“Gun Death” Religious Insanity

This one is a whopper!

Police in Georgia have arrested a man and his young adult daughter after they allegedly starved to death his 15-month-old infant child and left three other children and a young adult woman emaciated in a hotel room, authorities said on Friday.

The 44-year-old man and his 23-year-old daughter were both arrested and charged with first-degree murder, malice murder and 6 counts of cruelty to children and a disabled adult, the Gwinnett County Police said in a statement.

The father was also charged with rape, incest and aggravated sodomy of the young adult daughter, police said. Both suspects are being held without bail at a local jail.

After reading that far I was REALLY curious on what was going on. Was he some sort of caretaker gone evil, had he kidnapped these people?

Officials later discovered that two of the surviving children were mothered by the man’s young adult daughter, while the other surviving child and the starved infant were birthed by the emaciated victim. All of the children were five years old or younger, police said.

Ummm…

Police found literature relating to the Nuwaubian Nation of Moors While executing a search warrant. The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the belief system as a black separatist cult founded by Dwight York in the 1970s and based in Georgia.

Oh and if the “Moors” part didn’t tip you off, it’s a Sect of Islam, funny how that was left out…

Either way, all this nonsense and insanity, it wasn’t a “Gun Death”.

Cocktail Blogging: The Shake

Found this VERY interesting video:

Just amazing with the cocktail flare! That’s a good way to get tips in the jar!

Still I have my reservations. He’s beating that drink within an inch of it’s life. You can clearly see the frost on the shaker, so that drink is as cold as physically possible, likely subzero temperatures…but unless he is using VERY large well-made ice, there is going to be a lot of ice shards floating in that drink, which frankly I don’t care for.

Now the drink he’s making is a VERY classic Gimlet (I personally don’t see a point in simple syrup as it just adds sweetness without taste or character, so when I mix one I add a shot of triple sec, and just because it really ties the drink together, a few dashes of orange bitters) Now the traditional rules of bartending is any drink that is pure translucent booze (so your martinis, your Manhattans, your negronis, the Bijou (Seriously, give this one a try) you should stir (or in my case gently swirl the spirits around the ice in the shaker) This minimizes air bubbles and chipped ice in the drink, leading to a crystal clear drink in the glass. A shaken drink is much more different than a stirred one than you might think, besides the clarity of the drink, there’s the mouth feel. A stirred drink is silky in the mouth, while a shaken one is velvety. Both are pleasant sensations, but they are quite different.

The one exception I’ll make to this rule is if you’re serving the drink on the rocks, like the Carte Blanche, the air bubbles quickly collect and condense against the ice so shaking the drink simply makes it colder faster.

Now for drinks using opaque ingredients or fruit juice, and especially egg whites (I really need to experiment with those) the rule is to shake. Look at that lime juice he’s using. It’s cloudy, so the rule is just shake that drink and let the bubbles work with that. Still you want to aerate the drink, not turn it into the Weddell Sea with ice bergs. Just shake it hard for about 10-20 seconds and strain. You’ll get more leeway with better ice, and by better I mean larger. Big cubes or spheres will be more reluctant to chip or dilute the drink. This certainly goes for the bars that use ice machines to make their ice. Those machines make LOTS of ice, but they chip and shatter like crazy under hard shaking.

So those are my feelings on shaken vs. stirred.

How do you take yours?

“Gun Death” Helping At a Crash

This is a sad one:

Mark A. Ferguson, 27, fell about 100 feet into the Stones River on the eastern outskirts of Nashville. Nashville police said Ferguson was a good Samaritan who died tragically after he and three brothers stopped to help possible victims in a one-car accident on Interstate 40.

…Alan and John walked up the highway to alert oncoming traffic to slow down. After a single police officer arrived and took over directing traffic, the brothers regrouped.

“We talked about maybe going out and see if we can find this guy and then tell the police where to find him,’’ Alan said. “We didn’t know the situation. We thought there might be someone injured or disoriented out there.’’

