This story is being shilled pretty hard by the antis.
Former Seinfeld actor Daniel von Bargen was left fighting for life after shooting himself in the head in an apparent suicide attempt…The 61-year-old American actor told the dispatcher: ‘I’ve shot myself in the head but it didn’t work… I need help.’
When asked where he shot himself, he replied: ‘I shot… in my temple.’
When asked if the shooting was an accident, the actor replied: ‘I was supposed to go to the hospital and I didn’t want to. They were supposed to amputate at least a few toes.’
Authorities confirmed that they were dispatched to his apartment complex in Cincinnati, Ohio shortly afterwards.
In a recording of the 911 call, the emergency services can be heard arriving and shouting at Von Bargen to keep his hands visible and asking him if there are any other guns in the apartment.
On the tape, obtained by website TMZ, Von Bargen tells the dispatcher: ‘My gun is lying next to me on the bed. It is a .38 colt. I can’t open my eyes.’
Von Bargen, who is a diabetic, told the operator that he has already had one leg amputated and was ‘tired,’ referring to the procedure scheduled for his other leg.
Wow, first let’s just take a moment and make good note at the suffering that this great actor is going through right now. While I have a lot of issues with suicide, I also have some sympathy about this. I’ve seen Mr. Von Bargen’s work, and he’s awesome, and I was wondering why I hadn’t seen him recently as he was once so prolific. I suspect he’s been too ill to act, and you have to sympathize at what a horrible place he’s in, and now with what complications to a failed suicide.
And now let’s look at the blood dancers. They don’t care about the actor (except that its somebody we have a professional relationship with, as most of us have seen SOMETHING with him in it), and they don’t care that the man had recently lost a leg to diabetes, and is likely on the path to losing his other leg to the disease. They don’t care that he may be facing some very severe complications from the gun shot. (Generally a failed temple-shot can result in permanent blindness from damage to the eyes and optic nerves. Also there could be a wound track through the temporal and frontal lobe)
Now let’s go one step further, what if he didn’t have that Colt .38? What if he had taken a bunch of pills, or shoved a knife into himself, or jumped off a bridge.
There will be no candles for Spalding Gray, no matter how brilliant his career is because he jumped off a ferry and drowned.
How sick these people are. Its all blood dancing with them!

