On Free Speech

We talked about this video on The Squirrel Report last night

Now under the 1st Amendment Chick-fil-A, The mayors of Chicago and Boston, and this creepy bigot ALL had the right to say what they wanted to say. Also the bosses of Mr. Creepy had every right to cut their losses with that goon and give him his walking papers.

Really the only point where the 1st Amendment comes into play is when the Government officials (Tom Menino, and Rahm Emanuel) decided to flex their GOVERNMENT muscle to keep a lawful business out of “Their Town”.

Also while Mr. Creepy got his walking papers, I hop Miss Drive-Through got a promotion, its HARD to be accused of bigotry and hate you don’t have in your heart by a total stranger on what I assume was a LONG hard and tiring day. She really made the company look good, and I hope they took that into consideration.

Also on a final note, how about that tag-line “I’m a nice guy, and I’m a heterosexual, there’s not a gay in me!” closer really exposes his black little heart. This reminds me of the “Progressives” we have around here who “love black people”….but wouldn’t be a huge fan if one moved into their street. No, you’re not a nice guy…weather you’re gay or not isn’t really a concern to me…but it obviously is a major concern to him, as he needs to share it with perfect strangers who he’s already showed his ass to!

“Coexist”

Robb has a great post on a person with a “Coexist” and other peaceful bumper stickers engaging in hateful aggression.

Les sends me this story on a larger scale:

German Olympic officials said Friday that a rower who was a member of the country’s women’s eight crew has left the Olympics after a broadcaster reported that her partner was a supporter of Germany’s far right.

The national Olympic association’s general director, Michael Vesper, said he and German rowing officials held a meeting with Nadja Drygalla in which she “stressed credibly” that she “is committed to the values of the Olympic charter.”…IOC spokesman Mark Adams said “I don’t think it’s an issue for us because she hasn’t said or done anything related to the games.”

They want to “Coexist” all right…but only with a monoculture that directly reflects their own views.

Another LOL!

Wow this video is surreal!

I laughed at “These are the facts!” (except they’re already proven false years ago)

Also “How Does Mr X get away with this?” when talking about a hypothetical straw buyer.

Easy, Mr. X is an FBI informant, and gun dealers were threatened by the ATF that they would lose their licenses, and therefore their business if they didn’t let the informants buy large quantities of guns with US tax dollars, and then walk them over the boarder.

Of course the “Solutions” that the video calls for are the EXACT reason why Fast and Furious was started. It wasn’t an “ATF Sting” that “failed”, as there was nothing in their tactics that went wrong. The whole goal was to ship US weapons to the Mexican cartels and have them murder people, then when Mexico captured cartel soldiers they would send the guns back to the US to be traced, and the ATF would deny any knowledge of their involvement of the sale of that firearm. President Obama would then push for gun control.

The only thing that went wrong was the ATF fiends got caught!

Morning Laugh

I’m not even going to quote this article except for the title. Its hilarious, go take a look into the bizzaro universe of the anti-freedom cult:

How to Break NRA’s Grip on Politics: Michael R. Bloomberg

Good luck with that, Mike. I suspect you’ll find that when your key talking points are fabricated, you’ll find they don’t translate into reality.

But go ahead and keep pushing the myth. Yeah all us gunnies are with you Mike, we just need you to present a few more bills and crush the NRA with your cute little AstroTurf lobby group!

Killdozer 2.0

The first “Killdozer” was made and driven by a disgruntled employee against his factory. This story is a Vermont farmer.

Authorities say a Vermont farmer angry over a recent arrest used a large tractor like a monster truck, destroying seven police cruisers parked outside a sheriff’s office.

Police say 34-year-old Roger Pion (PEE’-on) was taken into custody shortly after the episode Thursday afternoon outside the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department in Newport. No one was injured.

Glad nobody got hurt, still I’m amused by the story!

As if They Aren’t Bad Enough!

TSA Poised to Unionize:

Transportation Security Administration workers are poised to unionize after striking a labor agreement with the American Federation of Government Employees.

The agreement follows pushback last year from Republicans on Capitol Hill worried that a big union presence through the TSA ranks could stifle the organization’s flexibility in response to security threats.

