Authorities say quick actions by a teacher averted a potential shooting at a northern New York high school where a 15-year-old student had a rifle concealed in a case wrapped in a blanket…Deputies say the teen sneaked the weapon into school and began opening the case containing the rifle at the end of a class. Officials say a teacher noticed and immediately secured the weapon.
Police were called as the school went into lockdown. The student was taken into custody. Police say he hasn’t been charged yet.
Good work! When you see somebody pulling a gun in public you can assume you’re already dead, so act accordingly. This is the same type of action that saved many lives in the Arizona Mall shooting. People jumped on the shooter and stopped him in his tracks.

The man beaten by the biker gang in NYC is suing NYPD!
A man who was dragged from his SUV and beaten by a group of motorcyclists following a frightening chase on a Manhattan highway has filed a legal notice saying he intends to sue New York City over the attack.
Prosecutors say an off-duty police detective was among the bikers who pursued and beat Alexian Lien after a confrontation on the West Side Highway.
Be interesting to see what happens from here.

New details are emerging in the investigation into a shooting at a Dallas County dollar store that ended with a gunman dead at the hands of a customer who decided to take action….
“He escorted a customer who was trying to leave the store and a cashier toward a break room. The cashier went in first and the customer went in behind her, and the individual had the gun on the customer and the customer had a pistol concealed in a holster,” Dallas County Sheriff Harris Huffman said. “And when the customer got to the door, he turned around and shot the individual.”
We can only guess why the robber was escorting people into the break room. It obviously wasn’t just to take the money in the till and run. Thankfully he was killed by a lawful citizen who refused to be a victim, and through that did not allow the others in the store to be victimized.
Carry your guns, people, you never know when you might need them. Heck, do you really imagine a dollar store being a place ideal for an armed robbery?

A Houston man trying to sell Jay-Z concert tickets was robbed, run over and permanently disfigured by a pair of women who had a child with them, according to Harris County court documents.
Officials said finding the women was as easy as checking the stolen tickets for a seat number and going to the concert….Darden told the man over the phone that she had a child with her, couldn’t leave her vehicle and needed to meet in the parking lot, records state.
When the man approached the car, the pair allegedly snatched the tickets from his hand. Court documents state that Green drove off with the man still holding on to the vehicle, where Darden’s child was in the backseat.
According to court documents, Darden began kicking the man and he fell from the speeding car, suffering a broken leg, left arm, right hand, torn right knee, and severe road rash.
He wasn’t killed, but this meets the legal definition of “Grave Bodily Harm”, and over some damn concert tickets AND WITH A CHILD IN THE CAR!
The show host uses that phrase to poke fun at the amount of horrible violence and antisocial behavior that becomes of people who are “Aspiring Rappers”. Do we need COMMON SENSE controls on Hip-Hop?

A man comes home to find his mother not breathing, so he calls 911, go read the whole story, but the end result was the dispatcher hung up on him when he said a swear word.
No workers are being terminated for this.
Now this was a medical emergency, but imagine if the same thing (and it very well could) happen if you were under attack.
This is why I carry a gun!
