I’ve sold guns online and it rarely takes under a week. You need to get interest in the posting, you need to haggle with the price, you need to arrange a meeting, and all that doesn’t cover bills of sale, and exchange of IDs.

Hell I can’t even imagine that buying a gun illegally on the street takes such a short amount of time! BRAVO SIERRA!

It gets better!

In Kentucky, Greenup County Sheriff Keith Cooper remembers when a call came into dispatch last October saying a 15-year-old student had been arrested on the Greenup County High School campus for carrying an unlicensed and loaded 9mm handgun to school. The boy was arrested and brought to Cooper’s office for an interview.

How does one licence a handgun in Tennessee? Last I checked that was an impossibility. Man there is NOTHING in this report that isn’t crap!
