Media Misinformation

Sick shit out there in the Zimmerman case. Like this:

Trayvon Martin, a black child of 17, died at the invisible intersection of racial hatred and hating government.

Trayvon left the Sanford, Fla., home of his father’s fiancée on Feb. 26 to buy candy and iced tea and, shortly thereafter, met a violent, screaming death at the hands of a man standing over him.

A death so wicked and unexplainable — like the slaughter of Jewish children in France this week — cries out for swift and immediate justice. In France, the state would see to that. A suspect in those murders, and the previous deaths of one black and two Muslim soldiers, has already been killed in a shootout with French police. In Florida, Trayvon’s shooter, a “white Hispanic” named George Zimmerman, remains free unless Big Government — here, the Justice Department — decides to prosecute him.

Lets see allegations of racism when there are none. Comparing Zimmerman to the Al Qaeda terrorist in France. Claiming Zimmerman was standing over Martin when he shot him, when in fact Martin was on top of Zimmerman pounding his face in.

Zimmerman is free because the police found no evidence of a crime. This guy HAS no evidence, and states several things that are totally false, and he’s decided Zimmerman is guilty. Nice, huh?

And of course racist inciter of riots, Al Sharpton says this is all about being black.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Stay to the end where he quote Martin Luther King about Content of character, not color of skin in a story where he frames everything about race. Sharpton isn’t an idiot, he’s a fucking idiot!

Everything I’ve read I believe Zimmerman is non guilty, and I suspect racists like this who see everybody ELSE as a racist will likely stir up violence when justice is served.

Or the cowards who don’t want to be called “Racist” by people who judge EVERYBODY by the color of their skin may turn Zimmerman into a sacrificial lamb for the cause.

Zimmerman 911 Tapes Revisited

OK so first there is going to be a bit of speculation, but I’ve been reviewing so much hard data on this case I kinda want to get my thoughts out there. Since overall I feel the Zimmerman has been portrayed unfairly by the Media, the race-baiters, and the anti-rights cult, I’m going start with my admonishments of Mr. Zimmerman so I can be perfectly clear.

Mr. Zimmerman has been referred to as a “Neighborhood Watch Captain”, but from every report I’ve read there has been no such “neighborhood watch” for the neighborhood referenced, nor any subordinate watchmen coming forward for comment. It would appear that Mr. Zimmerman just had a hobby of driving around the neighborhood in the evening looking for crimes, and his frequent calls to police support that. **UPDATE** RWC links this story where another “Watch Captain” is interviewed, so maybe there was an organized watch. Thanks RWC!

I suspect Mr. Zimmerman is doing this out of his own good nature as a philanthropy. But if you want a “Neighborhood watch” organize and start one, don’t just start flying solo on your own volition. If there HAD been a watch, Zimmerman could have had almost immediate backup for both a corroborating witness, as well as potential help in the reported hand-to-hand struggle, without need for pulling his gun.

Most people just want to mind their own business, so if a watch can’t be arranged, just accept that and watch your own property, and simply be a good neighbor. My Neighbors and I are quite friendly and we like to tell each-other when we’re on vacation just so the others can keep an eye peeled for fishy behavior. It also makes a vacation more enjoyable because I know if I don’t hear a call, its likely everything is fine back at my castle.

The ONLY reason why Zimmerman was in this situation was because he was out LOOKING for situations to get involved in. I think we can all agree, guilty or innocent, none of us would like to trade places with Mr. Zimmerman right now. Remember that.

Ok so let’s just lay out the data I have. yesterday I reported on the Arrest report, and found an eyewitness account of the home owner who lived on the property where Mr. Martin died.

This sent me back to Sebastian’s place where he posted links to the 911 calls.

If you’ve read the police report and heard the witness listen to Zimmerman’s call.

