Ban Bridges, its only “Common Sense”!
MELBOURNE, Australia – A man pulled over on a highway bridge, took his 4-year-old daughter out of the car and dropped her over the side to her death Thursday in Australia’s second-largest city, police said.
Bridges are also a common tool for suicide, and there are common fatal accidents involving bridges. Why do we, as a modern civilized society even have bridges, they are designed only to KILL! You can’t even hunt with bridges!

There has been a lot of pretty bold statements made in support to the McCarthy Magazine Ban. Mostly they are saying greater than 10 round capacity magazines are weapons of mass destruction, tools of mass murder, and only used by the deranged. (Bonus points if the cultist talks about 30+ round magazines, and avoids the fact that the law would also ban 11+ round magazines.)
I’d link an exact quote from Joan Peterson of the Brady Campaign, but we’re in the middle of a boycott. Still the best rebuttal is “If 11+ round magazines are only good for mass murder and destruction, why do we exempt police from this law?” I mean it makes sense, we don’t issue police flame throwers because those ARE weapons of mass destruction that are difficult to use defensively and to avoid collateral damage. If its true (hint its supported by the anti-freedom cult) then wouldn’t it mean police are out to murder and destroy if they have modern pistols and rifles?
The response by Joan on several occasions has been to the effect: “Police need these weapons to fight against gangs who are armed with military assault weapons…”
Or something like that. So my question would be, if there are heavily armed paramilitary gangs roving the streets of every town in America that feels the need to issue a double-stack pistol and/or a carbine to their beat officers…are these deadly gangs ONLY attacking Police Officers? My home town issues Glock 22 pistols, and I’d be surprised if there wasn’t an AR-15 in the trunk of most patrol cars with 20 or 30 round magazines. If the police who are walking around me at all times in danger of such massive terrorist attacks, then shouldn’t I also be armed up for my own protection?
Remember, if you carry a gun, have a high-capacity long-gun for a home invasion or the breakdown of law and order, you’re paranoid, or maybe a psychopath…but the Police need exemptions from just about every gun law and civil rights law so they can be armed to the teeth to fight the marauding street gangs, as well as search people minding their own buisness for permits and weapons because they could snap at any moment…or be undercover agents of the marauding street gangs.
And note this is happening in sleepy middle-American town America….you know the one, that has one full-time beat officer, but you can tell because that’s a Glock in his holster…
Its not like this is an outlier.

You may have seen this video from the beginning of the week, but if you haven’t please do. And it might be worth a second look because its a really good speech.
Rand Paul is calling for Congress to obey the constitution when it comes to declarations of war.
Of course its stupid we even have to discuss this, as its illegal, and congress has just been choosing to allow the President full-authority in authorization of force.
And of course the vote LOST 90-10! Not only are they breaking the law, but they’re also slitting their own throats by ignoring their own legal rights and powers!
This is very similar to what we talked about with Fudds here, spend enough time talking about gun ownership in terms of shooting ducks, deer, and paper, and soon that becomes “That’s the way its always been”, same goes for the illegal requirement for me to get a permit to have a large gathering on public land, or many other violations of the basic rights of the US Constitution.
Of course the usual suspects won’t give this much attention. See they were all for proper declaration of war when they hated the guy declaring it, now that they like the guy pulling the stunts, they’re all for it. They don’t even have the foresight to realize that there will be another guy they hate in the Whitehouse.
Nope stories like this are more relevant to them.

I tell you, Alan Gura is a Rock star of human rights! This particular case is against the City of Chicago’s refusal to allow anybody to open a gun club in the city limits. I imagine every anti-rights stooge must quake when he enters the room.

Its always sad to see a relative begin to show signs of dementia, but in this case it is really out-of-hand!
A 92-year-old woman is set to stand trial for allegedly killing her 98-year-old husband after more than 70 years of marriage.
Clara Tang is charged with stabbing and bludgeoning her wealthy husband to death in their home in Sydney, Australia last year, the Sun-Herald reported….She has pleaded not guilty due to mental illness. Her lawyers say she suffers from dementia and had feared her husband was trying to poison her.
A sad case, indeed. I’ll add that Australia has some very strict knife-control laws. Of course the only “Common Sense” solution to this problem will be to Euthanize all adults on their 80th Birthday. If you harbor an Octogenarian you too can face Euthanization. Its simple “Common Sense”!
