Good Video, Good Cause

I totally hate campaign fiance laws, there are a million loopholes around them for the “big evil corporations” to jump through, but when a group of regular people want to push their issue, they’re really SOL.

Guns are Too Easy

Sometimes you’ll get an anti-rights bigot who attempts to defend their focus on “Gun Death”, saying that other methods can cause death, but guns allow a killed to act at the spur of the moment where other means don’t. you buy that?

Police arrived at the home in the 2600 block of Kings Road to find Richard William Carter, 43, lying on his back with blood in the middle of his chest, according to a police report.

Police allege Carter had been in an argument with his girlfriend, Kathy Crittenden, 54, which they say ended when she killed him with a knife. Crittenden was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.

A simple argument that ends in murder….but they won’t look at this one as an example, why? Because no gun was used!

Hide Your Heat: For the Lay-Deez

Great Video:

I think the key take-away is look at what you have for clothing and work your concealment options around it. From all my looking and reading, woman’s clothing SUCKS for conceal carry, and you need to put some thought into what gun and what holster you’ll use. Also I agree with her about off-the-body carry. Something like a purse is a great place to HIDE your gun, but people leave purses laying around all the time, people forget their purse, and thieves steal them. BAD OPTION. Also tucking a gun in a vehicle can be a pain for if you’re ever pulled over for speeding or any other traffic offense, but also when you leave your car you either have to leave your gun unattended, or transition to an on-body holster, and in the glass box that is a car, and close quarters you could be spotted, and you could commit a safety violation.

Also note that everybody’s body and tastes are different. My favorite carry rig is a shoulder holster and my least-favorite is a Galco Belly band, and her favorite appears to be a thigh rig which is VERY slick, but no way I’d conceal it, or a woman who doesn’t wear skirts or short dresses. Maybe guys in kilts would enjoy this as well. Another great series is here

So ladies don’t get discouraged, there are ways for even you to hide your heat.

The Bottom Line Pt. 2

Just saw this Gem:

Using an undercover officer, they arranged to purchase cocaine from Santiago three times last fall and then arrested him.

After a series of unsuccessful pretrial motions to dismiss the case or suppress evidence, where officers were called to testify, the case was headed for trial Tuesday in Peabody District Court.

That’s when Santiago and his lawyer, William O’Hare, instead decided to cut a deal with a judge.

Santiago offered to admit that prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him on three of the four cocaine distribution charges he was facing — if Judge Richard Mori would impose a disposition that spared Santiago from being deported.

Over the objection of a prosecutor, who wanted Santiago to spend at least six months in jail, Mori went along with the defense request.

He agreed to continue the charges against Santiago without a finding for 364 days — one day short of the year that would have triggered deportation proceedings.

So we have an Alien (I believe he is here legally) who is dealing drugs, and also taking up Police resources making a case so he can be taken off the street. The End result of a conviction could be him deported from the country. I like it, get criminals engaging in dangerous and violent crimes against society off the street, and if they aren’t citizens, send them back home for their home nation to deal with them. We are a nation of immigrants, but I think we can have standards to only deal with our domestic trash.

Nope, he’s back on the street with the promise to keep his nose clean.

Santiago had already been the beneficiary of a continuation without a finding in a marijuana distribution case, according to court records.

Good job nanny-state liberals. Punish the lawful and let the bad actors go free. Be onto their lies, and remember that come November and beyond!

The Bottom Line

So I’m watching the Mattapan Murders closely because in some points its an exception that will prove the rule (as a general rule Police don’t bother much with gang-land killings, and the people in the area don’t help the police do their jobs. I think because of the baby killed, as well as the media attention Police might bring the shooters to justice, rather than let the case Go Unsolved) but also it shows the failure of the system

The Boston Herald is reporting a gun possibly linked to the shooting was found in the home of a driver who was stopped around the time of the shootings.

You’ll note no references to arrests….because as of the time of my typing there aren’t any. They have a gun and a car (both items with mandatory registration) but they have no people in custody. Also the City paid millions of dollars on Gunshot detectors and I believe that was what first summoned police to the scene (tho 911 calls were shortly behind) and again…no suspects.

When people say “When we know there are things that work, we should apply them anyway, even against strong resistance. Doing the right thing can save lives. Elected leaders- are you listening?” We need to be prepared to call them on their lies.

Ignoring the violent crime problem and focusing on tools used does nothing for public safety but waste money.

Gun Control, It WORKS!

When you get rid of Guns you get rid of “Gun Death”

One of the men charged in the beating death of a Victoria man in August 2009 testified Monday that the victim was being punished…

Seems like this whole case it tied to Mexican organized crime. Good thing they don’t have guns, otherwise a “Gun Death” might have resulted!

Maybe the tools aren’t the issue, maybe its organized crime, and violent individuals? Nah, let’s just ban more GUNS!!!

What Do Laws Do?

It seems that so many of the anti-rights advocates seem to preach that if guns were banned or restricted less violent crime would occur. (This is politely assuming that they are cold blooded asshole who only care about “Gun Death” but we can’t rule that out)

So the premise is that if owning a gun was as illegal as murder people wouldn’t murder?

This is the same stupid dichotomy where “Progressives” in Tennessee bitched about the ban on carry where alcohol was sold was repealed. People talked about “Drunks with guns” despite the law still making it illegal to drink while carrying.

Again, if the law that keeps people out of restaurants works, why would they suddenly disobey the new law that allows them in, but bans them from drinking?

Look either people obey the law or they don’t. Well that isn’t exactly true, given that people may speed, or smoke a joint, or fail to disclose some cash income on their tax forms, but maybe they don’t rape, assault or murder. That’s easily explained, as violent crime is most often punished with stricter sentencing guidelines.

So even with THIS theory in place, its still a lesser crime to illegally posses or carry a gun than it is to murder or assault.

Maybe there’s a reason why they refuse to talk with people who disagree with them

Thankfully that’s also why we’re winning this war.
