“Gun Death” Blood Trail

Blood makes an awful mess.

When they arrived they found the body of Rhonda McCoy, 36, of Midway, in an abandoned trailer, the release said.

Deputies then followed a blood trail to the home of Brian Daniel Hayslett, 28, of Pemberton, who confessed to killing McCoy, the release said. According to preliminary investigations, the two got into an argument at the trailer, Hayslett went home to get a hunting knife, returned to the trailer and stabbed McCoy to death, the release said.

Wonder why the cops made so much fuss, he didn’t go back to his trailer and get a GUN! Also why does anybody NEED a hunting knife…its not like you can hunt with them! 😉

Weekend Update

Been a crazy weekend. The Mrs. seizures are totally controlled now, nothing since the last one at 1am on Friday so looks like that nonsense is behind us. Still Friday and Saturday were pretty rough days. Seems the MASSIVE bump of anti-convulsants threw Mrs. Weer’d into a deep depression. Lots of uncontrolled sobbing, staring at the wall, and a voice that was barely above a whisper.

This morning wasn’t much better. Then for whatever reason at about noon suddenly she started turning the corner on it. She’s doing really well now. She won’t be 100% for a few days yet, but we all knew these side effects would be transient, as she had no ill effects (besides lack of energy) with the drug for most of her life.

I just didn’t expect the effect to vanish so quickly!

We’d both like to thank all for the well wishes and kind words expressed to us over these rough days. Also to the people who have created the chocker-block full fridge we have now. (Give us a few days to eat before sending more food please! :D) Things are looking up!

“Gun Death” Bat

Amazing what can cause deaths that aren’t “Gun Deaths”.

Warrington police and Bucks County officials are investigating a double homicide that occurred Friday evening, which resulted in suicide.

According to Warrington police, officers responded to the 100 block of Redstone Drive after receiving a call around 9:30 p.m. from Christopher Moyer, who said he bludgeoned his wife and son to death with a baseball bat….Upon investigation, police say they were able to identify Moyer as the person who was struck by a train and killed in Hatboro. Police believe it to be a suicide.

So his wife and son are beaten to death by a piece of sporting equipment, and he took his own life by getting in the way of a train. No guns, no “Gun Death”. I suspect this was a home of domestic disputes, it usually is. This has been used by people who work for the Joyce Foundation that domestic violence can be solved by getting rid of guns.

There will still be bats…and trains.

Deep Thoughts

From Joan Peterson:
Here Here Here Here and Here

no background check, no gun, no excuses- I’m just sayin’

Same words, variations in punctuation, repeated over and over again. No interest in discussing it, no interest in talking about it, just spamming the world.

When I say our opponents are idiots I mean it, and I have proof.

All people who support gun control are idiots…I’m just sayin’! 😉

**UPDATE** One more, seriously, when you can be replaced by an African Gray Parrot, you’re not the sharpest tool in the shed!

Lying

Joan Peterson has decided to implement a commenting policy. Sebastian has some interesting observations on it.

My First thought when I was reading the post was “Is she even going to make a remote attempt to follow her own rules?”. It’s been well documented before that people running anti-gun blogs with comment sections will often claim rules violations for deleting a post, but in actuality no such violations can be found.

This has lead to the habit of keeping a log of your comments and then publishing the unpublished comments on your own blog. There are too many such posts to count out there.

Well Joan doesn’t even want to APPEAR consistent. Read these comments below.

I was wondering when you would weigh in, Bryan. You are one of the most published commenter on my blog. I got tired of you making so many comments the other day that I asked you to take a rest. Maybe that’s why not all of your comments get published.

You see, while he’s not rude, inappropriate, or in violation of her rules…he was just commenting “Too Much”. I guess that’s a hidden rule.

Bob S.- I believe I stopped publishing your comments quite a while ago.

Now we all know Bob, as a matter of fact Christina said when she met him she was “constantly looking for his Halo”. Look I’m a crass, salty dude who has ZERO sympathy for the Anti-Gun types. I was there, I was anti-gun, seemed like a good idea, and a noble cause…until I looked at the facts. I either had to sell my soul and lie that a cause that gets good people killed and does NOTHING to disarm violent and dangerous people, and makes life harder for lawful people looking to protect their lives, enjoy sport and collecting, and practice their constitutional rights.

Sorry, people who support Gun control on a professional or semi-professional level are evil whores, and I’m not afraid of calling them that.

Now people like Bob and Bryan have a lot more patience than me, and follow Joan’s foolish rules, and still get deleted.

The bottom line is Joan Peterson is a liar, and a peddler of misinformation. Those of us who comment on anti-gun blogs simply do it to challenge the lies and sideways arguments.

For the lie to be kept alive they can’t let every argument stand. While she lies that she is following a posted policy now, she also makes it clear that she isn’t interested in actually following it.

“Gun Death” Good Justice

A rough case, but at least the courts are viewing it the right way.

A jury in U.S. District Court in New Haven has decided a Bridgeport drug dealer should be sentenced to death for the gruesome murders of three people in 2005.

Azibo Aquart, 30, was found guilty May 23 of using a baseball bat to beat to death Tina Johnson, 43, James Reid, 40, and Basil Williams, 54. After a month-long trial, the jury took only three hours to find Aquart guilty of the killings. The same jury decided Wednesday to sentence Aquart to death.

Mass murder with a baseball bat. I thought only guns could be used for such things because they made murder “Too easy”. Seems Connecticut is doing a good job at taking out their trash. Hopefully they won’t drag their asses in giving these chumps the needle.

New Firearms Podcast

In all this hooplah I forgot what I listened to on my ride up to Maine.

JP-556 of Eyes Never Closed has decided to start up a firearms podcast called Empty Mags he’s got one episode up now. Has some few technical glitches, but overall its a solid podcast.

And just think he’s just getting started, this will only get better!

Go have a listen!

Well it was a Long Night

I think the total was 6 seizures last night. Needless to say the Mrs. is feeling VERY sore and tired (having all your muscles tense and spasm all at once is like the worlds nastiest Pilates class) Thankfully no more tongue chomping.

Talked to the doctor at about 1:30am (she sounded fresh as a daisy, dunno if she was up doing work or if she’s a good faker) and she recommended a further increase on the anti-convulsants which we administered (and it was a pain in the ass as of this time she could barely keep her eyes open and wasn’t really understanding what was happening). She had one last one at about 2am, and then the meds must have reached a therapeutic dose because she fell asleep and that was that.

I watched her for close to another hour, my mind twisted with sleep and adrenaline, just waiting for the next wild ride.

I’ll definitely need to catch a nap this afternoon. I think we’re out of the woods for now.

Appointment with the Doctor on Tuesday where we’ll talk some more about this and how we’ll go forward.