Alan said the brothers had no idea they were on a bridge above a river.

“Just standing there, it felt like it was the same grade on the other side of the barrier,’’ he said.

After watching Mark quietly jump over the barricade, Alan borrowed a flashlight from the police officer to illuminate the terrain for his brother.

“That’s when we realized we had a serious situation,’’ he said.

Mark didn’t die on impact. He made his way toward the bank as his brothers scrambled to the water’s edge. They pulled Mark from the water and waited with him as other police officers arrived. He was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from injuries in the fall.

Essentially this was a drunk-driving crash, and the departed was trying to locate the driver who had left the scene to either help police, or help him if he was injured. They didn’t realize they were on a bridge, so when he jumped over the barrier to what he thought was a ditch into the woods….

Of course all of this could have been avoided if Drunk driving were illegal! Much like how “Gun Death” could be avoided if guns were illegal!

Let’s Get a Science Lesson From an Idiot

John Kerry is a dumb man, hell his grades at Yale were WORSE than George W Bush! (What people fail to mention is that Bush was also abusing drugs and alcohol at this time at a very destructive level!)

But Hey, let’s listen to him lecture us in Science!

Look at that, Kerry compares The Greenhouse Effect Global Warming Climate Change is an “elementary truth” like Gravity.

Remember when we landed a probe on a fucking COMET? We did that COMPLETELY because of our understanding of Gravity. See gravity is predictive! We knew the relative density and size of the comet, calculated it’s mass, and from that figured out it’s gravitational pull. Used that number to calculate how much thrust would be needed to land on the comet’s surface, and even when a landing hook failed to deploy the probe still touched down on the surface without flying off into space.

We had never been to the comet before, but because this science is truly settled we VERY accurately predicted the pull of gravity of this distant, and comparatively strange object enough to both orbit and land on it with a delicate probe.

There’s the big fallacy of “Climate Change” (besides the fact that they keeping changing the name of their pet theory, without changing the scientific rational behind it…it’s still the fucking Greenhouse effect from my youth…only you never walk into a greenhouse and find it colder than the outside, so they can’t use that name any more than Global Warming) is that it is 100% non-predictive. We have all sorts of scientific models that show how this theory works, and when we ask it to predict the future it fails.

So this is just a theory, and it’s controversial because NOBODY can prove it is actually valid…and the people who HAVE claimed to have proven it LIED!

Hey, but John “Dumber than a Junkie” Kerry should lecture us on science!

“Gun Death” Mass Murder

This didn’t make the national news because no guns were used.

**REDACTED** had the right to remain silent on the brutal murders of four acquaintances last year, but he said plenty during than six hours of questioning by police last September

Just go read the whole thing, but if he had used a gun this would be a “Mass Shooting” and there were be dozens if not hundreds of articles written about this by the anti-rights “Progressives”…but since all he had was his bare hands and a head-full of crack (which just so happens to be illegal), this isn’t note worthy.

Ever wondered about that?

Antis Attempt the Ha-Has

The Brady Campaign is running out of money, but they saw this a a valid thing to blow their last few dimes.

So let’s just skip past the lies, because we all know Felons can’t OWN guns let alone carry them FEDERALLY, so just because Arizona doesn’t require carry permits doesn’t mean their imaginary thugs can legally pack, or that interstate trafficking in handguns is illegal on a federal level.

Remember they honestly believe that the law making it a crime to privately sell a handgun in Pennsylvania will make a Philly drug dealer switch to selling Avon, save for the Iron Pipeline supplying PA criminals with guns from Virgina, despite that being a serious federal crime.

Oh yeah, and no data showing that actually happens.

