The Beard Gives Him Power…To Fight the TSA

Wow this great story was sent to me by Archer:

The rest of the story is here. from the print story:

Brennan thinks he committed no crime.

“I know that nude, but not lewd, is protected speech in Oregon,” he said.

According to ORS 163.465.

(1) A person commits the crime of public indecency if while in, or in view of, a public place the person performs:

(a) An act of sexual intercourse;

(b) An act of deviate sexual intercourse; or

(c) An act of exposing the genitals of the person with the intent of arousing the sexual desire of the person or another person.

He may have a point. And an annual Portland bike ride to back up his claim.

Go Brennan! This bearded brother has earned my respect! If people don’t like this horseshit they need to speak out. If people don’t have an issue with the TSA they need to WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!

The TSA has stopped no terrorists, and has allowed countless contraband that is EASILY detectable go through their screenings. They sexually assault people and take indecent pictures. And all that is on top of their blatant disregard to the 4th Amendment.

The TSA should be the people in jail, not Mr. Brennan.

Oh and the news footage blurred the images, but I suspect Mr. Brennan has some massive balls to stand up the way he did! 8)

THE BEARD GIVES HIM POWER!!!!

Disband the TSA Yesterday!

Leftists and Taxes

This a repeat story every tax season here in Massachusetts, but I don’t know if I’ve covered it before.

You know how it works here in Massachusetts. If you want to put your money where your liberal mouth is, all you have to do is check Box 22 on the state income tax form and then you can pay at the old, higher 5.85 percent rate….According to the DOR, as of yesterday 2.78 million Massachusetts residents had filed 2011 tax returns, and exactly 773 opted to pay at the higher rate. Altogether the 773 paid an extra $60,181, which means their average income was approximately $15,000.

Another radio personality made a great analogy: Democrats treat taxes like teenage boys treat sex. They will do ANYTHING to do it, and its most of what they think about.

This Box 22 issue says a universal truth: Nobody wants to give more than they have to, especially when it comes to taxes that are mandated from the barrel of a gun. Still its one thing to try and shirk the tax system and keep as much of your money to spend as you see fit, bet that personal gain, saving, or charities.

The irony comes to those who want us all to pay more taxes, but won’t lead by example, even when when its made as painfully easy as checking a single box here in Massachusetts. Further it seems that all those leftist supporters of the “Buffet Rule” where they want “The Rich” to pay more in taxes, it seems the only people who pay more are the lower middle class, as a $15,000 annual income is NOT a lot of money, when you factor in that some of these people HAD to have filed jointly with a spouse, and the high class of living, “Poor” isn’t an outlandish moniker.

Meanwhile all these wealthy leftists don’t pay, further we have stories like John Kerry cheating tax laws for his expensive imported yacht (he claims to have paid when he was caught, but I don’t know if I buy his story). Buffet himself is fighting a massive back-tax bill, you wonder if he’d pay more taxes than his secretary if he paid his bill in full like us “Regular People”.

Of course we all know the stories of leftist tax-cheats, many in the Obama Cabinet, many more in the Federal Legislature.

I think this all falls in line with Obama’s Cigarette ban, Barry is a smoker. That’s fine, he’s a big boy, and he has a tough job. Let him smoke, let him drink. Hell let him fire up a joint. Only he banned cigarettes here in America….not the brands he smokes, of course.

I think we can all read the writing on the wall, the wealthy Limousine Liberals want US to pay higher taxes…they’ll continue to exploit tax shelters, or outright cheat and steal.

Classy, huh?

Immortality

I thought about this last night, and decided to look it up. Before I head out to work I’m listening to Vicious Circle 108 simply because Newbius was on it. Like I remember him he’s being funny, and speaking lovingly of his family. He’s gone now, and we miss him. Strange how the internet can be a magical time capsule where the dead still live.

Same also with William whom I first “met” on this episode of Vicious Circle, I later met him for reals at the NRA convention in Pennsylvania.

I also never met Meleanie Hain or even corresponded with her, but she also left her mark on eternity.

A little maudlin, but that’s how I’m feeling right now. I am better having known them. We miss you.

The Silly Season Commeth

Let’s be honest at BEST this campaign season is going to be a repeat of the 2004 Bush v Kerry race. Two candidates that were weak, and nobody liked. That’s a best case scenario, I have a feeling that both these dorks are less capable than the aforementioned dorks.

So the latest is this stupidity.

The crux is that Romney did a family car trip with his dog in a carrier on the roof. Romney said the dog loved it, others are claiming the dog hated it. I have no idea, I don’t fucking care. If Romney was cruel to his dog, he was cruel in the most half-assed way. If you want to make the argument that Romney is a half-assed cruel politician, I’d say that shoe fits.

The rebuttal is Obama said while living in Indonesia he ate dog meat. Is that cruel to dogs? certainly I can’t name a dog that is a fan of being killed for food…also given that killing animals comfortably with care and respect is part of my job, this is almost as meaningless.

Of course all this bullshit is before the big talks of who has nicer hair, who’s wife is prettier, or dresses better, or who’s taller.

Frankly both candidates such as politicians and on their political resume, as well as their current, and most likely false, political stances. So the campaign will likely mostly be hair, height, wives, and dick-measurement.

This is going to be a long, ugly, and stupid election, and in the end the United States of America is going to lose. I would make an agenda to NOT pay attention, but this bullshit is going to be piped into our water. There is no escape.

