Images of the Antis: Common Sense

I tapped another well of paid-anti-rights activist image galleries. This one is from the personal collection of one Jason Kilgore of Ceasefire Oregon.

Of course I must note the subliminal message of the child holding a rifle in a classroom…and obviously without proper supervision or training given the finger on the trigger.

Still you see this crap all the time. X is Illegal, but Y is Legal! Given that they are anti-freedom, not anti-gun their solution to that equation is to make BOTH items illegal.

In this image its a Kinder Egg

In 2000, the parents of three children in the United Kingdom who died after choking on Kinder toys campaigned for the products to be withdrawn from the European Union.[5] At least six children worldwide have died from choking on the toys.[6]

Defenders of the chocolates said that these had been unfortunate fatalities. This was discussed in the UK House of Commons[7][8][9] and also by the UK Department of Trade and Industry which said, “The child’s tragic death was caused by the ingestion of a small part of the egg’s contents. Many other products and toys with small parts are available in the market place. If we were to start banning every product that could be swallowed by a child, there would be very few toys left in the market.”[10]

So six children have died because they choked on the plastic toy inside the egg….which for a very popular candy is well beyond 1% of 1%. The anti-freedom people think banning this candy is PERFECTLY reasonable.

Oh yeah, they also want to ban your guns.

I say legalize the damn eggs, and give that little girl some proper training and education. But then again I’m rational, and Mr. Kilgore is anything but!

**UPDATE**
Oh I found this just before I left:

At least the kid is keeping her hand away from the trigger guard. (Kinda makes you think how these photos were staged. Here kid hold this rifle! Great message!)

Here’s the back-story on the “Banned” item (which you can buy online or at any bookstore without a background check!)

The fairy tale of a little girl who is led astray by a wolf while on the way to her grandmother’s house was banned by two California school districts because one of the refreshments for her grandmother that Little Red Riding Hood carried in her basket was wine.

How can they expect us to take them seriously! They are PRAISING the ban on a BOOK because there’s a bottle of wine in one of the illustrations. Just think, kids in school could find themselves LOOKING at a DRAWING of a bottle of WINE…then maybe go home and watch their PARENTS have a glass of WINE with dinner!!! ARMAGEDDON!!!1111!!!!

This is their argument! Why are we even giving them the time of day????

“Gun Death” Stabbing

No Guns Used.

Philadelphia police say an elderly food vendor was stabbed to death while loading his cart with supplies early Thursday morning.

The stabbing happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Vollmer Street in South Philadelphia.

According to investigators, 68-year-old Don Ly was loading his cart with food and supplies when he was approached by a man who stabbed the victim in the neck.

Not sure the motive. No mention of a robbery, or any other altercation. So much for “just give them what they want”…of course this won’t be talked about because there is no “Gun Death” therefore it isn’t relevant!

Rogue Waves

One of these bastards nearly killed me one fall on George’s bank.

Got a face-full of another on a flat calm day at sea that left me bruised and laughing on the deck after being flipped like a rag-doll.

They also don’t stick around long enough to be measured as they tend to only exist at one point in time, rather than the standing waves of normal swells.

Both of the waves that hit me I never saw, I was fine one moment, and then I was seeing nothing but foam.

I have seen watery mountains rise up out of the surrounding seas and then vanish before, very strange!

On That Hoffstra Shoot

I’m a bit late to the party, but I thought I’d share my thoughts on this sad event:

A Hofstra University student being held in a headlock at gunpoint by an intruder was accidently shot and killed by a police officer who had responded to the home invasion at an off-campus home, police said Saturday.

Here’s the details

Azzata said the Nassau County police officer fired eight shots at Smith, who police described as having an “extensive” criminal background. Smith was hit seven times and died. Rebello was shot once in the head.

“He kept saying, `I’m going to kill her,’ and then he pointed the gun at the police officer,” Azzata said.

