How They See Us

Like most Left-wing messages there isn’t a damn fact or concrete point in there. The bottom line is the “Progressive” mentality is all about feelings, and the complete avoidance and contempt for reality.

Still she states that “Republicans Vote Against Their Best Interest” (An issue I can’t disagree with looking at the state of the party right now) because Republicans use small words.

I gotta love the projection of the left. It seems that everything they say about others is really just an admission of their own hearts. “The Republicans are lockstep, and the Democrats are a very diverse party” yeah they got both kids of Diversity, Socialist, and Marxists! (h/t to The Blues Brothers). And of course those other guys are dummies, the Left are the smarties trying the same failed 20th Century economics model that lead to the largest massacres and famines the world has ever seen.

BTW also love that traditional nature of some moonbat lefty talking about my best interests. Really tho, that’s the same reason why the right is shooting itself in the foot too. They know what our best interests are, whether we like it or not!

Guess what? Lower Taxes and Smaller Government means less busy-body idiots looking out for my “Best Interests” and more me living my life as a free man.

Foreign Concept for the party who seceded from the nation because they wanted to own black people…of course a Foreign concept for the Party that tossed the Constitution into the fire to win those states back by force.

We just have to keep fighting this battle for a bit longer, I guess…

Morning Neato

I just said “WOW!” a few times while watching this:

Like Hickok says you shouldn’t be afraid to take guns apart. I’m kinda odd as I like to field strip guns, but I get mighty timid as soon as it comes time to drive out roll pins and get down to the small parts. (I’ll have you know I’ve never had a really bad experience tearing down a gun in detail I just don’t like it)

Still I’ve taken a bunch of guns apart, and I’m at a point where it takes something odd for me to see something truly new.

Now I knew that the Vz-58 locks up via a tilting bolt face like an SKS or an FAL. So after reading that and looking at the gun’s bolt carrier from the outside, and knowing its Eastern European lineage I suspected they might look a little bit similar.

I wish he’d taken the bolt off the carrier now!

Didn’t really see the striker, I half expected it to look like the assembly on a bolt-action. Certainly the trigger bar looks the part.

Also did you notice the piston tube is open on the bottom? I think that means as soon as the piston kicks the bolt carrier out of battery most the piston assembly opens up to the big wide world and dumps all the excess pressure.

Just super cool to see something new out there.

Great video!

“Gun Death” Parent Monsters

There are some people who are just monsters

A Reno, Nevada, mother’s live-in boyfriend is facing murder charges after 2-year-old Nalaya Jordan died after being severely abused, according to police.

Authorities say little Nalaya lived her short life in a home where her caretakers blew marijuana smoke in her face to make her sleep and beat her and shook her when she ‘whined.’

Hey but not a “Gun Death” so lighten up…right?

Wrong

Johnson?

Now I live in an uber-lefty state, and I must say that I hear people talk about what a great man Ted Kennedy was, despite being a murderous drunk. (Many lefties have no idea George Soros was a Nazi, but EVERYBODY in Massachusetts knows about Chappaquiddick) And we constantly re-elect miserable communists and criminals year after year.

Yet this is the first time I’ve heard a Democrat say anything nice about that pig Johnson. This has GOT to be the dumbest President in the history of the country!

Quote of the Day: Murphy

Sometimes I hesitate on naming something QOTD because somebody else may say something better…but this one is so rock solid, I doubt I’ll read something so good in months.

Elect me President in 2012 and my first official act will be to deport Manning, Olsen and Manning’s lawyer straightaway to Iraq in exchange for three carefully vetted Iraqis who want to come here and become loyal US citizens.

I know a bunch of US citizens who were born in America who know what it means to be American so much more than the pampered Anti-Semites waiving signs on public lands right now. I also know several people who are legal Aliens who are also great Americans despite not being Americans.

I think the best solution for many of these jerks is to simply give them what they want. They WANT a Socialist/Totalitarian Nation here…I think it’s cheaper just to send them to “Utopiae” that already exist and let them eat their hearts out as they starve.

Great post!

“Gun Death”: Merry Christmas

Sad, really

A 67-year-old woman was found beaten, strangled and hidden beneath Christmas presents in her home.

The body of Michele O’Dowd was discovered Friday by her twin brother, who had gone to check on her after she failed to show up for work.

Her brother told police that he saw her foot sticking out of a big pile of Christmas gifts.

If that isn’t an ugly image, I don’t know what is. Ready for the motive?

A family friend, Patty Michelle White, 40, of York, S.C., is being held in the York County jail in connection with the murder.

Investigators say White was an ex-girlfriend of the victim’s nephew.

They said White had gone to O’Dowd house to rob her.

They say “Just Give Them What They Want, your stuff isn’t worth your life!”. Well go over and look at the mug shots. The woman is…well butch, and nearly 30 years the junior of the victim. I suspect she could have been restrained if just getting the stuff was her only goal. Still she likely had been introduced to the woman a few times, so even if she tied her up and wore a mask, she might still be identified.

Also note that no guns were used in this murder…but a gun in the hand of the old woman could have saved her life from this psychopath.

This is the world those who use the metric of “Gun Death” want for us. Do you want that world?

Classic Steel

McThag has some pictures up of the cheap .32 Revolvers his grandparents had when they ran a Gas Station.

Go have a look. And for gun snobs, a old .32 Wheelie is better than harsh words, or vigorous prayer. And while McThag says the guns have zero intrinsic value I suspect you’d have to break out a pretty meaty wad before he’d even consider making a transfer.

On a similar note My Father-in-Law still has an old S&W .357 snub-nose. (It’s probably a Model 13, but he’s not the geek that I am…he just calls it a .357) It was his carry gun back when he was a Vermont Criminal Defense Attorney…a line of work that got him rubbing elbows with unsavory people, and probably had a few of them not liking him much at all.

It being Vermont his talking about the gun is interesting as it show the way life should be, and hopefully will be again for most of America. He had a gun, he knew how to shoot it. Sometimes he was concerned about the safety of himself and his family, so he’d bring the gun with him. No permits, no paperwork, no permission slips. And no problem.

The action on the gun is a bit rough, and the trigger is QUITE heavy (I suspect around #15) and he’s occasionally mentioned selling it for something he’d feel a better affinity for. I always tell him if he wants rid of that gun, to name his price and I’ll pay it and arrange a transfer. I can’t imagine anybody paying more than $300 for it, and probably at a gun shop, pawn shop, or gun show he’d get a lot less than that…but its my Father-in-Law’s carry gun. Why would I want that in the hands of a stranger?

Certain things are just too valuable that money isn’t the first thing considered.
