“Gun Death” Poison

No actual death in this one, but you can see how it would work:

A North Carolina woman is charged with trying to poison five family members after one of them refused to share some cheese with her.

A statement from the Nash County Sheriff’s Office said 24-year-old Tiara Drake wanted some of a relative’s cheese on Friday, but the woman refused to share.

The sheriff’s office said Drake awakened before the rest of the family the next morning and used detergent, window cleaner and a household cleanser to poison the cheese. The rest of the family made breakfast with the cheese and began eating it before one of them determined it was tainted.

Thankfully nobody was harmed, still you can quickly see how access to poisons and communal foods can be vastly more dangerous than firearms. Also shows it isn’t the tool, its the will to kill.

Neat look at the issue. Also if he was so inclined, that outfit would be ideal for concealing a shoulder holster!

Baby Update!

We just had the ultrasound.

Its a girl! So there are lots of tea parties in my future, and I couldn’t be happier!

We have a real name all picked out. Still for the blog world, I must say, Alan cracked Mrs. Weer’d and I up the most with what will be the Baby’s new screen name.

Baby’s screen name (Until she can come up with something better) is LaWeerda.

Seriously???

Bacon restaurant forced to close because of the smell of bacon….

A San Francisco bacon restaurant, fittingly called “Bacon Bacon,” was forced to shut its door on Friday after neighbors complained that the “porcine aroma” wafting from the establishment was too strong.

According to the San Francisco Examiner, neighbors also alleged the store was illegally dumping bacon grease into the sewers and the restaurant lacked the proper health permits to operate the business.

The restaurant may be able to secure a permit and resume operations, but a hearing cannot be held until July, so for now the restaurant will remain closed.

San Francisco, Anti-Freedom, not just anti-gun!

“Gun Death” Amputation

Cars are different than guns because “Progressives” own them!

A pregnant woman was seriously injured Thursday morning when another pregnant woman intentionally hit her with a car, pinning her against a southwest Houston home, police said….He said Hunter jumped into his car and gunned it, pinning her 21-year-old rival between the car and the house, police said.

Witnesses heard Kelly screaming in pain….Kelly was rushed to the hospital with two broken legs. Doctors had to amputate one leg. The baby is expected to be OK.

No death, but the woman has lost her leg due to this. Hardly a “minor incident”….still we can’t talk about “Common sense car restrictions” because that would be too much of an inconvenience to the anti-freedom bigots.

Better to inconvenience the gun owners who had nothing to do with this, because guns are different!

Taking the Battle to the Courts

According to Heller and McDonald these new laws are Unconstitutional, so take it to the courts!

Colorado sheriffs upset with gun restrictions adopted in the aftermath of last year’s mass shootings filed a federal lawsuit Friday, challenging the regulations as unconstitutional.

The lawsuit involves sheriffs from 54 of Colorado’s 64 counties, most representing rural, gun-friendly areas of the state.

The sheriffs say the new state laws violate Second Amendment protections that guarantee the right to keep and bear arms. Opponents are criticizing the lawsuit as political maneuvering.

Good luck guys, there are people behind enemy lines who are pulling for you!

And of course the good people of Colorado!

“Gun Death” Random Beating

Sometimes you can’t avoid the crime, it just finds you:

The fatal beating of a man on the West Side early Friday appeared to have been a random attack committed by a group of men on a crime spree that began at a Northwest Side strip club, police said.

The victim was identified by the Bexar County medical examiner’s office late Friday as 47-year-old Baldemar Perez. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday….A woman who witnessed the attack said she and Perez had been looking for a set of keys in front of her grandmother’s house about 1 a.m. when they were approached by three unknown men who emerged from a green SUV that parked next to the victim’s truck.

She said the men began cat-calling her and asked if they could help find the keys, but she declined.

One of the men then punched Perez in the face, knocking him to the ground. As he fell, the other two began hitting him as well.

The woman said one of the men turned toward her as if he wanted to fight her, but she called police and reported the SUV’s license plate number. She said that when the men noticed she was calling police, they drove off.

Officers said Perez was found in a pool of blood, wedged face-down between the sidewalk and the woman’s Ford Crown Victoria, his face battered.

He was pronounced dead at 1:36 a.m.

No guns used by the attackers, but I suspect one from the victim might have come in handy that night.

Be safe out there!

The boys, who attended a private school in Yulin City, in the Guangxi Zhuang region, died later in hospital, Xinhua news agency says.

A male employee reportedly hit the boys, causing critical injuries.

This comes a day after a man killed two before slashing six children at a school in Shanghai on Thursday.