Zimmerman calls to report a suspicious person wandering in the rain just looking at houses. Police ask him for a description and Zimmerman states he suspect the man is black but sounds unsure. The police ask where he is and he says he can’t give the exact address of the house he’s nearest because he can’t see the numbers from his truck. At this point he says the man spots him and begins to “Check him out”, and approach him. At this point he confirms that the man is black, and re-states he thinks something is wrong with him, and that he is carrying something in his hands, but he isn’t sure what. He doesn’t sound concerned that the person is armed, just suspicious.

From his tone I find it hard to believe he was “Profiling” a black teen. He just sees somebody in the dark wandering around in the rain. We have a saying around here where you say somebody “Doesn’t have the sense to come out of the rain”. I’ve seen pools and swimming areas clear out when rain starts falling. People are swimming in water and soaking wet, but they seek shelter when the water starts coming from above rather than below. I also think its odd that somebody would be walking in the rain without obvious direction and purpose, especially as the sun is setting.

While talking with the police Zimmerman suddenly, and with a bit of surprise notes that the person takes off running.

This is when you hear Zimmerman’s door open, and start hearing wind noise on the phone receiver. At no point do you hear feet pounding the pavement, excessive wind or breath noises, and Zimmerman continues to talk at a normal voice. The police ask if he’s following the subject, and he confirms this.

I would infer from this that Zimmerman started following Martin, but I hear nothing to imply he at all started to run, but it does sound like Martin took off at a decent jog from Zimmerman’s surprise. Honestly this is something I’d do as well. Whether he should have been there in the first place is irrelevant at this point, he’s now involved with the police of a suspicious person, I too would keep an eye on him at a safe distance.

The police tell Zimmerman no to pursue the person, and he gives them directions to the neighborhood mailboxes, and again states he doesn’t know the exact address. He tells the police to call him when they are on site and ends the call.

Now from Zimmerman’s account at this point he checked a home address and was returning to his truck when Martin jumped him from behind.

That sounds VERY believable. If Martin was afraid of Zimmerman or thought he was being pursued he could have taken off running. Martin was a tall athletic boy who played sports at school, Zimmerman is short and from his mug shot appears to have some extra weight on him. Also there is no evidence in the call that Zimmerman ever did anything but a brisk walk. If Martin had started running, even at a slow jog when reported, and Zimmerman was still in his car he could have opened a lot of distance between them.

Now listen to this 911 tape.

The first call takes place shortly after Martin has been shot and like all the calls confirms that the two men were on the ground fighting, one was yelling for “help” and then a shot was fired and Martin was killed. The second call on the clip appears to be shortly after Martin and Zimmerman made physical contact. You can hear somebody shouting for help, and the shouting goes on for some time before the single shot is heard. The 2nd Call you can hear the screaming from the first moment, and the caller immediately reports it, much of the call is redacted to protect the caller, but the gunshot is heard just under a minute into the call. That minute feels long for me, it would feel longer for the parties involved.

I can’t imagine that Zimmerman could have chased down and jumped Martin given the head start he had, and the physical differences between them. The eyewitness is the only account that identifies either party as the one shouting, and it certainly only sounds like a single voice from the call (which again is of poor quality and redacted heavily), and the eyewitness stated that it was the man with the red jacket as the person calling for help.

I can only reasonably deduce from this is that Zimmerman complied with the 911 operator’s request to not pursue Martin and simply checked a home address when returning to his truck to wait for the Police to arrive. At this point he was attacked by Martin who returned to the location. He called for help as Martin was on top of him and beating him. He may have been calling to the witness to help him, and when the guy shuttered his door he was left with the options of hoping Martin wouldn’t beat him to death, or drawing his gun.

I must say I see no evidence of the alleged “Stalking”, racist intent, or even of Zimmerman actually giving chase to Martin.

Of course like in the Rodney King trial the general public was rarely informed of Mr. King or the officer’s actions before the famous tape was made. The truth was King was drunk, possibly on drugs, and had led police on a high speed chase, was violent, and they were unable to subdue him with other devices before they turned to the batons.

