Bet she supports New York’s gun control laws, as well as the similar laws in the District of Columbia!

Rep. Grace Meng, D-N.Y., was robbed Tuesday night near Capitol Hill and has returned to her regular duties.

Meng said in a statement released Wednesday by her congressional office that she was walking toward her apartment after dinner when she was struck in the back of the head near Sixth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Her assailant took her purse before fleeing from the scene.

“While this was a frightening ordeal, I fortunately was not seriously injured,” Meng said. “Obviously, things could have been much worse. I thank the U.S. Capitol Police and the District of Columbia Police for responding quickly and professionally.”

You bet it could have been much worse! We’ve documented many cases where somebody was struck once from behind and died on the ground.

Still no gun was used, so SUCCESS!!

Canada has low gun death, eh?

WINNIPEG – A serial killer who was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in jail for killing two aboriginal women apologized to the victims’ families and blamed drug addiction for turning him into a “monster.”…Lamb told police he hit Sinclair, 25, over the head with an axe handle, strangled her and left her body in his bathroom for several days before he dumped it near a garbage bin.

He told police he strangled Blacksmith, 18, with a TV cord, tried to revive her and then left to buy more drugs. He eventually dumped her body behind an abandoned house where it wasn’t found until six months later.

So the murder weapon was an axe handle, and a TV Cord. Good thing nobody had a gun, otherwise there would have been a “Gun Death”!

Guns and Alcohol don’t mix…so obviously we must ban guns!

A 22-year-old woman arrested in the stabbing death of another woman outside a Maryland Parkway bar made a first appearance today in Las Vegas Township Justice Court….Madera was stabbed to death Tuesday outside Champagnes Cafe, 3557 S. Maryland Parkway, after a fight spilled out of the bar into the parking lot, according to a Metro Police report….Witnesses, including a bartender, told police the dispute apparently was triggered when Madera tripped Chavez’s boyfriend in the bar, according to the Metro report.

A series of arguments ensued and escalated into a three-way fight between Chavez, Madera and Madera’s sister, police said.

The fight spilled out a back door and into the parking lot.

Thankfully nobody had a gun!
