“Gun Death” Band Hazing

I was a band geek through most of my School years and college…thankfully I never witnessed or had to deal with any of this shit.

The death of a Florida A&M University student who was a victim of hazing has been ruled a homicide…The Orange County Medical Examiner’s office said that Champion died of ‘blunt force trauma sustained during a hazing incident.’

The article doesn’t really say how or why it went this far, but its sad. I never understood the need to brutalize new recruits to any sort system or group. Certainly don’t understand why such practices might entail death.

Hey, but not a “Gun Death” because antis keep Campuses Gun Free, and we can see how well that works.

For Your Holiday Cheer

Being a lifelong g33k now is the time of year often associated with electronics. This reminded me of these commercials.

And a youtube wander came up with this dinosaur!

BTW that first video that started this all, I looked up on my phone while reading my Kindle on the couch. We’ve come quite a ways!

Helping Hands Across State Lines

This is a nice feel-good story.

The demand for “conceal and carry” courses has increased after Wisconsin law made it legal on Nov. 1. Even Minnesota gun instructors are getting involved.

Steven Holt, manager of Arrowhead Firearms Training Academy in Duluth, said new training demands from across the border means he’ll begin classes for Wisconsin residents in January.

Conceal carry has become so popular that when Wisconsin finally legalized carry people flooded the system to get their permit and start legally carry concealed. (Which in Wisconsin at this time of year is the ONLY way to carry really) The same thing has been happening here in Massachusetts as more people begin to own and carry guns here, is that the waiting lists for classes become long as the classes fill to the max.

So its nice to see the neighbors in Minnesota helping out where they can!

Two Quick Stories

Got a few moments before the festivities started and I thought I’d share these two stories courtesy of the BLNN. They aren’t quite the Merry fair this day deserves, but they were interesting non-the-less.

First I thought we got over this crap in the 90s.

There was disorder from California to Georgia as shoppers vied to buy a retro version of a classic Air Jordan model.

A new pair costs about $180, but they are already being listed on eBay for as much as $605.

The ugly scenes recalled the violence that broke out in the early 1990s on streets across America as the shoes became popular targets for thieves.

Now this makes no sense for a pair of Gucci of Cole Haan dress shoes, or maybe some exotic skin Cowboy Boots…but a pair of Sneakers? Especially a pair of sneakers named after a retired sports hero. Sad sad state of affairs.

And of course I thought I’d drop some shame on the degenerates and scumbags in the UN.

The United Nations General Assembly honored Kim Jong Il with a moment of silence, in the latest international tribute to the late dictator who operated one of the most repressive countries in the world.
Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, president of the U.N. General Assembly, granted the request for the moment of silence Thursday. As the United States and other western delegations boycotted, the rest of the delegates and officials in the chamber stood in silence for about 25 seconds, some bowing their heads.

If I had my way we’d withdraw our name from this sickening waste of time and depravity. Also I’d evict them from UN Building in New York City and turn the whole thing into low-income housing.

OK If you’re reading my blog, go do something Christmasy! If you’re an anti-gun person, try carrying a gun today! You just might like it.

I have a Kahr PM45 in my dress slacks.

Merry Christmas to All! And thanks again to the Bubblehead Less News Network.

“Gun Death” Chili

When we argue about Chili we tend to argue if it has beans or not…not morphine

A central Pennsylvania woman is behind held without bail in the poisoning death of her 90-year-old grandmother three years ago.

York Area Regional Police say Shelby Lyn Adams mixed morphine with her grandmother’s chili during a May 2008 outing to a fast food restaurant. Ada Adams became ill and died two days later of opiate toxicity.

BTW the Morphine was stolen from the hospital where she worked (Morphine of course is a controlled substance and can’t legally be possessed without a prescription), as was the check fraud that she murdered her Grandmother to commit.

So not a “Gun Death”, nor a Death that was prevented by the countless laws broken. This is the world the antis have for us.

The Hero Of Canton

This story sent to me by the BLNN, the Bubblehead Les News Network

Whatever happened to Canton police officer Daniel Harless, whose dash-cam video of a traffic stop last summer went viral because of his out-of-control rant?

Canton officials are reviewing Harless’ actions on June 8, when the officer flew into a profanity-laced rage over finding a gun on a man who had a concealed-handgun license.

Ohioans for Concealed Carry called Harless “the cop heard ’round the world’ ” for his tantrum. A police dashboard camera caught the meltdown on tape, and the group quickly posted it on Youtube.

Canton Public Safety Director Thomas Ream had a disciplinary hearing Dec. 15. Ream has until Jan. 16 to make a decision.

Harless, 45, was placed on administrative leave shortly after the incident, and he later was moved to medical leave. In an interview with The Plain Dealer, Police Chief Dean McKimm would not be specific about Harless’ medical condition, saying only that the leave “was related to a doctor’s recommendation.” Harless has been with the department about 15 years.

Of course several video surfaced, all with Officer Harless threatening to murder people he was arresting, and noting that his fellow officers would have his back.

I’m glad to know he’s relaxing with pay right now while his corrupt police department figures out a way to cover this up. Of course Officer Harless may find himself to be the sacrificial lamb for the crooked cause…this doesn’t mean the corruption will stop…

A Rare Admission of Truth

From Joan Peterson of the Brady Campaign and the Joyce Foundation

But I know one thing that is not on my list this year for Christmas- a concealable hand gun. Such is not the case for a lot of others in the country. Sales of guns appear to be up this holiday season. The world of guns is so different from the world in which I live.

We’ve been telling her her for over a year now that the world she thinks she lives in isn’t reality.

I’ll take a turn of her own phrase, Try carrying a gun this holiday season! You don’t have to jump in with both feet, as a matter of fact, I recommend easing into carry.

If you’re brave and open minded, you’ll quickly find it isn’t as scary as you think!