The people, wildly misinformed, and stirred up by the specter of racism, rioted.

I have my concerns of history repeating itself. Be careful out there.

“Gun Death” Schoolyard Fight

Bob’s talked a bunch about Anti-Rights cultists saying that if guns were banned conflicts would be resolved with “Harmless Fist Fights”, such fights can be far from harmless

It began with an incident that seemed relatively harmless, even timeless: Two little girls. An argument over a boy. An arrangement to meet after school. A pause, while a few friends gathered around and the girls put their hair up in buns. Then the fight. It lasted just a minute — two flurries of punches, a busted lip and separate paths home.

But six hours after Friday’s fight in Long Beach, 10-year-old Joanna Ramos was dead. Officials launched an investigation over the weekend and on Monday they delivered a pronouncement that stunned an already shaken community. Joanna, coroner’s officials determined, had died of blunt-force trauma to the head — and her death was ruled a homicide.

The human body is funny. People can be flung from a tumbling car wreck or burned across huge parts of their bodies and survive, and somebody can take a single hit to the wrong place and be graveyard dead.

Just shows that even in a world where guns never existed, brutality and death would still find us. Makes the metric of “Gun Death” look awful silly, if you ask me.

Occupy Wall Street Vs. Martin Marchers

Cemetery sends me this interesting story.

I participated in the #MillionHoodies march in New York City’s Union Square this past Wednesday, March 21st. When I arrived I noticed a lot less hoodies than I thought I was going to see. I assumed this was simply because of the warm weather. There was still an enormous crowd of people there to deal with the tragedy that was Trayvon Martin.

With chants of “We are the 99%” and signage to that effect as well, I was a little thrown off. I thought the purpose of this march was to bring awareness to the death of a young boy. Soon after the march started confusion was all around. Which way were we marching? Who was leading the charge? After we walked a few blocks members of the Occupy section of the march started running down the street knocking down trash cans. I was told later that some attempted to knock down police barricades and police scooters used to guide the marchers. I immediately became uncomfortable because that’s not what I signed up for. I wanted to speak out against injustice—just causing general destruction wasn’t on my agenda. Soon some Occupiers started chanting “F**k the POLICE,” one young white male wearing skinny jeans and a Justin Bieber haircut started yelling “THIS IS WAR, WE WANT WAR!” To which a hoodie-clad young black adult said “Hey, uh we don’t really want war, why don’t you tone that down. I’m about to graduate college in a few months.” The white male kind of laughed and kept moving forward yelling something else.

At various points in the march, as organizers tried to make statements, they were drowned out by Occupiers chanting whatever they saw fit at the time. It didn’t matter if there was a full-on people’s mic happening, they would attempt to push things their way. I asked Daniel Maree, one of the organizers of the #millionhoodies march what he thought of the co-option by Occupy and their actions.”Honestly,” Maree replied “I feel like this is what happens when these emotions build up and they go unchecked and you know, injustice continues, you get it boiling over like this. I’m just happy nobody got hurt.” And while Occupy did help swell the ranks of marchers, I found their actions unacceptable.

Sadly I wonder if this is also the reason why there were so many white faces in the press photos, as all the Florida gatherings have been nearly 100% black. Of course the Kill the Jews movement has the class to drown out a memorial service.

While we’re on them you need to see this:

Video footage obtained by The Daily Caller shows Occupy Wall Street protesters dumping large amounts of human urine and fecal matter around Lower Manhattan on the night of March 14.

A surveillance camera caught several people, who have been identified as members of the Occupy movement by the New York Police Department, pouring a large bucket of waste down a flight of stairs at the corner of Nassau and Cedar Streets. Around 20 minutes later, one man entered a Chase ATM vestibule on Water Street and dumped another large container of the repulsive mix.

This is “Progress”!

