Teacher’s Unions: Anti-Children

I hate teacher’s unions. They are anti-children, and pro bad-teachers!

A teacher’s union in Michigan is fighting to get a $10,000 severance package for a convicted child molester whose case that drew outrage earlier this year when his former school colleagues pleaded with a judge to sentence him lightly.

Neal Erickson, 38, pleaded guilty in May to raping a young boy over the course of three years — from 2006 to 2009 — and was sentenced to 15-30 years in prison. The prison term came over the pleas of seven of Erickson’s former fellow teachers at Rose City Middle School, including Sally Campbell, who said in a letter to the judge that “Neal made a mistake. He allowed a mutual friendship to develop into much more.”

So not only are they seeking to get this monster PAID, but fellow teachers are DEFENDING him??? When I was a senior in High School I had a rookie teacher teach a class. Let’s be optimistic and say she was 21 and I was 18. That’s not unreasonable for dating…tho honestly I think of how different I was from my senior year of High School to my Senior year of college, and yeah, its gross! But even then, a teacher and student should NEVER be engaging in a sexual relationship, even at that close and legally consenting age gap!

But this isn’t that case, the victim is younger than 18 and even at the earliest the teacher was over 30! Not only should the union and administration be throwing this beast under the bus, but they should be cleaning the roster of all of the teachers who somehow think this is acceptable behavior!

And they would…if they gave the least bit of a shit about students!

Images of the Progressives: Health Insurence

You really need to have your head in the sand to make an image like this:

First up I’ll challenge that the war efforts in the Middle East and Central Asia were about protecting the remaining citizens of the free world, rather than specifically avenging those lost on the September 11th Attacks.

Still I find it VERY laughable that those who opposed Obamacare are somehow wishing ill on people. right?

Just about 1.2 million people have gained health coverage through Obamacare, according to new federal data released Wednesday morning.

Approximately 365,000 of those people have purchased private insurance and 803,000 have been determined to be eligible for the public Medicaid program. These numbers count data from both October and November, and show an especially quick growth in HealthCare.gov enrollment.

Quick growth, yes, but in two months you’ve been able to only insure 1/5th the total people who have LOST insurance, and that isn’t including the people who weren’t insured in the first place.

Even worse:

Health plans I have spoken to are also worried about the people who have enrolled so far paying for their coverage. If an enrollee does not pay their first month’s premium by December 31, their enrollment will be void. So far, the health plans I have spoken to have seen only about 20% of their enrollees pay their premium.

I wonder how many people will actually be able to AFFORD the new plans.

So yeah, right now there are LESS insured people in the United States BECAUSE of the “Affordable Care Act”, and those of us who said it was a bad idea from the word “go” are the bad guys!

Have You Ever Noticed

That in all the old writings about firearms and weapons in this country, you never read much about hunting?

Yeah, the founding fathers, and their fellow countrymen hunted a LOT…they did it for food. But that’s kinda like me going to the grocery store. I’m not going to do up a post about picking up some chicken thighs on sale at Stop-and-Shop. That’s boring because EVERYBODY does it, and frankly its a given and not a concern.

You also notice you don’t read much about “BAD” guns written by early Americans.

They had pistols, they had rifles, they had muskets, they had shotguns. They even had repeating arms, and repeating air rifles. Yet you never see writing about any of those guns being bad, or even seeing potential for future weapons being bad.

Also note that there were also bombs, and cannons, and explosive shells and other crazy stuff that could be held by individuals. You never read that a local farmer SHOULDN’T have a cannon in his barn with explosive balls.

Funny when you hear a politician or “I’m a gun owner but..” person saying “They Respect the Second Amendment” they frequently talk about stuff that was never discussed or a concern for the people that penned it.

Its almost like the 2nd Amendment means what it says…

“Most Transparent Whitehouse”

Yeah!

The Health and Human Services Department has told contractors working on the problem-plagued ObamaCare website not to release documents to congressional investigators, a mandate slammed as “criminal obstruction” by House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa.

