That’s not at all why people support gun control. It has nothing to do with “keeping you down” or keeping you “where you belong.” It’s about minimizing gun violence, which I admit is a debatable idea, but it has nothing to do with bigotry against gun owners and no similarity to the KKK and all the other nonsense you keep preaching.
Very telling words. First I’m pleased to see he admits that gun control minimizing Gun Violence is debatable.
But if he admits its debatable, why is it he does everything any anything to avoid an actual debate of any kind?
I mean my support of the death penalty is certainly based on debatable grounds. Ie if it saves society money form housing dangerous criminals, or if it helps deter criminals away from capital offenses. Both are debatable and I’ve read a wealth of studies that support me, as well as refute me. If somebody wants to discuss the issue, you certainly won’t see me behaving like Mr. B.
Also if Sparky cares one whit about “Gun Death” and “Gun Violence”, why does his blog never mention when lawfully armed people fend off unlawfully armed ones?
Consulting Occam’s Razor seems to me that Mike is again lying.
At least he’s stupid enough to directly contradict himself in his statement so that we can easily show his dishonesty!
Wow, I checked on the Pepper Vodka, and after just 3 days its the color of Iced tea and smells VERY strong. So I decanted and bottled it. Wow its a bit strong, but VERY refreshing and STRONG. I may dial back the peppercorns just a bit to mellow it out a bit. Still this stuff is darker than the scotch that previously occupied the bottle its residing in.
Should make a killer martini!
So I grabbed Dead Snow on Netflix Instant view.
Now I had seen the Origonal Nazi Zombie Flic and it sucked ass. Also happened to be that it was a damaged disk that I’d gotten as a hand-me-down, so eventually we got sick of watching skipping film that I hucked it in the trash. That being said, what I saw was Uber-Lame!
Dead Snow is anything but! Its a great mix of Horror, Action, Gore, Comedy, and scenic cinematography. Oh, and did I mention Nazi Zombies?
Downsides is I generally think a good Zombie film is all about the characters with the zombies as a foil, this film the people are thinner characters (tho hardly Twilight Two-Dimensional) but without too much spoilers, the Nazi Zombies seem to have a LOT more character.
Also Sometimes the comedy bordered on absurd. Still I enjoyed the shit out of Dead Snow, and I highly recommend. Also the whole film is shot in Norwegian which is kind of an interesting language to listen to, as most of my Foreign Films are French, German, Chinese, and Japanese.
Go watch it, and if you don’t have Netflix instant view go get that too!

So I wasn’t feeling so hot last night, and decided to forgo both B-B & Guns and Vicious Circle and turned in early.
Well the wife had finally given in to curiosity and rented Twilight. We HAD to watch it!
OMG I was not disappointed at how bad it is!
First up, I’ve been a Kristen Stewart fan since I fist saw her in Panic Room, but the director, Catherine Hardwicke managed to coax a few very bad performances from her.
The one complaint I’ve read about the books is that the characters are one-dimensional, and the relationship between Bella and Edward is the type of dangerous, obsessive, and controlling teenage relationships that all should avoid.
Also the wife and I were AMAZED that there were deleted scenes, as the pacing in the film could only be measured on the geological scale. The movie was 2 hours long, and could be easily be scaled down to 40 mins without any loss of plot. Tho this comes VERY close
Also Robert Pattinson is one of the ugliest men in showbuisness. Seriously I suspect his Mom did a whole lot of drugs while pregnant and attempted to abort him with hairspray.
Needless to say after watching this movie I actually had a strong desire for vampires to be real….so I could devote my life to killing them!