**UPDATE** Borepatch brings a little more objective smartness that looks at the more concrete aspects of this upcoming election.

“Gun Death” Peanuts

Generally I think this whole peanut allergy nonsense is gotten totally off the chain. I had a friend in my neighborhood growing up who was allergic, and he was trained to ALWAYS ask when given food if it has peanuts in it. I’m sure he does the same thing as an adult now. I have lots of family and friends with various deadly food allergies, and that’s what they do too. I have one friend that is allergic to shellfish and she’ll say when we’re eating out that she’d prefer everybody at the table abstain just for safety. When you have peanut-free schools, or peanut free classrooms et al, I feel it discourages this kind of lifesaving self-reliance.

This is totally different.

A Long Island woman accused of feeding M&Ms that contained traces of peanuts to her disabled and allergic 8-year-old pleaded not guilty Wednesday to an upgraded charge of second-degree murder in the child’s death….After Cirella’s arrest last summer, Assistant District Attorney Zeena Abdi said that Julie, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as an infant and was confined to a wheelchair, had suffered an allergic reaction to something she was fed.

“There was a certain protocol that should have been followed as far as giving care for the allergy that she did not take,” the prosecutor said at the time.

After discovering Julie had died, Cirella told police that she attempted suicide by taking both injections of insulin and drinking the medication, as well as taking an unknown quantity of painkillers. She also told police she attempted to strangle herself with an electrical cord. Cirella and her daughter were found by Cirella’s mother-in-law, Dolores Cirella, who also lived in the Plainview home, when she checked on their preparations for the wedding later that afternoon.

Hmmm no gun in the suicide attempt either. In this instance the mother KNEW the needs and difficulties of her daughter. In this instance feeding peanuts or peanut-laced food items (BTW we’re all familiar with the “May Contain Traces of Peanuts”) is no different than feeding her rat poison. Doubly so when she started showing signs of a reaction, which are anything but subtle.

And then there is the insulin and pain killers, which can kill a person in the right amounts.

Why do people still use the term “Gun Death”?

Evening Watch

I’ve always been one who argues that women are NOT discriminated against in the workplace and that there isn’t really a wage gap.

Yep the differences observed between men and women is simply the cultural, and biological differences (namely that women have children, and across all cultures generally care for them)

Makes sense.

Quote of the Day

Just showed a co-worker the Singer 1911 Jay has a picture up of here.

He’s not a gunnie, but he is a computer geek, so I mentioned about the various WWII companies that put aside their usual wares to make guns and ordinance, like IBM making M1 Carbines.

QOTD: Him: “Fedora should make an assault rifle!”
Me: “That would be cool…sadly it would likely just be a receiver, and you’d need to patch in your barrel, action, and trigger group.”

Hmmm

Scott Brown voted with Republicans against the Buffet Tax bill.

Romney Addressed the NRA talking about how pro-gun he is.

What could possibly cause them to alter their behavior like this?

Yeah. I’m not that fucking stupid.

PS: Those of you who still think Obama will come out of his shell and expose is true Marxist Revolutionary….Just look at Massachusetts. Deval Patric, who might as well be President Obama’s mini-me clone, just got re-elected, and can’t even be bothered to be seen in the state. And this is in a state where Republicans don’t really exist, and moderate Democrats are a rare breed.

Its a gamble, but I think I have good evidence that without a 3rd Term to worry about, rather than ferociously passing anti-rights “Progressive” bills without political fallout, he’ll simply know he can interject his ego into local news stories, take extravagant vacations, and give speeches that badmouth America without fear of Political fallout.

He’s a rock star that will no longer have to make albums, it was never “about the music” it was all about the being a hedonistic egomaniac.

At least that’s what I think.

Mixed Feelings

About this story.

A protester confronted by a Boston police officer, who was photographed with his hand around the protester’s neck, is now contemplating legal action.

The protester, who gave the name Allie but did not want to be identified by gender, said the officer’s hand was used to push and not choke.

“He pushed me,” Allie said in a telephone interview Monday. “I turned to him and said don’t push me. … Then he got angry. He grabbed me by the neck and then pushed me by the neck. He didn’t choke me.”

Boston police said they are scrutinizing the photo, which was taken by a 22-year-old college student, who uploaded it and other photographs of the event on the picture-sharing website Flickr.

Go look at the photo. Certainly it was not a choke. You need to be highly conditioned to not immediately start fighting back when somebody starts crushing your throat. Also it looks like everybody is being as peaceful as you can expect a kill-the-Jews rally to be.

Still if the parents had spanked their kids a few times when they acted like this as children, maybe they’d be doing something productive rather than harassing police. So while the officer likely stepped over the line by laying hands on this dork for any reason, or any bodily location, these violent, unmotivated, protests are a tinder box for such interactions.

Morning Watch

Honestly belt-feds don’t do much for me. I don’t picture myself ever backing up a squad who’s in need of some heavy fire. Further full-auto is just totally cost-prohibitive for most Americans, and semi-auto belts are just kind of strange to me.

Still this does kick over the “cool” factor.

Love the last line!

Never knew the soft belt-pouches were called “Nutsacks” That’s awesome!

I’ll certainly post the slide-fire tests when they put them up. That certainly seems to be one REALLY compelling reason for this, as anybody who can buy an AR-15 can buy a bumpfire stock, add in this belt system and all you need now is to be careful not to burn up your barrel!