George Zimmerman Arrest Report

RWC linked me to the George Zimmerman Arrest Report

Not a TON of information, but still anything terribly wrong on this report is the end of an officer’s career so I trust this info more than anything I’ve read or heard to date.

– First officer time-stamps were on February 26 at 1917 hours. And those are the officer responding to the suspicious person complaint made by Mr. Zimmerman, and the “shots fired” report shortly thereafter. Mr. Martin was Declared dead at 19:30. I looked things up in an almanac and sunset for that lat/long is about 1920, so Mr. Martin left home and encountered Mr. Zimmerman in the hours BEFORE sunset. Weather was reported as Rain so I’d assume cars would have their headlights on and it would be fairly dark out, but it was not yet Night.

-When officers arrived Mr. Zimmerman was identified in the report as a “White Male”, he was cooperative with officers and identified himself as the man who made the 911 call. He was wet and had grass stains on his back. Also his nose and back of his head were injured. A Kel Tec PF9 was holstered on his belt and he allowed officers to confiscate it as evidence. (No information about ammunition, or spent shells is given)

-Mr. Zimmerman is heard to have said “I was yelling for somebody to help be, but nobody would help me!”

-The officer states he was in close contact with Zimmerman when he noticed his injuries and the condition of his clothes. No mention of suspicion of drugs or alcohol in Mr. Zimmerman’s system, or him being visibly impaired.

-Mr. Zimmerman was cuffed and placed in a cruiser and was given first aid by responding fire crew.

-Mr. Zimmerman’s height is discribed as 5’09”, no weight estimated.

-Mr. Martin was found face down in the grass with his arms under his body unresponsive, no pulse. Officers gave CPR and responding fire crew also did and were unable to revive him. Police gave both chest compressions and breath ventilation.

-Mr Martin was estimated to be 6’00” tall and weighing 160lbs.

There are still many reports still out there, but this does answer some questions, and gives some more definitive facts than what I’ve been going on before.

**UPDATE**

Eyewitness account of Zimmerman being pinned on the ground and beaten by Martin, and crying for help. Eyewitnesses can be unreliable, but the account 100% corroborates with the police data.

Sounds to me like Zimmerman saw the witness and called for help, when the witness ran inside and instead called the cops (who were already en-route) Zimmerman shot.

There are still some relevant questions on how Zimmerman and Martin first made contact, but if only Zimmerman was calling for help it would appear Martin was the aggressor.

Why Are Gun Owners So Lawful?

Uncle posted this video

have a look. A reporter is investigating some shady stuff, and they do the typical park-the-news-truck and knock on the door with the camera crew. Generally it amounts to nothing, but on rare occasions it results in a HUGE scoop making it well worth it.

Looks like the occupants did the smart thing and not answer the door…but on the way back to the truck it appears what they DID do is call their buddy who has more balls than brains.

He acts all tough and dumb and smacks around the Camera. When he realizes that the people are obviously smarter than him, not scared of his puffed up chest, and not complying with his incoherent commands he goes back to his truck and retrieves what appears to be a Hi-Point Pistol (stereotypes exist for a reason…I’m just sayin’) and holds it behind his back.

The crew retreats to the van and call the cops. (BTW under the “Stand Your Ground Law” they could justifiably shoot this jerk, and it would have been a wise move if you ask me, as things could have gotten VERY ugly VERY fast at this point), Jethro drives off.

Cops see the video, and surprise surprise, they know the fella, and arrest him on Felony assault.

Who knows if he legally had that gun, he won’t anymore or ever again, and will likely spend some time in jail for the attack.

Now let’s look at what transpired. He grabbed a gun, and held it behind his back. As far as I can see he didn’t point it, and certainly never fired a shot. He slapped a camera, something I suspect every newsie has experienced.

But that’s it, game over for his 2nd Amendment rights, and hello to gang showers in jail. For that. We don’t even know if the gun was loaded, or even if the POS worked! it didn’t have to be on either account. He could have got killed for that 100% legally, and he DID get thrown in jail on a felony rap.

