Just White People…

Saw this video, and was surprised at how much it flies in the face of how the other side likes to marginalize anti-tax protests.

Now of course I’ll let you make your own race-based judgments, as I said before for me to make any claims is bullshit.

Still I think the example just shows that if you look at a group of people unhappy with government waste it will simply reflect a cross-section of the up-standing population.

Passive Agressive Asshole

So I haven’t spent any time covering John Kerry’s new boat, and his transgressions with it, as People like Jay covered it, as well as all the local news stations have been covering it to death. Its an amusing story, but not really worth putting pen-to-paper with me. I mean I wouldn’t want the appearance of a circle jerk, now would I? (Hehehehe)

Still This story today is worth a read for this line alone:

Kerry issued a statement in the late afternoon, pledging payment.

“We’ve reached out to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and made clear that, whether owed or not, we intend to pay the equivalent taxes as if the boat’s home port were currently in Massachusetts,’’ Kerry said. “That payment is being made promptly.’’

“whether owed or not, we intend to pay”??? What an obnoxious little turd! Dude you and your wife have multiple mansions and large sums of money, don’t you have a tax attorney and a personal accountant? I suspect you do know weather the money is owed or not, and that directly reflects your intention to pay.

Look I get the idea of a tax shelter (tho from all accounts up until recently this boat has been moored off of Nantucket so the point is moot, from my understanding of the law) but when somebody like John Forbes Kerry decides to skirt taxes, but uses his power as a senator to INCREASE all of our taxes, that’s a bit rich, and hypocritical, wouldn’t you say?

Also, I will add that it was definitely a dick move to have the boat built in New Zealand and then sailed to Rhode Island for registration…then sailed to Nantucket where the Senator summers, when there are countless world-class boat yards in the North East. Americans are out of work, and shipyards are hurting because normal people aren’t having boats built. Total Dick move, and now he has the gall to whine about it, and give the appearance of being cheated by the system.

God I can’t wait until he’s up for re-election!

Chilling Case

This Blood-Chilling Story sent to me by Reader BlackHawk101

A British father is believed to have gone on a murderous rampage, butchering his wife and two daughters — ages 1 and 2 — before hanging himself at their home in Fordingbridge, a small market town in southern England.

Reading the details I was reminded of one of the first Gun Death story from this blog. The details are quite similar, dead wife, and dead babies….

she saw the bodies of the little girls — Phoebe, 2, and Nereya, 1 — side by side in their parents’ double bed. She told Sky News that the sisters “looked beautiful, like they were asleep.” The girls’ peaceful appearance led Brooks to initially suspect they had been suffocated, but medics later discovered that their throats had been slit.

How can some people be so tangled up by made-up figures like “Gun Death” that completely ignore this horror here? And of course you hear about the numbers of suicides where a gun is used.

Husband Andy Case, 33, was found hanging by his neck from a banister.

Well this doesn’t count either. Hell if you’re against gun rights this HORRIBLE gruesome event might as well have never happened! No guns were used, just plastic bags, a knife of some sort (likely a piece of kitchen cutlery) and a few fathoms of rope.

Nothing scary there, what’s the worst that could happen? Good thing this turd didn’t have a gun, huh?

Now if you Excuse me

Just got a package in the mail. A pair of Recoil Spring Kits for both my 1911s. My stainless government is actually well overdue to be resprung, and I’m ashamed to say I could feel the slide reciprocating during my last range outing. I’ve only put around 1,000 rounds through my Commander, but I bought it used and was calling Brownells anyway, so I thought I’d get a kit for each.

Easy little chore, even with the firing pin block on the guns. Now they’re quite stiff. I’ll function test the both of them this weekend!

Now if you excuse me, I’m going to pour myself an adult beverage and go play Call of Duty! I’ve almost leveled up my Micro-Uzi!

Another Quote

Put this one spesifically in the “Gun Death?” category.

“While Lott is nice enough to say firearms crime, the fact is that all crime is far more important than the little subset of “firearms crime”
-Laci The Dog (or her Lawyer owner)

Their ability to contradict themselves Warning Puss-filled Irony this way Just in case you aren’t as familiar with “Laci” as some of us are.

Quote of the Day

“What’s a better example of sheep-like behavior than mindlessly repeating catchy one liners, regardless of their veracity?” -MikeB30200

Who’s to complain if our enimies hang themselves with rope they bought with their own money?

Good Work!

I think most of you remember This post on two Massachusetts gun owners claiming the goods of Deval Patrick’s “One-Gun-A-Month” law. I suspect they might be actors, and noted the dishonesty of their video.

Sebastian found an article that gives both their names and found them to very open anti-rights people. So again, the other side needs to lie to push their agenda.

As I said before, please take action now! to stop this bill from becoming law.

Also thanks to Sebastian for his good work further destroying this ruse of popular support.

They’re coming directly to the post and leaving from it, but I can’t seem to figure out where the link is coming from. Any ideas? Any South Africans wanna drop a comment?

Good to see that Weer’d World is just as Worldly as the blog title!

There’s a certain guy who I’ve been meaning to call, but just haven’t. I won’t lie, I hate talking on the phone. Still knowing he’s a man of the modern world I ran a search on his name in Youtube, and hey look we ALL win!

He’s got a few other videos up too! Maybe I’ll give him a call tonight!

Gun Death? Odd Eddition

So I have a few odd stories for this latest edition to “Gun Death?”

First was sent to me by Buddy Bob S. who saw it on the local news:

A 31-year-old man was stabbed to death Friday night after he assaulted a uniformed security guard who was patrolling an apartment complex near 9000 Randol Mill and Mill Valley in east Fort Worth.

Williams reportedly attacked the 22-year-old guard by punching him in the head and knocking him to the ground where he continued to fight him. Witnesses told police that Musick was defending himself when he retrieved his small pocket-knife and stabbed Williams to get him off of him. Police said Musick is much smaller than Williams.

Kind of a reverse of the standard story, instead this security guard had NO defensive arms against people who had it out for him. Note this story was sparked because the dead man was pissed that the security guard had been doing his job.

I will say a “Pocket Knife” is a bad choice for a defensive arm, tho it beats bare hands in many applications. That being said I use my pocket knife all day long for various things from trimming my nails to breaking down boxes, chances are when I might need it to fend off an attacker it’ll be as dull as a butter knife…also the shape of most pocket knives leaves little protection from your hands sliding down the blade. When I’m in a location that precludes me from carrying a gun I carry one of these as a dedicated defensive knife. I also recently saw this and thought it might be a hot-ticket as a dedicated defensive knife. And you’ll note that the price won’t break anybody’s bank.

Still is it BETTER that the SECURITY guard had to draw a lesser weapon to defend himself? Is it important that this case NOT be a “Gun Death”?

Second Story I heard on the news and KNEW it had to come here:

Police are investigating an alleged assault inside San Diego Comic-Con’s 6,000-person Hall H that occurred today around 5 p.m. PST. According to San Diego police, one man stabbed another in the face near the eye in a dispute over seating near the rear of the hall. Police say attendees subdued the attacker, who was arrested without further incident

Sounds like from further research the victim is OK. Still not too hard to kill somebody with a pen or pencil. Even easier to blind them. But hey he didn’t use a gun right, so Its OK, right?

Just thought I’d share those two with you.