As horrible as it went, I have to say good shoot. First up, an innocent life was being threatened AND the officer was being threatened, the attacker could have killed any of them at any moment. Also all shots fired but the tragic one made their mark, and only 8 shots were fired. This was not the shameful mag-dumps we used to read about more frequently. I don’t even think I can shame officer training, which is generally too lax, as this was likely a VERY difficult shot.

I don’t think we should really look too much at the officer, but more WHY he was in this situation in the first place:

Earlier Saturday, police announced that Smith, 30, had been wanted on a parole violation related to a first-degree robbery conviction and had an arrest history dating back nearly 15 years.

Sounds like JUST the man that needs to be out on the streets. Oh, and this is New York, where people are disarmed, now by the very ironic “SAFE Act”.

Rebello was in the two-story home with her twin sister Jessica, a third woman and a man when Smith, wearing a ski mask, walked into the house through an open front door, Azzata said. Smith demanded valuables and was told they were upstairs, Azzata said.

Smith, apparently unsatisfied with the valuables upstairs, asked if any of the four had a bank account and could withdraw money, Azzata said. The intruder then allowed the unidentified woman to leave and collect money from an ATM, telling her she had only eight minutes to come back with cash before he killed one of her friends, Azzata said.

The woman left for the bank and called 911, according to Azzata.

Minutes later, two police officers arrived at the home and found Rebello’s twin sister Jessica running out of the front door and the male guest hiding behind a couch on the first floor, Azzata said.

You don’t need a gun to protect yourself! Just give them what they want!

What if what you have isn’t enough? What if they want to rape or murder you?

We’re putting all the weight on the police to protect us from criminals who SHOULD still be in prison, yet we let them go, and disarm their victims. Is there ANYTHING right about that?

“Gun Death” Weak Heart

Guns make killing too easy!

Police say a 50-year-old man died three days after suffering a heart attack during a physical fight with his daughter, and the teenage girl has been booked on suspicion of manslaughter.

The San Jose Mercury News reports the man, Hoang Tran, was shoved to the ground during the altercation at his home April 6.

Even a teenage girl (Asian pedigree assumed) is capable of killing an adult man in unarmed combat. Hey but just look the other way, as no guns were used!

This guy in Libby’s class, possibly named Marshall, is apparently doing a project in which he’s trying to get a duckling to imprint on him. Because they Can’t Let it Be Fair

Looks like Travon Martin’s past will NOT be allowed in court!

Lawyers for George Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Trayvon Martin, will be barred from mentioning Mr. Martin’s marijuana use, history of fights or high school suspension during opening statements in Mr. Zimmerman’s trial, which begins June 10.

At a hearing Tuesday in a Seminole County court, Circuit Judge Debra Steinberg Nelson denied a string of defense motions concerning evidence that was intended to portray Mr. Martin as a troubled teenager with a propensity for fighting and an interest in guns. Prosecutors argued that such evidence had nothing to do with Mr. Martin’s death.

Because why would ANY of that be relevant. I mean just because somebody is a habitual drug user with a past history of violence, theft, and juvenile delinquency, that doesn’t have anything to do with claims that Mr. Zimmerman was assaulted and was fighting for his life against a teen who he suspected was casing homes to rob.

I’m also sure Zimmerman will get the same treatment, and the prosecution will not mention the messy breakup with his fiancee, or the dropped criminal charges for assaulting an undercover officer who failed to identify himself.

They’re just fixin’ for a lynching!

Right To Die

I’ve never got the whole opposition to doctor assisted suicide:

So long as the decision is mutual with the patient still of sound mind, and the administration is done by the patient themselves. It seems odd that we will allow our pets to die comfortably and with dignity, but yet won’t let our own people do the same, even if they are BEGGING for it.

Also these doctor assisted methods can be safer, cleaner, and have less potential harm to others than many more traditional suicide methods.

Why are we even discussing this? I couldn’t think of anything more reasonable!