Lawful gun owners don’t obey the law because we’re angels, we do it because the stakes are so high, and the cost is so great for a mistake like this. It takes a guy THAT stupid to do something like this.

That’s the point to be made.

Also carry your damn guns, because as you can see, things can go ugly fast!

Keep Your Magazines Loaded

Trayvon Martin Rally comes to NYC

n New York, Trayvon Martin’s parents moved from a day of TV interviews into the spotlight of a well-attended march in support of their call for the arrest of George Zimmerman.

While the crowd was well short of a million, reports said hundreds of thousands of people filled Union Square Park in Lower Manhattan before filing out to other locations around the city…The crowd called loudly for the arrest of George Zimmerman, who Mr Martin’s father accused of racially “profiling” his son.

At least there are SOME white faces in that crowd which implies that the racist tones aren’t as strong as many of the gatherings in Florida.

Still with history as my guide this is a race riot brewing, and its spreading. Be wary, also with history as our guide be especially wary if you are black, as such riots are often spurred on by race issues, it almost always seems to be black-on-black violence when things go pear shaped.

It could be that Mr. Zimmerman is a racist, vindictive mall-ninja who wanted to see what it was like to kill somebody. It could be that Mr. Martin was a violent and troubled teen who attempted to kill what he thought was an unarmed man.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think Mr. Martin will be the last person killed here…

Truth Deficient

So we laughed at NGVAC’s “Fact Sheet” that contained zero facts a while back…they doubled down.

Starbucks Is Feeling the Burn of Their Own Brewing — National Gun Victims Action Council (NGAC) Reports Starbucks Losing Thousands of Loyal Customers Due to BREW NOT BULLETS Boycott…THE BOYCOTT IS WORKING
“We’re less than 5 weeks into the campaign and over 2,000 loyal long-term Starbucks customers have stopped spending money, on average $71 per month, at Starbucks stores and on their products,” says Elliot Fineman, CEO of NGAC. “They are repulsed by Starbucks support of the NRA’s Lethal Pro-Gun Agenda.” (see comments below).

“The boycott will keep growing, it is a continuous effort and it has only just begun,” Fineman says, adding, “The Starbucks boycott is a specific way consumers can use their purchasing power to help create a safer society for themselves and their loved ones.” To join the effort, go to 3 CRITICAL THINGS TO DO NOW.

BTW to support their claim that “2,000 loyal long-term Starbucks customers have stopped spending money, on average $71 per month” they cite three (3!!!) anonymous comments. Again THREE their n=3, 3! III Really!

Oh and want a harder laugh? If you click on the “3 Critical Things to Do NOW” one of those things (and possibly the easiest thing to do EVER) is to “like them on facebook”.

311? And remember that two of those “Likes” are “Baldr Odinson” and “Jason Kilgore”, they have 2,000 people active in the boycott, and yet only 1.5% of them have a facebook account? further there isn’t a single person who doesn’t shop at starbucks supporting the anti-rights agenda?

We call that a “Lie”, but hey that’s just silly anecdotal evidence! Really it could be all a bunch of Luddites who love Starbucks and but love NGVAC and hate the US Constitution more, and also don’t know how to use a computer. Right?
The big claim made by NGVAC was “Starbucks Stock will Plummet!”

If you have a laptop you might want to flip it upside down for the sake of Elliot Fineman. Elliot, you just got caught in another lie!

I doubt he’ll pay me too, but I’ll take whatever he wants to give me.

Great Video

My hat goes off to all who served and are currently serving this fine country.

I didn’t serve so part of me gets the side of the idiots (especially back when I was a snot-nosed “Progressive” kid who knew EVERYTHING) but also I know enough vets from guys who did their service in peace time, to those who were support crews in war theater, to those who’d rather not talk about it.

Great video, and H/t To ENDO
