Had another Vicious Circle last night. By the time I got home from work I was feeling really tired. I took a nap and it didn’t get any better, so I called in sick.
Now I’m listening to it in my PJs.

Again the common denominator in violent crime is the person, not the tool.
The man involved in Monday’s bizarre case in which he is alleged to have run over a complete stranger in East Park with a stolen John Deere Gator ATV is now strongly believed to have been involved in an unprovoked knife attack just as strange from last month.
No guns, so no problem, right? What’s the big deal?

Too good not to repost. From Joan Peterson of the Brady Campaign.
The amount of rounds in a magazine certainly does make a difference. Tell that to the 3rd, 4th, 5th person killed at the Tucson shopping mall. At the least fewer people would have been killed and perhaps with more time to get away since the shots would not be coming so quickly.
And Joan what will you tell to the 1st and 2nd people? BTW you buddy and colleague, as well as likely all of his deceased classmates, were shot with ammo that had been loaded into a 10-round magazine. What do you say to him and his deceased classmates?
But this is why Joan moderates her comments. Arguments of the antis are for those who feel, but never think.
There’s a lot of talk about them. Check my sidebar and I’m sure you’ll find a more in-depth discussion of the current event. I really don’t care for the moment as I have zero interest in any product produced by said company. This story has further told me to simply stay away.
That being said, if you’re concerned about RFID chips, I suspect 10-seconds in the microwave will fry most chips, but leave most items (especially non-metallic, or items made of large solid pieces of metal. I haven’t extensively researched this but I hear its thin metal like foil, or pointed metal like forks that cause the most microwave drama) also baring a metallic reaction, simply putting a glass of water in the corner of the microwave to soak up the excess energy should keep your microwave from cooking itself.
Just sayin’
Looks like another video has surfaced (link here)
Seems he pulls over a car suspecting drunk driving, and in his search he finds a .25 Pistol on the floor. As we saw in the now famous viral video, Officer Daniel “Roid Rage” Harless again threatens to murder all people at the scene. This of course kind of eclipses his horrendous behavior as a law enforcement officer, as well as horribly unprofessional behavior which in themselves make him a shame to the police force.
Please note that Jay found Mr. Harless to have an extensive history with internal affairs, given how similar these two videos are, I suspect at least a few of those 16 cases are similar.
Given that he is still able to walk in public wearing a Canton PD shield, and his behavior is known to at LEAST two other officers, and given the number of IA investigations, I suspect most of the force knew him as a lose cannon, and given the Force’s one reckless disregard for the rights of their citizens I wouldn’t be happy until every member of the Police force from the Chief to the dispatchers were terminated and replaced with new, unrelated faces, and Mr. Harless stands trial for his violent crimes.
I certainly will make it a point the next time I’m in Ohio to not go anywhere near the city of Canton.
Furthermore I’m also very unimpressed by the reaction by the officer. Now again like the first video there does appear to be something shady going on. Still a gun inside a car isn’t a crime by itself. Ohio you can open carry and own guns without permits or permission. There is no word if the driver or passenger were intoxicated, nor if they were prohibited people (granted that would only be determined after the scene was secured) But just because somebody has a gun in the car is no reason to shoot somebody. In Ohio you have a duty to inform the police if you are carrying a weapon. Furthermore they were asked and lied, that’s a big deal. Furthermore there was the whole “Its not mine” bullshit. they’re probably prohibited people up to no good.
Congrats officer, you got them. Cuff and book them, and enjoy a beer and maybe a 3 hour workout session to keep those dirty muscles firm. They were compliant, they didn’t try to run, or fight. You have no justification to shoot them.
The entire Canton PD is this violent criminal, as far as I’m concerned. I don’t know why anybody would think any different.
This scene was witnessed by an officer who appears to be different than the other video
Wow, I’m listening to Collin Goddard of the Brady Campaign Vs. Larry Pratt of GOA on NPR (three organizations that I think do more harm than good)
I’m finding the debate is a target rich environment, I’m going to have to do a fisk of this when I get some free time. Unfortunately that time is not now. Maybe tonight, possibly this weekend.
Until then have a listen, and take a stab at it. Oh and for the LOLz I heard about it through the Joyce Foundation Twitter Feed @gunshowloophole
BIG THANK YOU and congratulations to Colin Goddard who on NPR just defeated Larry Pratt
I certainly think either they didn’t hear the interview or they’re mentally ill. I know where my vote lies.
And lightning can strike twice in the same place.
An AWOL Army private arrested after investigators found bomb-making materials in his hotel room raised suspicions as soon as he pulled up in a cab at the gun store where he bought some of the supplies, according to an employee.
“How many people go shopping at gun stores in a taxi cab?” asked store employee Greg Ebert, a retired police officer who described Abdo as guarded and asking odd questions.
Wow. Again note that Ft. Hood is STILL a gun-free zone despite the fact that the majority of its occupants are professional soldiers. BTW note the linked story is from CNN, Of course this guy was once CNN’s darling:
Sounds like he was an expert in Islam, the “Peaceful Religion”.
Abdo is a Muslim who had been granted conscientious objector status, but he went AWOL from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, after he was charged by military officials with possession of child pornography.
Of course I am not going to Malign all Muslims, there are many Muslims that I would trust with my life, and there are others that I’m quite sure are quite pious and good people, as well as fair-weather Muslims, just like many of the “Christians” and “Jews” I know who really pick-and-choose which tenants of their religion that they can follow, and when to follow them.
Still isn’t it interesting how all these horrible violent terrorists (and in this case, a pederast) talking about the tenants of Islam. It rings about as clear as when a Christian Leader stands up against the sins of homosexuality only to be caught having sex with another man.
Last up I’d like to tip my hat to the gun shop. Good work at tipping off the police. I’d be interested to hear the questions asked. I’ve read a few quotes about him asking about smokeless powder, but sounds like there’s a LOT more to this. Note that while the Fast and Furious criminal acts were going on the Gun Shops did the EXACT same thing but were in many cases threatened to comply with the criminal acts so guns could be illegally transported to Mexican criminals.
Of course the freedom haters did all they could to talk about “Shady” or “Rogue” gun shops. They shall ignore this.
I guess the best way to solve a Love Triangle is to kill one of them…
Thomas Joseph Fort Jr., 27, was found dead inside a storage building behind the home on Tuesday morning, Sheriff Brindell Wilkins Jr. said. Investigators said they believe he was killed early Sunday and died of a blow to his head.
Wilkins said the death resulted from a love triangle.
Good thing he wasn’t shot! That could have been REALLY bad, right?
