A man ended up at the hospital with knife wounds to his leg and hand after his ex-girlfriend attacked him with what he described as a hunting knife and robbed him of his food stamp card, according to a Dayton police report.
The man told police he agreed to meet with his ex-girlfriend and loan her the card after she called him around 9 p.m. Saturday and wanted to borrow it to buy groceries.
When he arrived at the designated meeting place in front of an apartment in the 600-block of West Grand Avenue, the man said his ex-girlfriend was accompanied by her new boyfriend.
Love, knives, and Foodstamps…that’s all the making for a racy independent film if you ask me.
If we ban all guns in the Nation that should sort this sort of problem right out!
Of course its foolish to allow our bodies to be groped and searched by an incompetent agency that accomplishes nothing, but think of how it makes us look on the international scene!
More storms are brewing for the TSA after the Indian ambassador was forced to undergo a patdown at an airport, reportedly on grounds that she was wearing a sari.
Meera Shankar was in a security line at a Mississippi airport last week when she was pulled out for a hands-on search.
“Let me be frank. This is unacceptable to India. We are going to take it up with the government of the United States so that such unpleasant incidents do not recur,” India’s Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna said in New Delhi.
Seems like the great people of India don’t seem to like getting their mitten pinched any more than the Americans.

So I felt about the same tonight as I did last night, so I came home, took off my yucky work clothes (working in a lot of dusty crap today) took a hot shower, then watched The Incredible Petrified World. Very enjoyable. A deep sea adventure picture obviously written by somebody who’s exposure to the sea hasn’t gone far beyond a trip in a ferry boat. The Scientist was amazed by really basic things and totally unimpressed by some amazing discoveries. And lots of overlooking of basic facts…like how the divers all exit the diving bell from the TOP, yet the bell stays dry, and if they think the undersea caverns might connect with the surface….where might that be as they were diving in the open ocean???

Oprah is one of the more bizarre people in the world. Her personal relationships are really strange. Maybe she’s a lesbian, maybe she’s such a narcissist that it just looks that way. I will say there is nothing about her that is a normal heterosexual woman.

And of course its all bullshit. Have a look at this story. Violent criminal released from prison, goes out and kills 4 people and wounds another. Shot spotter technology is actually what called the police to the scene of the crime, tho 911 calls were also made in a short timeframe. The man was apprehended TWO MONTHS LATER!

Police are investigating an altercation in the Old Port that sent a Portland man to the hospital last weekend with serious head injuries.
Assistant Police Chief Michael Sauschuck said Garrett McAdam, 23, was injured when he fell on his head after someone punched him….The couple said the attack left their son with a fractured temple bone and a hematoma that required emergency brain surgery. The incident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday near the intersection of Fore Street and Plum Alley.
Sounds like he’s recovering, but he has a long way to go. Also word is McAdam was just about to Join the Military, this very well may end that plan for him.
I was unable to find a news archive of it, but back when I was in High School a similar incident happened in the same area. I guess its some sort of Gang-Initiation where you punch an unsuspecting person with the goal to knock them out with a single punch. Who knows how often this happens, but back in the 90s a man was killed in VERY similar circumstances. He was walking with friends when somebody came up from behind and hit him. The man fell to the street and hitting the pavement he suffered a fatal brain injury.
Of course Portland Maine continues to do their best to restrict guns and gun owners. Sounds like a worthwhile endeavor, doesn’t it?
I’ve often used this term to describe proponents of restriction of 2nd Amendment rights. I haven’t used it much recently, and frankly I should go back into it. On the the front that blames tools, I’ve pointed out that Today’s gun banner is tomorrow’s knife banner And let’s not forget that the 2nd Amendment is not the only right these Authoritarians wish to truncate. We have of course been talking about their assault on the 4th Amendment with the TSA Violations that Catch NOTHING. But of course it doesn’t stop there.
I’m no Rush Limbaugh fan. He was the guy who got me hooked on News Talk Radio and Politics, but I quickly outgrew him to more topical and local shows, and when he started abusing drugs I stopped listening to him entirely, and haven’t ever felt the need to look back except in incidental moments where I turn the radio on and he’s there. (FYI I was unaware he was a drug addict until I after I’d stopped listening, just the dope took so much off of his already weak fastball, he lost all appeal to me). But I’ll admit Rush is the biggest name in talk radio, and I suspect its because of his simplistic approach to the issues. Likely what got me started on the genre with his show, and why I don’t listen to him today. Limbaugh is a Republican Cheer-Leader, he was a Bush Apologist during the Presidency of George W. Bush, and of course Bill Clinton could do nothing right in the eyes of Limbaugh, and his Adversary Newt Gingrich could do no wrong. So obviously Limbaugh is against Obama, and those on the left who know our current president is essentially George W. Bush’s 3rd Incompetent term have nowhere to hide but behind the race card.
But Rev. Sharpton’s idiocy and race-baiting is hardly a surprise, but the Authoritarian hand-tip that Limbaugh should be removed by the FCC really shows where their desires lie. Only THEIR signal must reach us, all dissent must be crushed.
So I will make an effort to describe all foes of civil liberties, from Al Sharpton, to President Obama, to Joan Peterson, to Michael Bonomo again as Anti-Freedom, Pro-Ignorance. As the only freedom they want is THEIR freedom, and they want the world to be as unaware of this as possible, and the only message you will hear is THEIR message.
Hopped into bed and popped in The Atomic Brain this film was one of 99 other films I picked up for the princely sum of $20 at a local wholesale club. So far most of the movies on it are bad, and the rest are HORRID, which if that’s what you’re looking for is a VERY good thing.
That’s my plan at least. I’m home from work, but I have ZERO energy, so I think I’m gonna pop in a 50s Monster Movie of some sort and chill out until BB&Guns is on tonight, then maybe see if I’m more in a blogging mood.
I DO have this weekend off, so I should start resembling my old self a bit more soon.
So first up for a follow-up on all the questions last night, I’ll state that yeah I’m currently taking Allergy shots and they’re really the only reason why I’m able to do my current line of work. Also I took the shots in High school and College and I was more-or-less allergy-free until I started this work, and the histamine reaction to the rats and mice reverted everything. Hopefully I’ll get back to where I once was and not have to worry about all this.