The Dec. 6 letter from CMS official Daniel Kane says that although the department understands Congress’ need for documents to continue its probe into the issues with Healthcare.gov, the agency is concerned about security risks from releasing testing information to third parties.

Therefore, the letter states, the agency has decided to not allow contractors to release any documents to any third party, telling the contractors to send congressional investigators to CMS, who will handle the request themselves.

Yeah, just on a long list of blocking investigation on shady, and likely deeply criminal behavior from this administration.

Political Pro-Tip: Elect a politician from Massachusetts or New Jersey, you’ll get a Liberal. Elect a politician from Chicago, or Arkansas, you’ll get a criminal.

“Gun Death” Monsters

Monsters live among us!

Newlyweds just three weeks removed from their wedding day lured a Pennsylvania man to his death with a Craigslist ad because they wanted to kill someone together, police said…According to Sunbury police, Elytte Barbour told investigators he hid in the backseat of the couple’s SUV as his wife picked up LaFerrara at a mall on Nov. 11. He told police that, on his wife’s signal, he wrapped a cord around LaFerrara’s neck, restraining him while Miranda Barbour stabbed him.

The 42-year-old Port Trevorton man was stabbed 20 times, police said.

Those who preach “Gun Death” are promising safety if we pass more laws. Name a law that would keep these monsters from killing?

Images of the Progressives: Big Lie

Found this image from a “Progressive” Cheer Leader:

Its all well and good, except that the “Global Warming” money is all coming from Government grants, not small private research groups, and PACs. These research grants are only interested in a “Global Crisis” so if the groups’ findings are NOT that the world is warming to dangerous levels the money goes away and their labs close down…so what do you think their numbers will do?

I witnessed the same cooking of numbers when I worked for NOAA on fisheries research. If they said fish stocks were stable then the money dries up, and the NOAA labs analyzing the data are reduced to a skeleton crew.

Government research is always walking the tight-rope, and I ended up being laid off because NOAA funds were shifted to the Iraq war. Also that’s a great little metric to look at. Look at how much the Department of Defense spent on Iraq and Afghanistan. Do you really think the oil company money is a drop in the bucket compared to what the .gov can throw at a convenient emotional fulcrum to pass laws of intervention and regulation?

**UPDATE** And I forgot about the whole “Consensus” thing. First one has to look at WHO is preaching “Greenhouse Effect”/ “Global Warming”/ “Manbearpig”. Yes we have a good number of climatologists, and ecologists, but look at the biggest advocate, Al Gore. He’s a lawyer turned politician, has he even taken a single course in ecology? I’ll also add myself into this. I’m a marine biologist who now spends his time doing medical research, I’m personally not the guy who’s going to blow the doors off this. Still I became a skeptic of this back in the late 90s when I was taking ecology courses and my PROFESSORS were calling what was then the “Greenhouse Effect” a dubious theory. More here:

Neil Stenhouse, lead author of a paper accepted for publication by the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society, trashed the ability of American Meteorological Society meteorologists to understand global warming after they failed to validate Stenhouse’s mythical global warming…Stenhouse, a psychologist and doctoral student in communications at George Mason University, emailed all full members of the American Meteorological Society for whom he could find an email address and asked them to fill out an online survey on global warming. More than 1,800 AMS meteorologists filled out the survey.

Only 52 percent said global warming is occurring and is caused mostly by humans – which is itself a far cry from having 52 percent say humans are causing a global warming crisis. The results were a huge blow to the mythical notion that all or nearly all scientists agree that humans are causing a global warming crisis. This is especially the case considering the AMS survey reflected the views of scientists with atmospheric science expertise. This wasn’t a survey of engineers or other non-atmospheric scientists with little if any atmospheric science expertise….Considering only 52 percent of AMS scientists believe humans are the main cause for some global warming, and considering the Guardian protested that only 13 percent of AMS meteorologists listed climate science as their primary area of expertise (as if having expertise in one area of atmospheric science precludes expertise in others), this leaves Stenhouse asserting that the term “not climate experts” applies to a majority of AMS members.