But supporters of TSA unionization have called these warnings unrealistic.

This agency is worthless, it will only get worse under the protection of a public sector union. Also with full-time union bosses running the show will make things THAT much harder to dissolve this waste of money and violation of our freedoms.

The TSA has stopped no terrorist attacks, they are also highly ineffective at their task of detecting contraband. All of this at the cost of BILLIONS of US Tax dollars, and violation of our fourth amendment rights as well as harassment and sexual assault.

We MUST DISBAND THE TSA ASAP!!

Do we really want this crap with the TSA?

A former rising star within the Service Employees International Union has been charged with bilking his ex-employer, one of the nation’s most powerful labor groups.

Tyrone Freeman, 42 years old, who once led a large Los Angeles-based local representing low-wage health-care workers, was indicted Tuesday on 15 criminal counts, including mail fraud and the embezzlement of $100,000.

Unions are organized crime under the cover of law!

“Gun Death” Technology

A bit ironic:

An Amish man has died after being trampled and dragged by a horse-drawn buggy he was driving tourists around in on Sunday afternoon.

Russell Dean Shope, 59, was killed as he worked as a tour guide taking passengers for trips on traditional Amish horse-drawn carts around the Pennsylvanian farming town of Strasburg.

The two passengers on board, a 9-year-old girl and a 65-year-old man visiting from Delaware, Pennsylvania, suffered cuts and bruises after being thrown from the runaway buggy.

Obviously we must ban horse-drawn buggies, as modern cars are much safer….wait, more people are killed in car accidents….well at least it wasn’t a “Gun Death”, right!

“Gun Death” Golden Gate Bridge

Barron sent me this video and I thought it warranted its own post outside of the standard “Gun Death” serial.

Overall its a very respectful, but a bit melancholy documentary on people who killed themselves on the Golden Gate Bridge. They do a good job at letting the family air their grievances and celebrate the lives of their loved one. Also has the story of one man who survived jumping, and a few people who were foiled in their attempt to end their lives.

Now I’m not going to talk any more about the movie as a whole, its a good film, and you should watch it.

Now in the context of this blog and “Gun Death”, one thing I noticed as consistency in all these stories was A) Mental Illness, and B) most of the people planned this for months if not years.

Suicide is a horrible thing, and the movie made me sad, but its very obvious that it was the person, not the method or tool.

There Ought to Be a Law

OH NO!! WE NEED TO STOP THIS!!!

Authorities say a Philadelphia man is behind bars after he carried a partly disassembled AK-47 assault rifle and other weapons onto a crowded subway car during rush hour.

Horrible evil, racist tea party!!!

Police say a search also turned up about two dozen Percocet pills and more than an ounce of marijuana after a passenger getting off at City Hall told a transit officer she’d seen a man apparently carrying a gun.

He also had $700 in cash. Any bet what his chosen vocation was? Yeah, criminals don’t care about the law, and when we catch them and put them in jail. This is how gun laws SHOULD work, not looking at little-ol-me and my guns and ammo.

Also this story ties in well:

A man convicted of stealing a gun used in a murder was given 125 years in prison — about a century longer than the actual killers received after taking plea deals.

Christopher G. Nichols, 27, was sentenced Tuesday for gun theft, trafficking in stolen property, being a felon in possession of firearms and other crimes,

Do criminal acts, go to prison! Go to the range, have fun!

**UPDATE** Sean finds the guy’s criminal history here and here. He had been found guilty of these recent serious crimes, yet he was out free to be caught again. “Bad Justice” tag added!

Oh, the Sorrow of the Toothless Police State

This story is just a chain of red flags.

Maryland police say they averted a serious threat by tossing a possible “Dark Knight” copycat in a mental hospital but are outraged at their inability to charge him with any serious crimes.

You know why you can’t charge him with any serious crimes? BECAUSE HE DIDN’T COMMIT ANY!! Also, he’s fucking locked up now, that isn’t enough for you jackals?

Look, I’m no fan of this turd, he was making threats against other people. Hey but if he didn’t commit any “Serious Crimes”, don’t invent one! This way a police state lies!
