Not quite ready to give up on her presidential ambitions, comedian Roseanne Barr is joining up with activist Cindy Sheehan for a new run at the White House.

Fox News has learned that over the past few days Barr asked Sheehan to join her in an attempt to win the little-known Peace and Freedom Party’s line on the California ballot.

A party official told Fox News that Barr, who failed in her attempt earlier this year to win the Green Party nomination, has a “fairly high chance” of securing the spot after she again reached out to Peace and Freedom leaders several weeks ago. This was something her campaign explored months ago, but Green Party rules forbid crossover nominees so Barr abandoned that effort.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

*deep breath*

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

Super Rifle Showdown!

Neat Little video

They’re really both great rifles, and I like his objectivity. Also his ruling based on what rifle he reaches for when he’s going out or hitting the range is probably the best personal endorsement one can give. I knew when I was dragging my SKS to the range and leaving my AK behind it was time to sell the AK.

Still, at the price both of these rifles are commanding, I don’t know if I wouldn’t be better off just buying an AR-15 for half to a quarter the price and calling it good.

“Gun Death” Train

We need more laws!

A young man was struck and killed by a DART train while walking on the tracks in the dark Thursday night….Ball said the 21-year-old man had been illegally walking on the tracks in the train’s right-of-way when he was hit and killed.

Common sense law that says you can’t walk on the train tracks…so why was this man killed? Oh wait, he was killed by a TRAIN, not a GUN! No “Gun Death”, move along!

Sikh Temple Shooting

There was a mass-shooting in a Sikh Temple today. The antis are dancing in the blood.

Me I’m waiting for more information before I do an in-depth post. All I will say at this hour is my heart goes out to the victims, and I’d like to express my Solidarity with the Sikh people. I’ve known several Sikhs in my travels, and have several close friends who grew up in the Punjabi region of India where the most Sikhs live. I can’t say a single bad thing about them, and I’m disgusted by the people who assume just because a man wears a beard and a turban he’s somehow connected to terrorism.

Let’s keep the political comments to a minimum in the comment section here, but I would appreciate any factual information any of you have on this shooting and the pertinent laws that apply to this incident.

“We’re Not Coming For Your Guns”

Well given that the antis have never EVER claimed Gun X is OK for civilians to own, and have rampaged against.
-Small Easily Concealable guns
-Big Powerful guns
-High Powered Sniper Rifles
-Armor-piercing “cop-killer” ammo (meaning anything that defeats type IIA ballistic armor…AKA any center fire rifle round)
-Semi-auto guns that are “too inaccurate, and bullet hoses”
– Bolt action guns that are “long range sniper weapons”

Hell they’re now railing against the pump-action shotgun used by the asshole in Colorado.

They seem to be covering EVERYTHING.

I don’t own a single gun they haven’t spoken about wanting to ban.

So they don’t want me to buy any MORE guns….what are they going to do about somebody like me with such an “Arsenal”?

If they aren’t coming for my guns, they sure aren’t making any effort to reassure me.

Hell Joan Peterson had no problem praising England for forcing lawful gun owners to give up their guns for “fair compensation”.

To quote Dianne Feinstein:
“If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them, Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in, I would have done it.”

They aren’t talking full-on confiscation ONLY because they don’t have the votes or support!

Sorry, but you ARE coming for my guns. You’re being pretty open about it! The only reason why you’d try to assure me you aren’t is so you can get close enough to stick a knife in my back.

Nope, sorry!

I wouldn’t call them “conclusive”, but I stand by my claims that 9×19 and .45 ACP (11.43x23mm for people who like the metric designation, like myself) are damn near identical, so use what you like!

Why I Don’t Mix Politics and my Film Watching

I know people who try not to patronize film and art done by people who are against their political or moral ideals.

I don’t do that. I just watched Chinatown for the first time this morning.

Roman Polanski is a monster who should die in prison for the horrible crimes he did…but I’ll be damned if he isn’t an amazing director.

Also I’m curious with such a great Noir flavor to this film, I’m wondering how many pointers John Houston gave Polanski, as Houston is the Noir master!

“Gun Death” Mass Stabbing

A teenager killed eight people with a knife and wounded five more in northeast China after falling out with his girlfriend, state media said Thursday.

The teen killed two of her family members and six more people before fleeing, the state-run Legal Daily newspaper said. It reported he was caught but did not describe the circumstances.

Not much more you can say. No Gun, no “Gun Death”, this is the world the antis want for us!
