“Gun Death” Blanket

I like to Swaddle Little LaWeer’da to keep her calm and happy, but this is another thing:

To discipline a 3-year-old boy, three caretakers would wrap him tightly in a blanket and tie the ends to constrain him.

The child was wrapped up in that manner when he suffered a “horrible death,” police said.

Now, the two Florida women and one man who were watching Michael Lee McMullen are in county jail and charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child.

Horrible, and malignant. Does it make a difference that no guns were used?

“Gun Death” Arson

Ban Gasoline

The survivor of an arson fire that killed three members of his family accused his former lover in court yesterday of setting the blaze because he had spurned her and married another woman.

William Chen, 35, of Claymont, Del., testified in the Delaware Superior Court trial of Vicki Chao, 45, of Queens, N.Y.

Chao is charged with three counts each of murder and felony murder and one count each of arson and conspiracy in the March 9 deaths of Chen’s daughter, wife and mother. The victims, who all died of smoke inhalation, were Anna Chen, 2; her mother, Juo Jing Hong Chen, 31, and her grandmother, Lien Yu Chen, 56.

A second suspect, Tze Poong Liu, 57, also of Queens, is accused of being Chao’s accomplice. He will be tried separately on the same charges. Liu is being held without bail at Gander Hill Prison for a trial that is still to be scheduled….Investigators found a spring water jug containing gasoline at the scene. Present with the jug in court, Chen said that he had never seen it and that no one in his family ever drank spring water.

Things that everybody has access to, but very few of us commit brutal acts of murder. The same goes with guns and “Gun Death”

More from the Tiny Baby!

Man I really think we needed a bigger baby!

Infant Stroller

This met me at the train today! Seriously baby you are dwarfed by EVERYTHING!

And because my daughter lounges like a champ!

Lounging

Mommy Chair

Couch Baby

That last one is a Boppy Pillow which is for breast feeding, but I have yet to meet or hear of a single woman who uses it for that! Its really ideal for putting a baby inside of so they can sit on their own.

Back to daddy work!

Transition

Wow, what a day yesterday was!

Had a relatively normal day at work, despite my morning activities involving cleaning up poop.

People at work were interested in hearing baby stories, and many noted that I didn’t look too sleep deprived.

Got home and was met at the train by Mrs. Weer’d and little LaWeer’da, which was a REALLY pleasant surprise, and it gave me a chance to do more showing off of little baby!

Still I had enough energy to “Cook” dinner (scare quotes because my tools were a toaster oven and a microwave), but as soon as dinner was done, and little LaWeer’da had her food, I went into the armory to check the blog and found I couldn’t keep my eyes open.

We’ll see how tonight plays.

“Gun Death” Starting Young

Amazing that this could even happen.

Marine was charged in the slaying after authorities found Amanda’s body in a creek behind Marine’s house in Smyrna, Del. Amanda, a fourth grader whom prosecutors said Marine had been seen playing with the day of the slaying, also lived in Smyrna.

Marine may be the youngest person to stand trial for first-degree murder in Delaware, according to state Justice Department officials. In April, that distinction will go to LaToya Thompson, 14, of Wilmington, who at age 13 was arrested in the strangulation and suffocation death of her pregnant mother.

Marine allegedly beat and strangled Amanda on Nov. 20, 1987, during an argument over which of them had the right to play in the area near the creek, according to testimony from a psychologist during a July pretrial hearing.

No guns used, and it was just a child who did the murdering. Hey, but only “Gun Deaths” count!

“Gun Death” Bowling Ball

Well this is quite the story:

A 23-year-old New Jersey man was beaten to death Saturday during a massive brawl that erupted in a Piscataway bowling alley.

Jamont Atkins, of Newark, has died after someone threw a bowling bowl at his head in the melee inside Stelton Lanes, which hosted the College Bowling Bash party.

At around 1.30am, police responded to reports of fistfights inside the venue packed with some 257 party-goers….So far, no arrests have been made in connection to Atkins’ death, but Newark police detective Todd Ritter told the Star-Ledger that investigators are looking to talk to ‘people of interest,’

The “Common Sense” solution for this is to ban bowling alleys and any non-nerf balls!
