Not a death, but maybe a reason for a mandated vegan diet.
Authorities say a western Pennsylvania man beat his wife with a package of frozen ground beef, then ran away when police were called.
Its not unreasonable that somebody might be killed by blunt force from a frozen piece of meat. Of course can you imagine somebody being hurt as much with a bag of frozen peas?
OF COURSE NOT! MANDATORY VEGAN DIETS!!! IF IT SAVES JUST ONE LIFE!!!!
So first up I’m curious on how Blogger works for posts. Here at WordPress there is a big “Update” button and beside it is a tiny link marked “Move to Trash”. They’re pretty hard to mix up on a desktop computer screen, but maybe on a smartphone or tablet you might mash the wrong button. Still even then the post is moved to the trash where you need to manually go to the trash can page and delete it, either en-masse or individually. Its a fail safe system, which is a pain in the ass for the occasional time when I abort a blog post because I either something came up before I put any appreciable words to paper, or I decide the post isn’t worthy of Weer’d World. It really sucks to go through all of that when I’ve just written a title and decided I don’t want to write any more and need to go through all those extra steps so it doesn’t constantly remind me “There is 1 Item in Your Trash”.
Is it different for Blogger, because Joan Allegedly deleted a post by accident, and has another post up about it. I’m not buying it.
Still thankfully we live in the information age, and Joan’s post can be recreated with a little work by using the google cache for her page. I shot her the very link you just clicked just in case her mistake was honest. (If the post was legitimate then it should re-appear in all its unglory)
Still if, as I suspect, it was just an attempt to use the Memory Hole, then I’ll be nice and keep that cache here! Its just a screenshot, so links won’t work, but there it is.
What do you think, can this be done by a simple mistaken button mash, or was this a calculated move?
For those with fear of snakes, move on:
The mother of two small boys strangled by a 100-pound (45-kilogram) python in their sleep earlier this week in Canada had posted photos on Facebook last year of the boys playing in and cleaning her neighbor’s snake enclosure…The snake, an African rock python, apparently escaped from its enclosure, slithered through a ventilation system and fell through the ceiling into the room where the young boys were sleeping, authorities said. They had been visiting the apartment of a friend whose father owned an exotic pet store on the floor below.
The entire film “Anaconda” wasn’t that scary! Of course since this was a LIVING Python, and not a Colt Python this is not a “Gun Death” so it is not relevant to the anti-rights fanatics.

Sebastian has a post up on Joan calling for a “Discussion on Guns”. Go read the post, but especially go read the comments section, as there are a few brave, and potentially dubious gun control supporters dropping a few comments…tho not many follow-ups, so again Schrödinger’s “Progressive” strikes again!
Still Joan’s initial quote goes as following:
We do need to have a serious discussion about what’s going on in our country concerning guns and gun permit holders. I keep writing about gun permit holders causing harm to others and the “gun guys” keep denying that carrying guns in public is dangerous. The facts and actual incidents speak to my thesis that more guns in public places do not make us safer.
Now the first comment is somebody mentioning Sebastian’s post and his invitation to debate. Joan’s response is predictable:
Nope. There will be no discussion on that blog which regularly demeans me and calls me names. We will have the “discussion” on my blog if you want.
If you want? I’ll note that Sebastian has 45 comments on his thread, and more added every few minuets, meanwhile the last Comment on Joan’s post is August 30 at 6am, and made by Joan herself. One can only imagine the number of comments in her screening queue that she is simply deleting. Weather we like it or not Joan will not allow what she claims to desire.
We’re not calling you names, we’re just telling a VERY unflattering truth. What do you expect? You demand a discussion, and then actually expel an appreciable bit of energy to keep discussions from actually happening.
This is nothing new, we all remember the last appearance of Joan’s co-blogger and Joyce funded flunkie Jason “Baldr” Kilgore on this blog. It was just that, Jason was using my blog for his own personal soap box, and NOT engaging in debate. When I called him on this behavior he got nasty, and earned his title of “Troll”.
The LAST thing the antis want is a Debate, Discussion, or Dialog. Hell it even shows up in their own posts. Ever seen an anti support their opinions with and evidence NOT funded by the Joyce Foundation or Mayors Against Illegal Guns? You won’t! A) Because actual scientific study done by the FBI, CDC, ATF, and independent groups shows that there is either no correlation or a decrease in crime when gun restrictions are relaxed. There’s a new Harvard study (obviously not funded by Joyce as some previous ones have been) that says just that, you can read the PDF here. So rather than giving up their total stupidity they cook the books and make up “facts” and push those.
An open discussion is a sure-fire loss for them…but so is the denial of a discussion, so they keep DEMANDING a discussion, then never have it.
There’s a reason why they call them “Less Lethal”
Relatives are asking for an independent investigation into the death of a Miami Beach teen who died after police used a stun gun on him.
Israel Hernandez-Llach had turned 18 shortly before police found him spray-painting a shuttered building early Tuesday. The teen ran but was eventually cornered. Chief Ray Martinez says the teen ran at officers, one of whom and shot the teen in the chest with the stun gun. Hernandez-Llach went into medical duress and died at a hospital.
I think they mean Taser, rather than Stun Gun that is a contact weapon. Still play stupid games, win stupid prizes. No word if this is one of those Taser Deaths exacerbated by drugs, or if it was just dumb luck.
Still these officers didn’t read the manual supplied by the antis…only guns cause death!!
Why do you NEED power tools? Or Scissors for that matter.
A Northern California man is accused of stabbing his father with a pair of scissors before using a power saw to cut off his own hands.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jason Dunn pleaded not guilty on Monday in a Shasta County courtroom to an attempted murder charge in the attack on his father, Gregory. The Record Searchlight of Redding reports Jason Dunn appeared in court with his hands reattached but heavily bandaged.
We should have no tools at all I mean if it saves just ONE life!!!
I’ll probably be posting a bunch of videos from The Smoking Tire, as I like Matt’s style.
Still this video is MADE for this site. I would rather it be a cooler car, but I won’t complain:
Gun control is not popular, and when it raises its head it is ALWAYS the supported by the wealthy few rather than any form of grassroots majority:
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has thrown $350,000 behind an effort to fight the recall of two Colorado Democratic legislators for their votes in favor of sweeping new gun control laws.
Campaign finance paperwork filed Tuesday and obtained by KDVR.com showed that Bloomberg wrote a personal check to Taxpayers for Responsible Democracy, the group fighting the recalls targeting Colorado Springs Senate President John Morse and Sen. Angela Giron, of Pueblo.
The National Rifle Association has contributed more than $108,600 to try to unseat the Democratic incumbents. Most of the money has gone toward radio, Internet, and cable ads, as well as billboard advertising.
Remember, Bloomberg can’t vote in Colorado. He also does not live in Colorado, and never will. Coloradans can, get out that vote!
