Come and Bash Me!

A Quote of the Day goes to Mike W.

I think the sole reason we don’t often see pro-gun folks being violently attacked by virtulently anti-gun bigots is because their would-be victims are armed. You don’t hear of PinkPistols members being gay-bashed either. I believe many of them would commit violence against us (or have someone else do so) if the opportunity presented itself and we didn’t have the means to fight back.

There are a million jokes about people having sex with sheep and pigs. And there was this little “Brothel” in Washington.

But you don’t hear much about people having sexual congress with Lions, Bears, or Tigers. Hell Zappa Chronicled a story of sexual congress with a Mud Shark but you won’t hear such things with a Bull Shark, or a Tiger Shark, or a Great White.

Why? Because such things won’t stand for abuse and has the power to say “No” in their own universal language.

Gun owners are like that. People WANT to do horrible unthinkable things to us, and often they aren’t even secretive about it!, hell Some are so lazy they want you to do the deed yourself!

But they don’t act on their fantasies, while other hate groups do. Why not? Because we have the power to universally say “No” by returning force to those who wish harm upon us.

“One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that ‘violence begets violence.’ I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure—and in some cases I have—that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy.” -Col Jeff Cooper

I was making my own design “Islamic Rubble Don’t Make Trouble” with nice B-52 sticks a fallin’ pic on the front t-shirt at a eating house in Asstoon Texas. I was in line to pay and a feller said “I’m surprised somebody doesn’t try to beat you to death wearing something like that in this town” chuckling, and I turned to face him and he saw my perfectly legal large skinner on belt and said “You probably carry too…” I didn’t say anything accept thanks for liking my t-shirt design….

Everybody around where I live far enough away from the asstoon hippies to not have to smell them except when they come out here bicycling or to go to their yuppie stables and fancy people’s houses are armed to the TEETH and total murders, rapes, and assaults, since I bought this spread a number of years back in my actual area of existence? ZERO, unless you count one fight at the biergaarden between two drunkards. Armed to the teeth and POLITE.

You have to go in to the cities to find unarmed violent rude people.

    Threat of violence PREVENTS violence.–Thomas

That’s the coolest one-liner I’ve seen in awhile.

I had a guy at work who was a heavy anti and I asked him if he wanted to come over to my house and poke my resident skunk with a sharp stick. He laughed and said, no.

Then I asked him why not?

Giving up the right to say “no!’ or “stop”, makes a person a victim, a subject.

Leading to a pretty much pointless life.

Being able and willing to protect oneself, others and properties is a respponsibility no one should ever give. Poke me witha sharp stick and I’ll stick it somewhere you won’t like.

And that is pretty much the primary reason why a lot of anti-rights nuts support gun control – because they know better, because they can show you how to live your life better, and if you object, well, obviously, you just do not understand, so they will have to forcibly show you.

Of course, at the same time, they are spineless cowards, and unwilling to forcibly inflict their utopia on us when there is a chance, a possibility, of us fighting back. They value their lives more than they value their goals, and I guess there is something to be said for that… if it were not for the fact that they are willing to send other people in their stead to do their dirty work.

Self-defense is a natural right, in every semblance of that phrase – only, while animals have scents, and teeth, and claws, we mere humans only have our brains, and any development coming out of those brains that is applicable for self-defense is our equivalent of teeth and claws and whatever else. For such a simple concept, a lot of people have problems with it…

But it also entrusts that life to whoever takes that right away. We speak of the “Nanny State” or the “Daddy State” with great disdain, but we cannot forget that there are countless people who are grown adults who are perfectly comfortable to live a lazy life under Mommy’s Skirts.

As an armed citizen we’ve already realized the truth that we are the only people we can depend on for our healthy and safe existence, that is not a pleasant reality, and even less pleasant when you look to yourself and see somebody not very capable.

Hence why so many avoid it.
