“Highly Trained”

The anti-freedom types always exempt police from their goals of civilian disarmament because police are “More Highly Trained”.

Have a watch at this video:

First up its just awesome people are standing up for their rights, that’s paramount. No, you can’t search my vehicle, no I won’t answer your questions. Can I leave now? Am I being detained?

Still the really scary thing is the blank looks, and bullshit responses they get to “Am I being detained?” or “What probable cause do you have to think a crime is being committed?”

This is cop-school 100 crap. They go over rights, and limitation of power LONG before they ever hit the firing line, and long before they show an officer how to fill out a booking sheet.

It’s pretty obvious they’ve forgotten most of their training because the world is filled with sheep who simply do whatever the shiny badge tells them to. (This is also a great example of why a 4 year full-time training course for a CCW permit is worthless, as if they person isn’t a hardcore gun nut who’s willing to make frequent trips to the range and refresh their knowledge of justifiable homicide laws they’ll forget everything they learned in a few years)

More people need to do this, if for nothing, but the education of out law enforcement.

“Gun Death” Yard Junk

Funny how those who use “Gun Death” as a metric claim that guns need to be restricted because it makes murder “Too Easy”. If we all had guns people would murder each other over stupid shit.

A deadly dispute between two cousins at a home near Leander on Wednesday was over a garden hose, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Reggie Horton, 47, got into an argument with his cousin, James Prestage, 41, at Prestage’s home in the 22900 bock of Big Sandy Drive in northwestern Travis County because a hose used to water horses had been left on overnight, according to the report.

“The argument escalated to James striking Horton on the head with his fist,” according to arrest warrant filed Thursday in Travis County. “Horton picked up a bicycle rim and struck James with it.”

The two then stopped fighting, but Horton later picked up a butcher knife and began walking back toward Prestage, who had emerged from his bedroom, according to the document. “When the two got within a few feet from one another, Horton stabbed James with the butcher knife,” it said.

A fight over NOTHING, with standard household miscellany as the weapons.

Sorry “Gun Death” Cultists, but it isn’t the tools that are the danger, its the people

In-Fighting

Good!

Bob Jackson might be thought to have reason to welcome the mayor of New York splurging millions to make guns the issue of a Chicago election.

After all, Jackson heads a group, Roseland Ceasefire, struggling to contain a surge in shootings in one of Chicago’s poorest and most violent neighbourhoods. More than 100 people have been shot dead in Roseland over the past year, many of them teenagers, as a wave of killings of young people has shaken the city.

Michael Bloomberg, one of the most high-profile supporters of stricter gun controls, has used his money to oppose one candidate and back another in a special primary election, taking place on Tuesday, to decide the likely replacement for Jesse Jackson Jr as member of Congress for Illinois’ second district, which covers Roseland. For New York’s billionaire mayor, the key issue has been the candidates’ position on a federal assault rifles ban. But his intervention, far from rallying campaigners like Jackson, has instead angered people on all sides of the guns debate.

“Who’s going to be the boss of this new member of Congress? Is it going to be Mr Bloomberg or the voters of the second district?” said Jackson. “And what’s Bloomberg’s agenda? It’s setting a precedent. He’s the mayor of New York, not Chicago. Had it not been for Bloomberg’s money, would this even be be a race?”

But above all, Jackson said Bloomberg had missed the point. New York’s mayor has thrown his weight behind one candidate, Robin Kelly, because she is a strong supporter of a ban on assault rifles and large ammunition clips – a cause close to Bloomberg’s heart which has been thrust to the political fore by the massacre of 20 young children in Newtown, Connecticut, in December.

“When’s the last time you heard of a shooing on the streets of Chicago with an assault rifle?” said Jackson. “It’s not an assault weapons issue here. It’s handguns and bullets. Banning assault rifles isn’t going to change a thing on the streets of Chicago. It’s a distraction. The mayor of New York has got it wrong.”

Even the Joyce Shills aren’t happy about Bloomberg’s despotic interventions!

Anti-Gunshow

Turns out after the passing of the SAFE Act in New York, New York Law Enforcement is having a trade show called the “Tactical Conference”

Go read Sean’s post. I’ll point out there is certainly some discrepancy in the law on selling 8 or greater round magazines or so-called “Assault Weapons” to law Enforcement. The SAFE act does not have an exemption written into it, others have said the previous LE Exemptions pre-empt the SAFE act.

Either way, if these are “Weapons of War” designed only to “Rapidly kill large amounts of people”, then why are we giving them to the cops that patrol our streets?

If these are tools used to keep citizens safe from dangerous criminals, why can’t the average citizen have them?

Sean’s going to be watching the vendors list for his NYC Boycott list.

Send your emails, to let them know the lawful citizens of America are watching their moves.

Late Start

My Sleep has been wonky as of late. For those who watch the post logs you’ll notice my eyes have been popping open around 0400 each morning. I assumed this happened this morning…it didn’t.

Gotta go to work! Blog later!

“Gun Death” Neglect

You totally need guns to kill!

Jurors have gone home for the weekend without deciding on the punishment for a Dallas woman convicted in the dehydration death of her 10-year-old stepson.

Tina Marie Alberson was convicted Friday afternoon of second-degree felony injury to a child in the July 2011 death of Jonathan James. The boy was denied water for days during record-high temperatures in North Texas.

Brutal, but not a “Gun Death”. We certainly need to be focusing on the guns, because guns cause death!

Reason on the Sequester

Frankly, we’re broke, and have been for decades, any cuts are good. Of course the Daddy State types would just rather us spend like an unemployed college student with a credit card…

Pro-Woman

She’s right, Rape isn’t about being sexual, but power and violence. Interesting that the people suggesting the most insulting “Rape Prevention” techniques are for civilian disarmament and restrictions of liberty.

See a trend in common?