Still I was most amused when the criminal says “I want to shoot California SO BAD!” Have a look at the numbers! Boy that must be a safe state with all those gun traces! Yeah I know not all gun traces are for crimes committed…but all guns recovered at crime scenes are traced! And hey, look the vast majority of them come from INSIDE California, and for ALL traced guns the AVERAGE time-to-crime interval was 13.68 years! Yep that means for every dude that does the whole “Iron Pipeline” thing and smuggles a gun into LA from Vegas, there needs to be a gun used in a crime traced back to a legal sale during the Carter administration!

So really the criminals aren’t looking at states for how strictly they control their guns….but from violent crime data you see that they ARE looking for states that strictly control their GUN OWNERS!

Because nobody wants to get shot….and the Brady Campaign wants MORE people to get shot!

No Squirrel Report Tonight

Seems I’m the only one around this evening, and I had a rough day…so I’ll be watching Archer on Netflix.

Still if you want some podcast, you can listen to Ryan and I talk about the safety of carrying single-action guns on Handgun Radio

“Gun Death” Home Invasion

The antis say these never happen:

A man who pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and other charges in the slaying of a southwest Ohio teen has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

…Authorities said **DEPARTED** was strangled and stabbed in a burglary at his home near Waynesville. His body was dumped in Preble County, north of Dayton.

Oddly the invader didn’t seem to need a gun to kill the home owner. Still you think the home owner would have been worse off if he had been armed?

This is the ideal world that the antis who constantly talk “Gun Death” want for all of us!

Videos of Anti-Gunners And The Anti-Gun Reaction

There’s a pro-gun documentary film maker in Oregon who likes to film anti-gunners telling the truth. His Channel is here, go subscribe, but here’s a taste:

Yep they support “Responsible gun Ownership” and aren’t anti-gun…but she doesn’t see a point in 90% of all guns being legal.

Something has happened to the man who shot these videos:

William Saunderson, famous for his “Laughing At Liberals” videos on YouTube was brutally attacked and seriously injured during a meeting with the attacker, Skye Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald, also a videographer, is known for making various video documentaries. He was supposedly working on a “neutral” documentary about the ongoing gun debate and had called on several pro-gun activists including Saunderson to provide input for his latest film.

The two were meeting at a local Gresham restaurant to discuss a preview of the film being pitched by Fitzgerald and seen by Saunderson. Saunderson was upset that the film which had been touted for his input as neutral, was in fact, anti-gun biased.

Go read the whole thing, but essentially anti-rights documentarian Mr. Fitzgerald went off the handle when he found out his meeting with Mr. Saunderson was being recorded, stole his equipment and threw him to the ground hard enough that it has likely permanently crippled his left arm.

Anti-gunners are anti-gun because THEY are unhinged monsters, and think we are all the same as them.

Also reminds me of this story:

The reverend who organized gun buybacks and preached nonviolence, officials allege, was also running drugs and hiding gang tattoos below his clerical collar. He is charged with armed assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

There seems to be a pattern with anti-gunners…

“Gun Death” Domestic Violence

Doesn’t fit the narrative!

A southwest Ohio woman who police say was beaten and stabbed by her husband has died.

…The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that police say a 12-year-old girl called Oct. 8 and said her father hit her mother and blood was everywhere. Police arrived and took the woman to a hospital. They later arrested 36-year-old **REDACTED**.

Of course this bit is VERY relevant to the story:

Foust says **REDACTED** has a criminal record, including a no contest plea to a domestic violence charge earlier this year for which he was sentenced to six months in jail.

So the anti-gunners LOVE to talk about domestic violence, specifically the type of domestic violence that involves “Gun Death”. Really I should say “exclusively that involved ‘Gun Death'” because stories like this never are on their radar.

See this guy was a known criminal and known domestic abuser, and was barred from owning guns…and as far as I can tell owns no guns. Yet where is his wife now?

If you are in a violent relationship GET OUT NOW! The presence of guns, or even less severe violence is irrelevant. The antis focus on guns and domestic violence because they want to ban guns, not because they care about your, or anybody’s safety.

All the guns bans in the world wouldn’t have saved this woman’s life, but getting away might have.