The University of California, Davis is facing a federal lawsuit filed by students who were pepper-sprayed during a campus crackdown on Occupy protests last fall.
Nineteen students and alumni represented by the American Civil Liberties Union filed the complaint in U.S. District Court in Sacramento on Wednesday.
The lawsuit is the latest fallout from the Nov. 18 incident, when campus police doused pepper-spray on sitting protesters who had set up an Occupy camp.
WTF? FEDERAL lawsuit? How does this even work? Also they were breaking the law, they were blocking public space without a permit, and against the request of the law. They got warned, then hosed with OC, then arrested.
Of course with the Kill the Jews movement, like all “Progressives”, the law and the rules don’t apply to them. Hopefully this lawsuit is as spurious as it sounds.
Felony charges against a New Hampshire man who fired a warning shot at an alleged robber have been dropped.
Dennis Fleming’s attorney confirmed the news to MyFoxBoston.com.
Now as I said here, warning shots are stupid, as you’re using a deadly force implement when deadly force is not yet warranted.
That being said, I say no harm, no foul. But this should be advised against as it can make things swing VERY badly against you, legally speaking.
As a general rule I don’t link to Jason Kilgore and Joan Peterson’s blood-dancing website “Kid Shootings”. Its nothing but an aggregate of shootings of people under the age of 18 with no attention if the shootings were legal, criminal, criminal on criminal, or accidents. Also they rarely propose solutions, except the hint that we need more gun control, and somehow that might have prevented this.
Still I found this post very telling:
A 15-year old boy brought an unloaded .380-caliber Colt semi-automatic pistol to school with him, which he had taken from his father’s locked gunbox. The parent was a conceal carry license holder….Pro-gun activists like to claim that locking a gun is enough to keep it out of children’s hands, but most teens, when questioned away from parents, admit that they are able to get the key or know the combination.
Its a local story, and overall Massachusetts is Heaven for anti-rights cultists. We have no true private sales (our “Private Sales must still be reported to the state) we have heavy restrictions on what guns and what magazines we can own. Our carry permit are “May Issue”, and we need a permit to simply OWN a gun, and those permits are also “May Issue”, meaning rights to own firearms can be removed from a lawful citizen with no due process. Also there is mandatory training before you can get your permit. Also while it was deemed unconstitutional by both Heller and McDonald we are REQUIRED by law to keep our guns locked up at all times.
None of that prevented this. The editor (there is no way to tell if the person typing is Joan or Jason) notes that these laws obviously aren’t enough. Now let’s look from the quoted news story:
The suspect’s father, who is “duly licensed” to carry firearms, Chief Riello said, owned the pistol and an additional, undetermined number of firearms. All of his weapons were confiscated by police this morning along with the father’s firearms permit—all with the father’s cooperation, the chief added.
The suspect was booked on charges of possession of a firearm without an FID (firearms identification) card and possession of a firearm on school grounds. The boy was booked this morning, but as of press time police did not know if the boy was being held in custody or had been returned to his parents.
Dad has not only lost all his guns, but has lost his right to own them. Kid is facing charges. No word on if Dad will face charges. But of course for Gun Control to be effective, such things should NEVER happen. (Note the amount of drug use, and murder, despite total prohibition of that…so at least they’re as reasonable as they are logical).
See its always the gun’s fault not the person. But we know these anti-rights fiends.
Jason Kilgore likes swords! Probably also has a bunch of knives and sharp tools scattered around his house. Unlike guns these things CAN “Just Go Off”. You bump into a knife or sword, or knock a display piece off the wall, or one falls off the counter on your foot, you can do some damage.
Mr. Kilgore has young kids at home. How does he keep them from accessing such dangerous implements?
How about Joan Peterson? She admits this is EXACTLY how she keeps her guns.
Of course the rules don’t apply to them. “Progressives” are different because they are different!

Animal rights activists are taking credit for setting fire to and destroying 14 cattle trucks at California’s largest beef producing, feeding and marketing ranches.
The North American Animal Liberation press office posted an anonymous letter on its website from activists claiming full responsibility for the arson.
“We were extremely pleased to see that all 14 trucks ‘were a total loss,’ with some being ‘completely melted to the ground,’” the statement reads.
BTW anti-freedom people are HUGE fans of the “Terror Watch List” which of course is a nice way to side-step due-process for people who aren’t terrorists at all, but as a rule ACTUAL terrorists aren’t on the list.
Something tells me Environmental Cultists aren’t on the list for fear of upsetting the “Progressive” base.

No matter what the situation. All over the internet there are trolls. They do ugly and foolish things for attention.
Treat them the same way you would a petulant child doing the same thing. Ignore them.
They want attention, they want traffic, they want comments, they want links.
The sooner you give them none, the sooner they go away, or at least vanish off of radar.
Good analysis. I think the big issue are blacks and Boomers. Blacks tend to be a lockstep Democrat voting bloc they don’t much like the gays as a group.
Also while the Baby Boomers were the dope-smoking, free-love hippies of the 60s, they are the corner stone of the Marxist “Progressive” movement which makes them ironically in favor of telling people they know best in what total strangers to with their bodies.
Seems for “Progressives” the only “Choice” they’re in favor of is weather a woman kills her baby.
And Choice is in quotes because every “Progressive” knows Sarah Palin chose wrong, and should have killed Trig in the womb!
MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – A 56-year-old man was arrested for murder Tuesday night in Mounds View, accused of stabbing his brother to death.
Mounds View police responded to a home on the 2600 block of Lake Ct Dr. around 10:33 p.m. Officers found a 51-year-old man stabbed to death in the hallway and arrested his brother at the scene.
Two brothers, one knife, one corpse. No guns, not “Gun Death” no Candles.
