Wow! I’m like 90% done, but I needed to come in for a break before I could finish. Today has gone from snow to sleet to now freezing rain. The snow it totally frozen now and the work is cold, miserable, and back-breaking.
I long to sit in my Adarondak chairs on a warm summer evening. FYI said chairs are buried under over 2 feet of snow and ice.
Well at least since these storms come about twice a week, I’ve been able to skip my evening workouts!
So the weather sucks. I guess this nasty storm system is over most of the US. I told the Boss not to expect me in today. The wife’s company is closed. Our critters will be looked after as the other guy decided to rent a hotel room up the street from the lab and kick back and relax. Also exposing his cruel side he told his landlord he had to fly to New York, so she’ll shovel his parking spot.
I shoveled out about 8″ of snow last night, then went to bed only to find it had returned.
Gonna lay low until maybe after lunch before I go out there.
BTW how the fuck does a groundhog get out of his hole if its under three feet of snow and ice???

Helpful suggestion, that. Just move to a place where gun laws suit you if you don’t like the ones where you live. That’s the first time I’ve heard that one. So if I don’t like the laws where I live, just pick up, get a new job ( pretty easy in this climate) leave my family and friends and move. That’s certainly one way to do it….Yes, for sure. The apocalypse is coming!!! Just like in Egypt. Get on the streets with your guns and demand that our tyrannical duly elected government should step down….Many more people have died due to bullets in our country than any country not at war, Aztec Red. Yes, we do have a “peaceful” country if you don’t count the mass shootings and daily shootings.

As for the points made, I’ve been told if I want guns to join the army on may occations. I’ve even been told to Emigrate to Iraq or Somalia because the people run around with machine guns. I’ve also been told to Move to New Hampshire by my compatriots. For the time I’ll stay here and do what I can to fight for my rights, or hope others might come here to fight the good fight. As much as we do joke Massachusetts IS part of America, and not only is under the US Constitution, but its own state constitution:

LOL If all 26 states rule it unconstitutional, still means nothing! Two states have ruled it constitutional.
Kinda like Jim Crow laws? If two states make it legal to hang a black man for holding hands with a white woman, or force them to use separate bathrooms or lunch counters. Or if two states make it illegal for a woman to terminate a pregnancy. Or if two state ban the practice of Islam….

They are the worst drivers in the country. What’s interesting is a particularly bad one will honk at you for NOT breaking the law. Driving only a few miles OVER the speed limit? Stopping at a Red Light? yielding the right-of-way? Honk Honk, and look for the optional finger!
But it doesn’t stop there. I got honked at for stopping on an off-ramp this morning because there were 3 cars stopped ahead of me.
Yep not only will you be honked at for obeying the traffic laws, you’ll get honked at for obeying the laws of physics!!!

Here’s another one of those sketchy situations where it pays to be vigilant and trust no one! Online Sales with a face-to-face meet-up.
After a series of events that included a police car chase and a collision with a yellow cab, the BMW was found in Upper Manhattan on Wednesday morning, its front end crushed. Mr. Blake, who the police believe was driving the BMW at the time of the collision, was gone, but the police officers examining the wreck found Mr. Ajimotokan.
He was in the trunk – alive, barely, though he was bound, with multiple stab wounds and with his ear partially severed.
Looks like the police are still piecing things together, tho a more recent story can be found here. When somebody you don’t know sets up a meeting, be it a car sale or a blind date you should NEVER trust them until they are otherwise vetted.
Hopefully Mr. Ajimotokan will make a full recovery. And let him rest assured that because his injuries were called by a knife, this is NOT a “Gun Death”!