Yep, meteorologists study WEATHER, and you’ll note that many from the religion (and it is a religion now) of “Global Warming” will tell you, that climate change is NOT weather…tho recently they have taken to blame extremely cold conditions on what was once called “Greenhouse Effect”. The bulk of the people who preach this stuff, including the blogger who posted the image, and the activist that created the image have NO scientific background, so they consider anybody with a science degree an “expert”.

Of course I’m not an “Expert” because I’m obviously one of those scientists being bribed by the oil companies…which further makes me an idiot, because I really don’t want to go to the lab today!

There really is no “Consensus”, there are just a large group of activists and scientists who are either emotionally, spiritually, or financially invested in this being the crisis that the .gov wants.

Misuse of Terms

I hate this one too!

“Sphincter” is a general term, but is used as a specific term by people with no biology background.

You Can’t Cheat an Honest Man

So a while back I did a post on confidence schemes

In there I talk about how Confidence artists always seek out somebody who has an interest in scamming or stealing, and is dumb enough to have the tables turned on them.

See this video:

People think they’re stealing, but they’re being stolen from. Same goes with the “Nigerian Email Scam”, the mark in this scam is essentially agreeing to money laundering, or international embezzlement, and when the artist gets a hold of their bank routing information they clean it dry and disappear.

Some confidence schemes do play off of honesty and naivete, but generally it works on greed.

This all leads up to the most dispicable member of Congress since Barney Frank retired, Alan Grayson:

Grayson was recently named in federal court papers in the case against William Dean Chapman, a Virginia man who was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison. Chapman pleaded guilty in May to a scheme that cheated Grayson and about 120 other people out of more than $35 million, The Associated Press reported on Monday.

Grayson — who has been named one of the 50 richest members of Congress — personally lost $18 million to Chapman, according to the AP.

Wow, he got taken HARD! 120 people in the scheme, but Grayson was responsible for over half the funds pilfered!

AND THIS ISN’T HIS FIRST RODEO!!

Believe it or not, it’s the second time this kind of thing has happened to Grayson — in 2009, he won a $34 million judgment in a lawsuit against a company whose business plan was similar to Chapman’s.

I wonder how many scams he’s been involved in where he wasn’t the mark? You think these are the ONLY shady business dealings he’s been a part of?

Further a man who got bilked in a scam about stock manipulation was one of the poster children for the “Occupy Wall Street” movement.

CLASSY!

“Gun Death”: “Gun Death” Serial Killer Gives Himself a “Gun Death” In Prison

The title reflects the level of “Gun Death” of this story:

A man ate cleanser that he apparently collected slowly while in custody and died while awaiting trial in the killings of four homeless men and two others, his lawyer said.

The lawyer, Michael Molfetta, who was briefed on the death, said Friday that the incident raises serious questions about Orange County jail deputies’ supervision of Itzcoatl Ocampo, who was mentally ill.

Ocampo, a 25-year-old former Marine, was found shaking and vomiting in his single-man cell Wednesday and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a day later, sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

I must say, it sounds like this suicide could have only been avoided by not allowing inmate to have jobs in prison. I’m not versed in this subject, but I suspect listless inmates are probably MORE violent to other prisoners, as well as guards if they have jobs to help pass the day and give their lives a little more meaning while incarcerated. A powdered cleaner is easy to conceal just about anywhere, and if he collected little bits over time, this is down right impossible to detect by any reasonable means.

And why was he in jail?

He was charged in January 2012 with four counts of murder, with special allegations of multiple murders, lying in wait and use of a deadly weapon. Three victims were stabbed more than 40 times each with a single-edged blade at least 7 inches long. In one instance, prosecutors, said, Ocampo selected as his next victim a homeless man who was featured in a Los Angeles Times story about the killings.

Note this is California where they have strict gun control laws to limit “Gun Death”. Also its not the tool its the person:

Ocampo, who was discharged from the Marines in 2010, also was facing murder charges in the deaths of a school friend’s mother and brother in October 2011.

There are monsters among us, and private weapons are used to defend against these monsters. These beasts are who the “Gun Death” crowd want to rule the streets.
